Wallapop has, by far, the worst customer service and support.

It´s a scam.
Do not trust them.

What can you say about this Sham of a company, If you have an issue do not expect the Wallapop protection to be able to do anything its just a gimmick and should be called a sales fee. They will not assist in helping you contact a seller about returning an item for a refund. Be very careful with the categories of condition. Using the ai tool it defines what the seller should put on the listing as below.
Sellers should provide a precise description of the item's condition. this is not the case they do not have to be precise they can use wormy statement like (may or may not work) this is not precise to Wallapops own seller selection of the condition of the goods. Their is no category that means may or may not work these goods should be listed as not working. When flagging these issues up with them they just hit you with copy paste responses and 24 hour response times.

I would not recommend buying anything of this website as if you get a faulty item you will 100% brunt the cost. Also the amount of time wasters on the platform selling items and then don't ship them and you have to wait around one week to receive your money back.

This platform enables Fraudulent behaviors and does nothing to shut down the scammers as long as they get the Wallapop protection fee they don't give a damn about anything else.

Utterly useless and riddled with restrictions that make normal use impossible. First off, almost no one will sell anything to new members, which means you basically get to browse and never get to complete a transaction. I purchased something on an offer, which was accepted by a seller. Once I paid, I got a message the purchase had been rejected. Upon asking the seller he informed me that he would not sell to new members without at least 10 reviews. Next, I check with Wallapop, who "kindly" inform me my money will be refunded within 10 working days. Fantastic. Other sellers will simply block or reject anything from new members. While browsing, Wallapop pops up messages to ask whether you use the platform for personal or professional purposes, even when you indicate it's a personal account. Next they block you from sending more than 2 or 3 messages to sellers on any given day because you are "sending too many messages". Buy it now transactions bounce with an error message and no further explanation. So yeah, browse if you feel like wasting your time, but do NOT expect to ever buy anything. Oh, in case you do, they offer reasonable shipping rates, but whack on another 5% or so in "Wallapop guarantee" fee. Whatever, it adds up to being just about as expensive as other platforms, without their usability.

I bought water filter with ultraviolet light UV-C Spa 12W for 80€ for which I paid a protection fee of 6,69€. When it arrived I mounted it following the instructions and the UV lamp did not work. I initiated a dispute which was rejected by the seller and by wallapop with no explanation. I can’t understand the sense of the protection fee. I am using wallapop since 2018 and have 84 excellent reviews, hence Wallapop could trust my complaint was real. I will stop using wallapop.

Worst service ever! I received an item damaged in the post and sent them evidence of the clear damage. They will do everything in their power not to pay a legitimate claim, including asking for more and more (irrelevant) photos, taking 3 days to respond and then saying that the case is now closed.. Despicable criminals.

Terrible. Fraudulent vendors. Closed my account. Transport companies do not deliver. Customer Service are aggressive and then non-responsive. Do not want to hear or help. I have to admit that I was warned by another customer here in Barcelona. I'm going to go back to EBay (again) until I can find an alternative.

It's fine for buying, but be very careful. And don't trust reviews as there are no protections against maliciously false reviews, and there's no customer service.

Very much a "take your chance" service.

My wife bought a Gucci belt and found out it was a fake, Wallapop sided on the seller who was selling it as an original Gucci. Yet another example of Wallapop supporting scammers to line their pockets. Wallapop has to be investigated for fraud and scamming customers by supporting scammers and actively encouraging them. Disgusting company. This is a company that drastically needs investigation for corrupt practices. Do not use unless you can pick up the product. The shipping and insurance is part of their scam, the insurance is just in their pocket and means absolutely nothing. The buyer money protection is just outright fraud. DO NOT USE!. If anyone from the authorities reads this, do your job and investigate this disgusting company.

Three follow ups and still no response. I will not use the company to buy anything through them. There is NO protection. I bought a lamp, fell out during shipment. Shipping company repackaged the box but without the item. I messaged Wallapop about it and to ask for a refund and there is no response.

Wallapop shipping is total scam
Selling a phone, and got shipping with a wallapop ordered. The buyer takes the phone, breaks it, opens a dispute, and returns it damaged. Wallapop support is unavailable, and open dispute as a seller is impossible.
Wallapop support declined any compensation or support in this case, cause they fully support scummers.

After weeks wallapop still I’ve not replied to my emails regarding a scam that they have actively allowed. It is absolutely clear that wallapop do not protect your money like they scandalously claim. Why is this company not being investigated for corruption and false claims?. Do not use wallapop, it is corrupt and have no service whatsoever.

Not impressed. Out of the 8 orders I have placed 6 have been refunded because the seller couldnt be bothered to post their item. Communication is beyond bad and as a customer we are unable to communicate with Wallapop itself,, I think that speaks volumes. I do not like to do business with a company I am unable to contact. Other reviews here and on FB confirms my concerns. Avoid.
