Disgusted
Have tried 3 times to cancel a subscription I never knowingly signed up to. Keep saying they don’t recognise my details but have taken £49.
Now raised a dispute with my bank. This is shameful and stressful
Update : bank cancelled my card and refunded money - useful lesson learnt!

Absolute Scam.
Absolute Scam.
I left a review about 6 months ago saying this company scammed me and charged 30 pounds a month until I noticed it in my bank account. This is the same thing that so many other users on this website have left.
When I checked now - I found my review was gone!! Because voochr asked for more documentation, and because apparently I didn't provide it, my review was taken down.
Even though it was the same experience as so many other users on this site.
DO NOT TRUST the 4 star review of this company on trustpilot!! All the bad reviews are gradually removed and only the fake good ones are left.
I hope this company is sued at one point and no longer exists.

Scammers
Just had a £29.99 transaction from them on my card but I’ve never even visited their website and have definitely never signed up to them!
No idea how they sneakily managed this one but what a scam.

They keep trying to take money from my card , after I made a purchase on another site. I have tried to contact them on several occasions but I never get a response. Luckily my card provider is very good at spotting these attempts to take money, and have blocked. Be very very wary.

Noted a pending transaction of £29.99 on my credit card paid to Voochr. Not a clue what this related to. Spoke with my card company who advised me that it might be a fraudulent transaction. I was advised to contact Voochr and request a full refund which I did, keeping full records. I used the contact info on their web site. The card company are on standby and will attempt to recover this payment using a chargeback if Voochr don’t refund me.
Voochr have since said they are processing a full refund but this may take 10 working days to arrive. Hardly a prompt payment!
Voochr have thus far failed to specifically indicate how they obtained my personal information and how I gave approval for them to process this and charge my credit card.
Fortunately I have now tracked down what has happened as coincidentally I took a screenprint during checkout as I was using Quidco for the purchase so wanted this as a record.
I recently bought an item seeking to use a small discount code located using a Google search. At checkout, just above the pay button, there is some cleverly worded, sized and positioned text referring to a trial period and support T&Cs for the Voochr services. You are not required to click on any radio buttons to accept these terms, but by clicking on what is titled as the pay button it would seem you are automatically enrolled in a Voochr trial period. This pay button says “Pay £x”, x being the cost of the item you are buying and not any Voochr subscription.
Now you may say you should have read everything before clicking on the pay button, but at best the screen is poorly designed or perhaps it’s cleverly designed!
You are not required to give specific consent to the Voochr trial and their T&Cs. Most reputable sites do that, for example using radio buttons that have to be selected or they might use wording such as “By clicking on pay you hereby agree to……”.
Judging by other reviews there are many others who have been caught out like me. I hope this review helps others recover funds where individuals have had absolutely no intention of signing up to any of the Voochr services.
As for Voochr, please make the whole checkout process more transparent, there’s plenty of scope to do that! It would just be the right thing to do if you want any credibility!
Added post Voochr response:
The text messages and emails were received, but they all look like classical phishing messages with links to click on. Hence these can be easily dismissed, particularly when you have no recollection of the services referenced.
To be clear, the core issue here is the transparency during the checkout process and whether the customer is made sufficiently aware of the services and charges they are signing up to.
As stated above, in my view, there is plenty of scope to enhance the checkout process.
Since my review, Voochr have refunded all my charges.

What a blatant SCAM
What a blatant SCAM.
I purchase a pair of shoes through them and shipped them to France.
Then bombarded with constant texts msgs which became annoying, so get ignored. One of them stated
that my membership will be charged in 48H. I now discovered that they have been deducting £29.99 a month with further useless text msgs about “ you just planted a tree! each time I renew your voochr membership” as if I really had the option. I have now attempted to cancel this so-called membership.
My advice is to steer clear and not be duped by them.
(UPDATE: They have reached out with a promise to reimburse the fees)
