Place to buy defective products, pay the warranty and have your warranty denied.
The dispute was opened and was denied in less than 24 hours. The product arrived defective! Mandatory insurance has been paid! Do not do business on this platform, there is no guarantee!
Do you have any doubts?
See below how it went:
My open dispute
The product presents an error, after installation, which does not allow it to work. This same error is recognized as a defect by Canon itself and several buyers have returned products with this problem. I've already tested it on 2 notebooks with 2 different cables, in addition to the original. There is no way to use the product, there is no function that works. Whether on Windows 7, 10 or Ubuntu. The error is the same for all operating systems

Hello! We regret to inform you that we have rejected your dispute due to the reason it is excluded from our returns policy, specifically for advertisements whose photographs do not allow you to see the actual condition of the product. This includes advertisements with photographs from the Internet, third parties, catalogues... If you would like more details and information about this rejection, we invite you to review point 9 in the following section, thank you.
In other words, your product has no guarantee even if the seller claims that it is working.

This is the worst application in terms of functional design. The Wallapop team should fire all the engineers responsible for the login system because, as I see it, they absolutely do not understand what they are doing and could work excellently, for example, as cashiers in a supermarket.

I used it a couple of times with in-person buying/selling and it worked fine, but when I used it to send a 90 EUR package from an official pick-up location, the package never arrived to the buyer. I opened an incident report with Wallapop, but it was deleted.
Again, they (or their couriers) did not deliver my package, did not let me have the money for it as compensation, and they deleted my incident report. Shameful.
I still hope this gets resolved ASAP and I might revise this review.
I am going to try and explain this as clear as I can. I had a buyer through Wallapop who was willing to buy my Burberry watch. For some reason the Wallapop platform had issues recognizing my bankcard.
So I contacted somone to help me out in the Live chat. So somone from customer support (chatting) through Wallapop platform started helping me out. And he sat with me for a long time to try to make this deal for my watch go through.
I had to do some strange verifications through the chat. I dont remember the exact details. But it was to approve like a 1 euro transaction or something similar to prove that I am the holder of the card. We tried alot of times with many different cards. Then my girlfriands card. Eventually it worked.
And finally after hours we got to a stage where the wallapop platform verified that its me doing this payments/transactions. Then the customer support guy explained that this service called Wallapop protect will take 150 euros (which was the price for the watch) and an additional 50 Euros extra as a security. Customer support explained that they will hold this money as a security deposit. This is standard to protect both parties. Which sounded reasonable to me. So I agreed to do that transaction. And after that he said I would get an email with steps on how to send the package through the post.
So I approved that 200 Euro transaction. Which I have sent to your customer support already.
Then he said now its time to do the last approval.
When it was time to do the final approval it didnt work. Customer support guy said that there must be something wrong on my end. Probobly something with my bank card, he mentioned 3d security something. Which was very strange because all previus transactions went through.
So eventually I said fine, lets just cancel this. Im to tired and dont want to sell the watch anymore. Im tired of trying this for a good 3-4 hours.
He said contact me again on that Live chat button again tomorrow. He said he was going to work tomorrow again at this time of the day. So I did, because I wanted to sell the watch. And he knew about my problem, so I didnt have to do much explaning. Unfortunately I cant rememeber the name. This was long ago, more than 2 months.
I asked him how will I get my money back? He responded they will automatically send this back to you in 2 weeks. And then he went offline. Withou asking if there is anything else he can do, or something like that. Thats what they usually do. So I got a little suspicious.
Its now been over 2 months and nothing has come back to my account. I contacted Wallapop customer support. I even have a mail conversation with a girl named Olga who said that this must be a 3rd party who must have taken my money. olga said we cant see anything transactions or chat history on our platform.
I was in Wallapop platform when I made the payment, chatted with the customer support from Wallapop.
So I dont know why you keep claiming that I am not a member in Wallapop all of a sudden? Maybe I was not logged in, thats what the support lso replied earlier in an email. That can be a possibility, I can not recall since this was long ago.
But the fact is that the transaction was still made from my bank account of 200 Euros. I provided pictures and proof to you already Wallapop. I even have the guy who was willing to buy my watch on Whatsapp. You can even confirm from his end about the watch deal.
And still you guys dont know anything?
Do you understand why I am angry. Not only have I spent around 8-10 hours in total trying to talk to a customer support and try to explain this situation and I am 200 euro minus.
If you guys are serious about solving this you are welcome to call me. I did leave my number.
There is no transaction of a package nr because there was never a package sent. The only transactions made in this scenario is the 200 Euros that was withdrawn from my bank.

Bought a iPhone 13, the screen was changed and I requested a refund, wallapop said this is not a scam and they won't let me send the iPhone back. Just a scamming site.

I recently purchased an item on Wallapop, unfortunately, it had a noticeable defect. I opened a dispute, hoping for a resolution, but to my disappointment, they closed the dispute without any explanation. It seems like Wallapop is the best place to sell broken items.

Shameful, parcel ruined by courier, open dispute on wallapop, after more than a week, dispute rejected.
Tell me then what is the point of wallapop's insurance. Totally unreliable, congratulations

Spams you with unsolicited e-mails.
Some buying scammers.
Can't relist sold items.
Can't copy description text from sold items.
Notifies you when items on your watchlist sell, but not when their price lowers (?!). Lost item because of this.
Can't use website to print shipping label, must use app (?!).
App has no home nor back button, must close and reopen it to return to main menu (?!).
Repeatedly, unilaterally, and arbitrarily removed my listing of my Anbernic RG556 handheld game console with no advertised emulators or ROMs while allowing multiple other listings of the same item from other users (?!).
Reviews are a scam. You can only review sellers if you have a positive transaction. If they lie, ignore you, scam you, or insult you, you cannot review them. There are scammers with ~5-star reviews who sell you stuff, don't ship, relist it, and insult you if you complain.
Otherwise good.
Convenient item listing (quick and easy) and shipping process (automatically suggests weight group based on item type and creates shipping label, free for sellers, must simply drop off the at post office).
Quick verification process (~1h).
No seller fees.
Unlimited listings (?).
Acts on scam reports.
Overall best secondhand marketplace.

RACIST company. Wallapop is blocking me for using Google Translate so messages is not in perfect Spanish. Stay away.
They owe me €40, will have to do charge backs via my banks.

I tried to sell a bicycle on Wallapop here in Spain, as my Spanish friends told me that was the best way to do it. Immediately after posting the Bicycle For Sale, I had enquiries. I wasn't too surprised as it was a bargain.
After that I had the Chat Bot telling me they needed me to approve a payment from my account, which would be held to verify that I wasn't a fraudulent account and would be returned to me with the payment - 230 euros!
But I haven't received the money back, and the first buyer disappeared. A second buyer appeared and I tried to go through the procedure again, but Wallapop wanted to take more money and the bank thankfully blocked that as suspicious.
The second buyer tells me that he has paid the money and it is being held by Wallapop for 14 days, but nothing else is happening. I can't find any way to contact anyone at Wallapop and ask them what is going on. My only hope is to convince my bank to take it up as a dispute, but they have said they don't recognise Wallapop as a merchant. I fear I may have lost the money, and I still don't have a buyer for the bicycle.
I’ve been using the App for over a month to sell a lot of my stuff before moving. Everything went smooth until three days ago. My account was blocked after I tried to transfer the money to my bank account. The customer service answered quickly and unblocked my account but it got blocked again when I tried to do the transfer again. I have over 400 euros stuck on this app and the customer service is not helping at all except unblocking my account each time I ask them. Would not recommend at all.

Walla poop 💩 avoid absolute rubbish, my account was deactivated after years, good reviews and right after I'd made a big sale, I've reported sex sellers on there, people selling guns, girls selling used panties, they're not interested, adios!

First package I sent to a buyer was lost in transit. They did pay the cost into my Wallapop wallet.
Second package I sent to a buyer was not receipted at drop off point so I took pictures of the place and time and advised buyer package was on the way. The package was not acknowledged by the courier. I emailed Wallapop 3 times with pictures of the label, package with label, drop off point and drop off time and date, and claimed the insurance but received no replies. I have have lost the value of the item sold. I will not send any other items and have lost faith in this being a professional business.

Update: Wallapop has done it again. They have rejected my request to return an item to a seller because it corresponds with the description. It did not. I sent a photo showing that it is the wrong size. Again wallapop has given my money away.
Wallapop buyer protection does not work!
I ordered an item and it arrived incomplete. I opened a dispute. The seller said he would send the missing part so Wallapop closed the dispute.
Why would they believe the seller when he has already been dishonest? I presume they gave him my money already. The seller didn't send anything so he basically just stole about 43€ of my money (the cost of replacing the missing part) It's madness that Wallapop immediately closes disputes rather than wait for the buyer to confirm it is resolved.

I have been waiting for a response for my refunds!! I didn’t even purchase anything, the sellers declined my purchases and I still haven’t received any response nor money back! I may have to write a police report for these matters. I have all of my screen shots of purchases that were declined. This is so frustrating! Thief’s!

Experienced the exact same bizarre login issues experience detailed by others here. So despite wanting to buy something from Wallapop and sell some of my own items, I physically cannot and will have to use a competitor. All because Wallapop cannot get themselves together to develop a functional website that actually allows users to login and use the service - surely a fairly basic requirement? Pathetic.

Wallapop’s service is nothing short of a nightmare. I bought an item that was supposedly brand new, but when it arrived, it was clearly used and damaged. To add insult to injury, I could only open the package three days after delivery, just outside Wallapop’s 48-hour complaint window.
When I tried to seek help through their support system, I encountered an absolute mess. My support chats mysteriously disappeared from the app, making it impossible to track my issues. Despite receiving notifications about responses, I couldn’t access them due to app errors that conveniently made the chats vanish into thin air.
After relentless attempts, I did manage to get a response, but it was shockingly unhelpful. They insisted that I needed to negotiate a solution with the seller, completely disregarding the fact that the delayed delivery was the sole reason I missed the complaint window. This is not just poor customer service; it’s a blatant disregard for fairness and customer satisfaction.
Adding insult to injury, their signup with Apple experience is abysmal, as it’s not supported on their website or in their support system (Zendesk). On top of that, my support requests seem to disappear into a black hole, as I haven’t received any emails regarding them.
Wallapop’s actions in my case can only be described as theft, and their app and service are unequivocally subpar. Avoid this platform at all costs. It’s a den of ineptitude, unfairness, and a total lack of respect for their users.
They blocked my account with no reason and still hold 500 Euro of me...They now do not even respond to me, what a scam.
