please do not engage Vpost service if you are -
1. not prepare to pay a high cost for shipping
2. slow delivery and response (3 working days to response and to check a package shipping status after 1 week).

just for info, a package that weight less than 0.08kg the default shipping via AIR from Malaysia to Singapore cost S$23.40 inclusive of GST and it take more than 7 days still unable to reach on time without any update to the customer.

Hence, only if you are willing to pay a high cost for shipping and willing to wait then you may seriously consider using Vpost service.

Horrible is an understatement.

Horrible is an understatement.

I had to give up so many of my items, as it'll cost me more to divert it somewhere else, or even to return to sender!
The amount of money spend on my items and all I can do is to see it go to waste, my other orders also cost so much to ship over!
Total rip off!
You guys should just shut down this operation!!!!

AVOID VPOST

Totally not worth it to engage vPost! My items was categorized under restricted/hazardous item as it contains alcohol and to redirect them i have to pay SGD92.00 for a USD34's items. THIS IS TOTALLY RIPPED OFF. Shipping locally within USA doesn't cost that much yo! I have to resort in giving up my items!

Stay away!!

VPOST does not deserve the 1 star rating even!!

Terrible and total ripped off!! Although its advertised as 40% off shipping from China as an attractive promo, i still ended up paying for $900 plus shipping charges and i feel its way overpriced. The part about consolidated shipping is also misleading and this is not ethical. Taobao shipping does that for lower shipping cost but this varies from vpost. I have also checked with their officer twice whether they accept some items and they ensure me they would however their warehouse refuse to take in the item and i can't even have my full refund.

DO NOT ENGAGE VPOST

I have recently used vpost because ezbuy no longer offers the option, and im rudely shocked by the shipping fees. $17 frigging dollars for 3 brow pencils that cost me only $11 to buy. Total cost of items is sgd 143, and total shipoing cost is sgd 122. Are you serious? What kind of customer will ever engage you again when you just doubled the price of purchase?

The measuring process seriously requires some auditing. I am unable to believe some items are packed so large that the volumetric weight is so high.

Strongly do not recommend Vpost

I saw the 40% discount on china shipping to Singapore on Facebook ad. Tot of trying ( I usually use my own china shipper ) I wouldn’t recommend & will not use Vpost again . Unlike other shipper , add total item and bill total weight or volume . V post charge min S$5/item despite my item is super tiny . Seriously , 1 pair of earring .. imagine , I buy an item for S$1, shipping is S$5. I mean this weightless item could be easily add to the whole lot . But V post choose to suck my blood dry this Christmas . Sob sob . Imagine 10 earrings from 10 seller , means S$50 postage when it could be S$5 (1 time charge) Wahhh , lucky got 40% off else I go bang the wall . However , please note !!! Even with 40% , the shipping fees still freaking ex .. ok la ! Never mind , take it as my Christmas present for u . Verdict : Please do not try .... I’m sad this Christmas . :(

SCAM!

My wife ordered some stuff from Taobao during 12.12 sale and decided to use Vpost as she saw that there was an ongoing Vpost promotion for shipments from CN to SG.

2 out of 9 packages were deemed to be 10kg, One of the package is for 6-8 packets of maternity pads and 2 feminine undergarments which is totally impossible to add up to 10kg! My wife spoke to the customer relation officer asking if it was possible to repackage to a smaller box to reduce the shipping cost (she guessed that the original box was perhaps too big). To her dismay, Vpost did not offer repacking services. So she had no choice but to pay $100 shipping charge for some pads and undergarments that cost less than $50!

Not sure how they measure the parcels/packages to determine the shipping charges, but will NEVER EVER use Vpost again! Advise to avoid at all costs!

Very bad experience with VPOST

Very bad experience with VPOST. Ordered a underwater drone during promotion and only to find out that VPOST considered this to be a dangerous cargo and claimed it is above 100 WH, after the spec classification with them that the craft is below 100 WH. I thought that it will be fine, however only to find out now that they consider this as a DRONE and will not be able to be ship via air or sea.
So have to pay VPOST for admin and extra postage and redirect to another 3rd party vendor.
This is a very painful and expensive experience, in the end the item is going cost much more that any gain from the saving from the promotion. My word of advice, read the fine print from VPOST, lot of items are not able to be ship.

Vpost is USELESS

Vpost is the Customs officer in full force, practically nothing can be shipped over just read their full list of prohibited items :

Sanitizers (like why - don't you want a clean and hygienic enviroment?)
Any external battery/powerbank for smartphones or tablets devices (no kindles!)
Intoxicating liquors (tax issues)
Tobacco products (why not?)
Motor vehicles (who ships these anyway?)
Any type of standalone batteries (batteries are improving by the day, they have now stopped the dendrite problem)
Any battery/batteries that is packed in the same package but separated from the device. (WTH? lots of devices come with extra batteries to facilitate proper functioning!)
Alcohol products and beverages (Item(s) would be discard at Origin and unable to process for returns or redirect to another address) (tax issues)
Audio Speakers (WHY???)
Counterfeit goods (how do you know it is counterfeit or not? Everything is copied from China nowadays anyway under a different brand)
Diamonds (why not? to the benefit the DeBeers Cartel?)
Electronic device which contains battery purchased from ebay/ individual seller (I don't get this...)
Engine oils (pretty soon useless when EVs take over)
Essential oils, diffuser oils, fragrance oil and perfume oil (seriously???)
Items that are not labeled in English (Dietary supplements/ Cosmetics/ Food) (come on, not everyone speaks English)
Any food, supplement, drug or cosmetic that has been issued a Consumer Safety Advisory Warning by Authority (HSA or etc) (OK this is tricky, needs a supplementary list)
Any unidentifiable material, substance or chemical. (like practically every plastic substance on earth is undentifiable in its compound composition)
Fuels, gasoline and gas torches (why not? how are these shipped anyway?)
Flammable and toxic content products (e.g. products with Minoxidil, zinc oxide, Rosemary Oil and etc. (Rosemary oil is toxic - don't we grow the plants over here?)
Firearms (or parts thereof) (understandable)
Imitation tobacco products (e.g. electronic cigarettes, etc) (why do you care except for the recent vaping death (from chinese products)
Infectious substances (how do the drug companies ship these in anyway?)
Ink Cartridges (what's the problem with this? taking profits away from the big boys?)
Laser apparatus such as laser pointers that are found to have emission powers (ok... all LEDs are blinding nowadays)
Lighters with or without fuel/fluids (sigh...)
Magnets (nothing wrong with magnets!!!)
Munitions of war (undestandable)
Meat or animal extracts (seriously even jerky / biltong / like why not?)
Seeds / live plant (no logic behind this)
Nail polish and nail polish removers (Really? Reason???)
Narcotic drugs (understandable)
Pornographic materials (in the age of the internet??)
Perishable foods (e.g., cheese, yoghurt, eggs) (understandable)
Processed foods more than 5kg and above SGD100 (food products that are not classified as meat, seafood or fresh fruits and vegetables) (what's wrong with storing some dried food in case of emergency?)
Precious metals and Gemstones (what's your problem? Is aluminum now considered precious metal?)
Paper currency, coins, credit cards, cheques and stamps (Item(s) would be discard at Origin) (is privacy a thing of the past?)
Perfumes, colognes, eau de toilette and fragrance sprays (afraid of stinking up the cargo?)
Perfume samples (Item(s) would be discard at Origin and unable to process for returns or redirect to another address) (seriously???)
Radioactive materials (FYI even granite is radioactive)
Sprays, aerosol cans and compressed gas cylinders (boring!!)
Weapons Swords Knives (understandable, but what about chopping knives?)

What can you send? NOTHING!

Vpost - something fishy going on

Very bad service with vpost. I had an expensive parcel sent from Amazon UK to my vpost address in UK. It never appeared on my dashboard so I contacted them and they said it was not delivered. Kindly Amazon sent it again and vpost lost it again. For both parcels Amazon informed me it had been "signed for by Daniel". Vpost fobbed me off for weeks repeating the same thing: we need proof of signature (which Amazon didn't have). So I keep asking whether Daniel works in the reception at the warehouse. If he does they've 'lost' the parcels. I find it very strange that when I send 'non-desirable' parcels they get delivered but when I send a valuable and 'desirable' parcel it goes missing! Nearly 5 weeks on and still no answer!!!

Very upset

Why is their process of package inspection so messed up? After payment of shipping is made, they then notified its a 'dangerous item'. Lol how do they inspect the mails? So last minute. Plus they are incapable of providing a good reasoning, even some guidelines seem to be asserted out of thin air... IATA, US federal govt, sg customs and ICA dont even have such rules... now im forking $21 to return an item that's totally fine

Irreversible once mistake is made ?

Below is what make me to change from VPost to other forwarders.
Initially, I have chosen economy shipping and was ready for payment but I went to the promotion page and then I used the return key back to the payment page.
I did not realised that the shipping method had changed to standard shipping instead of economy shipping and proceeded to make payment.
After receiving msg from credit card company and realised the mistake, contacted VPost immediately to cancel this transaction.
I have an online chat with customer service officer but the issue can't be resolved. The customer officer mentioned that the transaction cannot be cancelled citing Company business model/policy does not allowed for cancellation after payment.
I found it is ridiculous and inflexible.
How can a consumer based corporation do not have cancellation or reversible policy ?
Guess I am the only one customer making this mistake...

If only I could give -1 star

If I could give -1 star, I would. I've had multiple negative experiences with vPost and I will not use them again after this last ordeal. I would suggest you guys not to either.

I always check the items I order are not on their prohibited list. I purchased a chemical-free non-hazardous item which wasn't listed on their prohibited list - yet they claimed it as dangerous. First, they labelled it wrong and called it fuel. I was shocked, as I know I didn't purchase fuel. So I asked them to check.

Then, they labelled my item a fertilizer - which is not true and they refused to acknowledge this no matter the documents I sent to support this. Even the name of the item indicates it is not a fertilizer. And none of them could explain to me, which part or what proof they have to state that my item is a fertilizer.

It took them days to respond each time, and the whole ordeal going back and forth lasted more than a month. By then the window to return my item is over and it has gone to waste. All my items were also delayed.

This wasn't the first time either. I just don't know why I gave them too many chances. Now never again, so much time and money wasted.

Please do not use vPost service. It's lousy, unreliable, dishonest, inaccurate, slow and expensive. For the cost they charge you for their services etc, I don't think it's worth it. They even addressed me by another person's name once in one of their replies, how can that even happen?

I'm utterly disappointed with vPost. It's been such a painful experience. Seriously - do NOT use vPost.

Terrible Customer Service

I used vPost for the first time last month and had 2 parcels shipped to their USA facility. One parcel was received and shipped to me in Singapore without any issue. However, the other parcel was shown to be received by vPost on November 15th but vPost did not show any receipt on my account.

Issues like this will occur and I have no problem as long as they are resolved efficiently. Unfortunately my experience with them was the total opposite. First of all, there is no email address or contact number on their website for you to contact them by. Secondly, the chat app for you to contact them connects you to a call centre in India that is not customer friendly at all. They person on the other end is slow to respond and has a set script that they dare not deviate from.

In my case, they asked for me to send them the invoice of the purchase and proof of delivery. I duly sent them the email I received from the vendor showing invoice, tracking number and the date my item was delivered. What did I get in return? Another email asking for exactly the same documents that I had already sent. I tell them I had already sent them the documents in my first email and since then I have heard nothing. It's been over 10 days and despite a follow-up email I have still not had a reply back. vPost - I will never use you guys again!!!!

Terrible experience with Vpost

Terrible experience with Vpost. Shipped it for the first time and chose the most expensive service to be delivered in 4-6 days and paid $100 for it. However, their 'asap' seems to take weeks and claimed that they had 'done' their best and nothing was resolved. It is sooo expensive and bad service. Don't expect much from their service and if they do delay or something happened to in the process of delivering. They basically expect you to absorb your loss and since they claimed that Vpost is always right! So for those who have not been to the army and want to experience what it is like, go for their service. Guarantee similar experience.
