Went to the wrong house build site, so glad we did, as bought a Horizon Wain Hawthorne home 6 months ago.
We have previously bought 3 new builds, in our view this home is of a far better quality, loved the design, style, fixtures and fittings, makes use of all the space.

The build site is very respectful of the occupants, with little or no disruption, while the build is progressing.

Darren the sales manager is very helpful, friendly, professional, if there was anything he wasn't sure of he didn't hesitate to help.

Have to give a shout out to Andy the site manager, BRILLIANT any snagging issues, Andy was on top of it, nothing to much trouble, always available, have a problem he is there sorting it.

If moving again would definitely consider buying another wain Home

From the beginning Michael has been an absolute star. He kept me informed from day one while I was looking for a property on this development. He has been professional, knowledgeable and willing to help me from start to finish. He’s a credit to the company and a pleasure to deal with.

Paul was absolutely brilliant! We’d just discovered a leak which needed sorting as soon as possible. He came out within 5 minutes and fixed our problem for us first time. Extremely happy with his service for us.

From our first visit to the sales office we knew this was were we wanted to live. Ashley is fantastic and made the whole process seamless, he didn’t mind chasing for updates to get the purchase through on time and kept us informed all the way. Ashley has continued to check in and make sure everything is going well, he really is a credit to Wain Homes.

We have had a couple of snags, nothing major, but the team respond instantly, nobody knows what is going to happen in a new build house until someone actually lives in it!

We have only been here two weeks but we love living here already.

We are absolutely delighted with our new build home at Kingsley Manor by Wain Homes. From start to finish, the entire process has been smooth and seamless, thanks in large part to Ashley in the sales office. He has been fantastic throughout—always helpful, responsive, and supportive, making what can often be a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable.

On site, Ian and Danny have also been brilliant. They’ve been attentive and quick to address a few minor snags, none of which have impacted our day-to-day living. It’s reassuring to know they genuinely care about making sure everything is just right.

We truly love living here already—the house feels like home, and the development itself is a great place to be. We’re especially looking forward to enjoying everything even more in the summer months.

I would give an Extra Star if I could the after service from Danny and his Team since we moved in to our Foxglove as been 1st Class - they really do go above and beyond to make your move & settling in period run smoothly.

FRIENDLY and officiant sales advisor and quick response to issues after moving in

The bungalow we bought was built to a high standard. There were a few minor things but were rectified straight away. The site staff have been really helpful and gone out off their way to help residents settle into their new build homes. Michael the sales person was very thorough and went through everything prior to purchasing our property and was able to recommended the property which met our requirements.
All in all it has been a positive experience and would highly recommend Wain Homes.

Michael at the Hambleton site kept us informed of houses for sale on a regular basis. Once we had selected our new house he gave us frequent updates of the build plan ensuring everything was kept on track.
Michael even during busy times had time for us and no request was too much trouble - Wain homes key asset.

We bought our new house at Waterside Meadows and moved in Dec 2026. It was a long process due to our buyers having issues selling their house. However, Michael (sales) did everything he could to ensure we got our dream home in the end.
At first we were sceptical about buying a new build after hearing of all the horror stories, but we can honestly say this is the best decision we’ve made.
The build of the house was fantastic. The snagging list inside the property was reasonable with no major issues. Kieran (site manager) got started with the snagging straight away and has managed to sort out most issues and responds straight away.
The grass outside the front and side of the house has been ruined by a contractor, but we’re in the process of wain homes sorting this out, once completed it will look great.
I would recommend wain homes to anyone looking at buying a new build house.

Nickie and Rich are Wain Homes’ greatest assets. If you ever want genuine customer service these two are the people to go to.
We have built up a fantastic relationship with Nickie and Rich and trust them implicitly. They have been part of our journey and they go above and beyond to help. They both provide not only exceptional customer service, but empathy; something I believe has been lost in most avenues today.
To top it off, they are both genuinely lovely people. 11/10 human beings. Diligent, honest, integral and just a pleasure to deal with.

Attic lights left on since we have been moved in!
We saw Paul and Gary near our house and they both offered to sort it out straight away.
Really friendly and did not hestitate one bit.

Build quality is fantastic!! The shining lights to our experience were George (sales rep)and Shingi (site manager) who made our first visit, to the sign off to customer care fantastic.
Shingi was extremely accommodating when it came to fixing snags, I had to book time off work for it to all be done in one week and this was not a problem for him. Shingi made sure all the work was completed and to a great standard. I would highly recommend to friends and family.
