Laughable!

Laughable!! Saw one of the hundreds of commercials they are running about buying cars and decided to see what they would give me for my 2002 Lexus SC430. This car is commonly for sale for $10k to $20k. KBB is over $10k. Did the website and they said they needed to evaluate more. Keep in mind, this car is in good shape. I got their offer today... $200.00. Not $20,000.00, not $2,000.00, TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!! What a joke!! Even their biggest competitor offered $4,000.00. Don't waste your time!!

SLEAZY LIARS

THIS COMPANY IS SLEAZY AND THEY ARE LIARS. Bought 2021 Jeep Renegade for $30k. Got it and took to the Jeep dealer for state safety inspection. The brakes were rusted, grooved and rutted and would not pass inspection. Required $1300 brake job. Vroom said they would try to get it covered for me, then played games, ghosted me, then I finally got the one the phone and they said they could not and would not do anything for me. They were sleazy throughout the process. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VROOM!!!!

Smooth Vroom Purchase Soured by Lender Incompetence

The actual experience of finding a vehicle and buying it was fairly decent, my problems were with the incompetent lending groups that work with vroom. For context, I use allotments to pay for my rent, car notes, bills, etc., so that I don't have to worry about them. The rest of my income gets sent to my checking. Every single one of the lending groups I spoke with, were absolutely incapable of understanding that the allotments are part of my pay. They believed that all of my bills and rent are paid with the money that gets sent to my checking account, after allotments. They just couldn't understand and refused to believe that they are wrong about calculating my income. While my experience with vroom itself was good, it was heavily tainted with the sheer incompetence of other companies and groups that work with them, it was an uphill battle the whole time and going through with purchasing a vehicle wasn't worth the trouble.

Worst car buying experience in my 37…

Worst car buying experience in my 37 year history. Muiltple imperfections that were not listed. Large issues with the car that cost thousands to repair and vroom offered a fraction of what they should be liable for! They’ve not paid off my loan of the vehicle I transferred and they STILL have not started my registration transfer. STAY AWAY!

Buying a car from Vroom has been a nightmare

If I could leave 0 star review, I would. Vroom is literally the worst company I have ever worked with, particularly with regards to purchasing a car. They don't perform any sort of inspection or even quality check of the vehicles that they sell, despite what their website says. I was delivered a car that had a broken trunk (would not open), oil leak, needed a new battery (wrong one was installed), all 4 tires were below the legal limit of what is allowed to be sold in Washington State, and more. Upon inspection of my vehicle at the mechanics shop, it was even determined that there was some interior mildew and rodent festation of the vehicle, and when it was dropped off to me it was full of dog hair. In trying to work with them to get the repairs arranged for any of the mechanical issues, they have been difficult and cheap, not seeming to care that they literally sold me a car that has tires below the legal tread limit that are allowed to be sold. Will never work with Vroom again and highly advise anyone considering working with Vroom to move on and choose literally ANY other dealer, online or otherwise.

If there were zero stars

If there were zero stars, that is what I would have checked. Worst car buying transaction I've experienced in my 45 years of buying cars. The CUE system didn't work when it was delivered. It still doesn't work and I've been on the phone with Vroom and Safeguard for countless hours. I'm exhausted and replacing the CUE with my own funds.

We stayed as a family group at Sation…

We stayed as a family group at Sation house Upper Poppleton York. What a fantastic house, it was so spacious and clean, the standard of everything was 10/10 . The high ceilings made it so grand, everything we needed was on hand. The downstairs bedroom and on suite bathroom suited me because I'm disabled, the family didn't have to fight over the best bedroom upstairs because the were both fabulous, the bathroom was huge. The kitchen was modern and had all the amenities we needed. We would all definitely stay again.

Do your research. Stay away from this company.

If you’re thinking about buying a vehicle from this dealership, just know this. In 2021 they sold the kid in New Jersey a vehicle that they did not own and actually belonged to somebody else. They didn’t tell him why they would not send him the title or a license plate, and he just had to keep begging them and not getting a response. Eventually, his car got impounded because it wasn’t registered. It’s been sitting in an impound lot for two years collecting fees. Luckily, this kid got an attorney and is suing the crap out of this company. I am just now coming to terms with the fact that I was stolen from and lied to. I’ve written to the CEO of the company and the only people that you will get to talk to are the customer service agents who don’t know what day of the week it is much less what’s going on with your vehicle. And unless you look up the CEOs phone number and email address on the Internet(it is there) customer service will tell you that they do not have a CEO. But tbh, I wouldn’t waste your time. Ceo doesn’t give a crap either. Before I wrap this up a couple more things to consider in 2021 alone, the Better Business Bureau received over 6000 complaints all similar in nature and the attorney general in the state that this so-called company operates in sued them. I’ve never felt so stupid in my entire life for being so deceived and robbed from by a reputable company. I don’t care if you have to pay $2000 more to your local dealership it is not worth saving a little bit of money to use them because you will never get your vehicle. You will never get your refund. You will never get an answer. Shop elsewhere. You’ll thank me later.

Long story short- I purchased a car…

Long story short- I purchased a car from them and nobody called while I was waiting for delivery to inform me that they sold my car to someone else. Now everyone from customer service to the ceo is ignoring me and apparently doesn’t believe I’m owed an explanation or refund. Filing theft charges today and calling BBB and state’s attorney office. aDO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!

I'm still not through the process…

I'm still not through the process completely but, I've had a bad experience already. They got money from my finance company told me they would have the car checked in the hub right after it was cleared, it's been almost a week and the car kept telling me pending sale and that I owed money, I've already got full cover insurance and a payment coming up but no car, I threw a fit on them today due to the car is just 250 miles from me, they have no clue when a carrier is going to get it and deliver it, after I threw a fit they say my finalization was done today, so my delivery date has yet again been pushed out 4 days, it's been a headache honestly, I love the looks of the car and I'm hoping when it gets here the headache will be worth it. The csrs I have dealt with have been very polite but I feel like I've talked to 50 diff people and they have assigned 2 diff people to deal with this sale but neither were very easy to get in contact with. I won't take away from the workers due to me being in a call center before myself you don't get a lot of training before they throw you to the wolves but, I do feel like the company could make the systems easier for them to use and they would update more often. Cross fingers the car is fine and is delivered soon, I'm to far in to go back now.

Don't do it

Do not buy a car from here. They are having hundreds of lawsuits for a reason. I'm the idiot that thought the "buying process" ran smooth enough that it should be ok. Wrong.
Buying a car from here is easy, obtaining the car is a whole other nightmare. Everytime you call you can't understand what the person on the line is even saying, you get different stories and timelines everytime. It's absolutely ridiculous, we paid 1,100 to have a car delivered that we begged to just go get since it was only 8 hours away, but it's against their policy. Called the hub and left several messages, no one ever answers, and no one ever calls back. No one knows where the car is, when it will be here, or what they can do about it. We are day 13 in, and ready to cancel. I'm completely over the entire experience, and the car.
Don't walk away,RUN. Completely absurd.

Poor/incompetent service

I am utterly shocked at how poor their customer service team is. The car did not arrive in the condition promised. Their staff dropped the ball with every step and created delays and unnecessary headaches. I had to follow up constantly and even then, Vroom still fell through on each promise. I would rather hop dealership to dealership than deal with their incompetency. This was the worst car-buying experience I have ever been subjected to. Do not recommend.

Kinda of drawn out

The process was a little drawn out and seemed as if everyday something else was needed. I felt like getting the car was a little bit longer then should be. They said it had been taken to the hub and then the hub had to do this and that. Just seemed drawn out. It could be because nobody wants to hold a job. I would say I had a better experience at carvana. But overall my Tahoe is nice and doesn’t seem to have problems
