The lessons on VR Creator Academy are solid if a little dated. The community is Awesome, and I know Justin has reengaged and is working to take things to the next level.

Great VR development course
Signed up for the course even tho it wasn't finished. I found the pace of the videos great and it contains everything in the one workflow to help with VR development. No more endless searching through YouTube channels looking for content as everything to date is in one place and is a great learning tool. Loads of other great features and content like weekly calls and the community there is super supportive and helpful. Answering questions or helping out with pointing in the right direction. Overall well worth the fee for what you get
Great course, instructor and community!
In the interest of honesty, let me preface this by saying that I am, indeed, an affiliate. But I will NOT include my affiliate link here--and would also recommend this course if I weren't one!
I'm thrilled to have come onboard with VR Creators Academy. I just happened to hear about it as Justin was starting the course. It has been amazing so far.
My goal is to create games in VR, but there was nothing out there that took "newbies" like me from zero to professional. Consequently the focus on the "journey" here is just right for me.
I really like the bite-sized videos (the longest one I've experienced, so far, has been about 36 minutes but they're typically more like 12 minutes long, fitting into a workday really well). The weekly meetups are great; particularly the code reviews as that tends to be my stumbling block. So far I'm learning a lot about making a game interactive, with our County Fair scene.
A huge plus is the community aspect of VCA. People are great and are encouraged from Day One to be kind and helpful to one another. We just had a Game Jam, using the skills learned, and I'm looking forward to gaining new skills to participate more fully next year. In addition, there are meetups and our interactive discussion board.
Justin is also a great teacher; able to put concepts into plain language and very patient about answering questions. He gives the general impression that he's having as much fun teaching VR as the rest of us are, learning with him!
Really great amount of knowledge
Really great amount of knowledge. Great preparation and people in forum are really helpful.
Defenately would recommend :)
VR Creator Academy
Virtual reality technologies are everywhere entering our lives. My first experience with virtual reality was in a virtual reality club. After that, it became very interesting for me to try to understand this technology. On YouTube, I watched many different videos of bloggers, one of which was Justin. Unfortunately, at first I couldn't find accessible and understandable material, so I had to study a lot myself, by trial and error. When Justin announced the idea of creating an academy, I confidently invested money and time in his idea, like many others. Having already gone part of the way in studying Unity and virtual reality, I can say with confidence that I made the right decision. The material is presented in an accessible form for me, excellent speakers with interesting and practical examples. Grouping by sections. And separately, I would like to mention this community of enthusiastic and talented people who are ready to share knowledge and ideas.
Justin is an outstanding lecturer and…
Justin is an outstanding lecturer and trainer, he knows his topic thoroughly and touches the topics in depth. Sometimes even more than others in the field like code monkey, Weimann and so forth. His course is absolutely beginner friendly, the community active as athletes and the content is made in high quality as you would expect it. Def can recommend his course.
A fantastic course
A fantastic course, full of tips, tricks and helpful knowledge that will take you from a Unity/VR absolute beginner to a fully fledged pro-developer. The community is extremely friendly and helpful.
Excellent course for VR devs
Excellent course! Justin and his team are great teachers with extensive experience in VR. The course is comprehensive and constantly being expanded. An additional plus is the community and online meetings.
Worth it! Great course & community!
I was an early adopter of this course during its initial release phase. My favourite part about this course has actually been the community aspect and support which is super nice to have.
The course content is mostly there now, which is well split up into good-length sections, and it is clear what is being shown in each. There are many different subcourses which cover just about everything you could need and you can get help from the community with anything not covered and sometimes that is then added to the course itself when suggested showing the teachers are listening to feedback well and also interacting too. This is further evident with the frequent calls and meetups that are hosted for members to access.
This course is better than any other course for its promise of continual updates and content refreshes to adapt to a fast-changing technology. You know you are getting the latest content and not buying something that will be out of date and useless within two years like with most Udemy courses for instance.
