Outstanding hardware, stone age software
TM6 & TM5 user since 2012
The Thermomix hardware is outstanding, but the Cookidoo recipe experience is far behind modern standards. Personalisation is weak (vegetarian user still regularly shown meat/fish), recipe duplication is excessive, and discovery feels outdated compared to leading cooking platforms like the New York Times Cooking app. The lack of meaningful in-app feedback loops also means ratings are not helping improve recommendations. I have raised this several times previously but only received copy paste seeming responses. Your request for feedback in today’s newsletter prompted me to try one more time.

I can completely see why this would be frustrating, especially if you are still being shown meat and fish recipes as a vegetarian user and feel that discovery and recommendations are not keeping up with what you would expect from a modern platform. I also understand your point about recipe duplication and the lack of meaningful feedback loops.

So pleased I upgraded
Having originally purchased a TM6 3 years ago and been very pleased with it, I was initially reticent to replace it so soon with the TM7 model, but my husband watched a demo and told me “I had to have it” so I upgraded. I’m so glad I did. The TM7 is so much quieter at lower speeds and much easier for me to take apart and put together with arthritic hands. The insulated bowl cover keeps food hot for much longer and allows me to lift and hold the whole bowl without burning myself and the whole process of using it seems much less “clunky”. The larger screen is very clear and the ability to be able to use it even with wet hands is a fantastic upgrade. Great machine.

I have had a Thermomix for over 15 years...
I have had a Thermomix for over 15 years now (starting with TM31 & now a TM6) & wouldn't be without it - absolute reliable kitchen workhorse for healthy family cooking in a busy household.
It takes the time & effort out of making 'everyday' food from scratch, and gives me that extra functionality when going for something more complicated or fancy!
Bread, tomato sauce, baked beans, cakes, steamed buns, bechamel, bolognaise, porridge etc etc etc.
I worried that I wouldn't use it enough to justify the outlay, but it's paid for itself many, many times over nevermind needing fewer appliances. If in doubt, get a demo & see what you think!

Thermomix client for over 20 years…
I’ve been a Thermomix client for over 20 years (TM31) way before Cookidoo. I have had every single model since then and at the moment have a TM6 and a TM7 in my kitchen.
I never liked cooking and Thermomix helped me with that and has supported me to be able to feed my family meals cooked from scratch and with love. the TM7 is the Thermomix like never before and I do believe that every house should have one. 💚

Bought my TM in 2009 Still going strong
Bought my TM in 2009 and it is still going strong. Just wonderful for all cooking but especially easy for rice, rice puds, and soups. I bought a lot of the books available at the time and just love going through them to remind myself how easy it is to make pates, sauces, and the best Victoria Sponge cake ...ever. Also great for creme caramel - you name it my TM can do it!!!

The Thermomix is incredibly important…
The Thermomix is incredibly important to me and my family. It has completely changed the way I cook and has made my daily kitchen work so much easier. It saves me valuable time, helps me prepare healthy and delicious meals, and allows me to spend more quality time with my family instead of standing in the kitchen for hours.
One of the things I love most about the Thermomix TM7 is how quiet it is. Compared to other kitchen appliances, it is remarkably silent, making cooking a much more pleasant experience, even when the family is relaxing nearby.

I am very happy with my Thermomix and have been using it for several months now. It has become an essential part of my kitchen and is used almost every day.
The results are consistently excellent. The baked goods are amazing – breads, cakes, and pastries turn out beautifully every time. Soups are delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly smooth. What I particularly like is that the Thermomix is not just for people who don't know how to cook. Even if you enjoy cooking and have experience in the kitchen, it is a fantastic tool that helps save time while still allowing you to be creative and prepare high-quality meals.
So far, I have not needed to contact customer service because the machine has been working perfectly and I have not experienced any issues.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my Thermomix and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, versatile, and time-saving kitchen appliance.

Updated my TM 5 for a TM 7, wouldn't have thought anything was better than the TM 5. However the TM 7 is better than perfect with it's integration to cookidoo. Couldnt cope with out either and the daughter lovers the TM 5 she was gifted by us

Everyone should have a Thermomix
Everyone should have a Thermomix in their kitchen! I use mine every day! Guided cooking with Cookidoo app amd 100,000 recipes you are spoilt for choice!
I brought my TM7 camping - made waffles, spaghetti, lemonade and few other things - it was so easy! We had it on our caravan holiday as well - "marry me chicken", waffles and mojitos after kids went to bed!
Money saving and most importantly you know what you eat! Food made from scratch with your personal chef 💓
