The most problematic company I know.
The most important problem, without which others can be avoided: home internet does not work after recharge automatically.
Because of this, I've found out
- that TOBi Chat doesn't work with non-Vodafone numbers both versions of Chat/Whatsup (with this service and don't need to)
- Some support numbers are just not available
- I can't do it through my personal account (which is very slow though empty).
- To connect the personal cabinet requires SMS confirmation, which is not received.
- To see an already existing service in the personal cabinet you need to confirm it, but it appears not immediately but after 24 hours.
- Telephone auto-advisor is a multi-stage hell.
- English support does not have its own number and it is not clear how to get to it.
I will definitely leave right after the end of my contract

I've left NOS (that is a terrible company) and singed up with Vodafone for internet, TV box and mobiles. I'm super happy with the services so far. It's been 6 months that everything is working just fine. I love the fast internet and TV channels where there's a lot of options to watch.
The customer service is good as well, they've helped me out with everything needed.

Hello,
I purchased a Vodafone Mobile Wi-fi R218h in Portugal. I asked the clerk at the Vodafone store several times if I would be able to use the device in other countries by just purchasing a Vodafone SIM, as I didn't know when I would be moving. I was assured several times that this device can be used anywhere as long as I use a Vodafone SIM.
I am now in Italy and the store clerk here is telling me that my device will not work outside of Portugal and I have to buy a new device and sign up with a bank account.
This is completely different than what I was assured when I purchased the device. I would not have purchased it without the ability to move and just purchase a SIM. The Vodafone representative knowingly and intentionally lied so that I would purchase the device.
These are poor seller tactics, Vodafone should be ashamed and this behavior should be illegal.

Absolutely worst service. After removing our ADSL because they decided to end ADSL and replacing with 5g until they can install fiber, the service is horrible. Slow wifi, bad reception on cable. Basically all services, even their app.
_______
4 months later they finally decided to connect Fibre and they scheduled an appointment. On the day, the tech team showed but they had the wrong work order and the wrong tech team without the competence to connect Fibre. So.... Back to waiting with still connection issues.
Vodafone customer service is getting worse. Total incompetence.

Terrible connection and customer service
I had a very frustrating experience with vodafone and would not recommend their services to anyone.
They offering unlimited plan for internet, and after some limit they make slow your internet speed it's a bulshit plan, what's the meaning of unlimited
The service itself was unreliable. I experienced constant disruptions and slow speeds. It was incredibly frustrating to deal with frequent outages, and even when I contacted them, they couldn't provide any solid explanation or timeframe for a fix. My internet would often disconnect for no apparent reason,
I would not recommend vodafone to anyone. There are far better alternatives out there that provide reliable service and better customer support. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere
I’ve been a Vodafone customer for years, but their shady practices have finally convinced me to look elsewhere.
Every time you make any change to your contract—whether it's moving to a new address or transferring ownership—Vodafone resets your loyalty period, locking you into another 24-month contract. The worst part? They force you to keep the same package (and price) or upgrade to a more expensive one. So much for customer flexibility! No wonder more and more people are switching to DIGI and other fairer providers.
But it gets worse. A while ago, I transferred my contract from one person to another, keeping the same address. Vodafone told me I had to start a new 24-month contract. Later, when I was chatting with their support, the agent casually mentioned that this wasn’t necessary at all! Turns out, the staff in the stores don’t tell you this because they get commissions for signing new contracts. Can you imagine? A complete scam.
This company has no respect for its customers. If you’re considering Vodafone, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere!
I changed from MEO to Vodafone thinking that Vodafone being an international company would be better managed.
I was wrong - service is actually worse than from MEO which I thought was impossible
They make it impossible to cancel! They automatically renew the forced limit contracts if you don't reach out to them to let them know that you want a flexible contract, which it's against the EU law!
Their prices are NOT competitive. For an unlimited package, they charge around 80 euros, where competition charges around 20-30.
They add a lot of costs for "roaming" when you're traveling across the EU (illegal again).
Oh and don't ever turn your phone on in any country outside of the EU, even without internet enabled, you will get a message within minutes that you have consumed 50 euros worth of roaming and with no limits, by the time you realize that your signal was on, you will have consumed hundred euros!
If you want to cancel, you have to pay all the remaining amount of the contract, and even then, they will try very hard for you not to return their $20 dollar box chinese TV equipment so that they can charge you 300 euros instead.
It's a horrendous company with terrible customer support, designed to trick and coerce clients into paying exorbitant fees for a low par service.
Stay away, check out the competition, it's ALWAYS better.
Terrible service led to the contract problems.
I am changing the apartment now. The guy at this office told me that my new address doesn't have Vodafone fiber so I can cancel the contract in another office.
Before going to the new office, I have signed up the contract with a new company that has fiber on my new address.
And when I came to cancel my Vodafone contract, they said that this might be a mistake and they have fiber on my new address so if I want to cancel it, I have to pay the fee.
Nobody wants to take responsibility and nobody can help me neither in any office, nor in support. I hope this is the last time I use Vodafone in my life.

1. I responded to an online special offer
2. I accepted the offer
3. Vodafone took EUR500 from my account as per the offer
4. I got successful confirmation with an order number
5. I was expecting an email confirming further details on the order, but did not get anything
6. After lots of effort I found a page to check the order, and saw 'ERROR' ...
7. After close to 40 whatsapp messages, and many Vodafone staff I managed to cancel the order
8. The refund will take a week now, which means I miss the special offer due to Vodafone's mistake
9. They are not interested in helping me to confirm the special offer due to their mistake
10. Cancel and rather choose MEO that has give me much better service.
Haha this is a joke page and joke at all . I do not recommend spend any minute to try do smth there . If you want to have more internet simply just throw away your used SIM card and just buy a new it will be much easier than trying to recharge it . The only nice thing about it it was just plug-and-play SIM card .
Have a nice eve.
Im living in Costa da Caparica. Working as a freelancer from home. The internet we have is the most expensive fiber connection available so speed and uptime should be great.
We have around 70up and down when it works but at least two times a mont it does not work. For me this is always costing me my income.
Thats why one star
The worst customer service. Technicians are scheduled to show up and don't. Cannot wait to get out of their contract
Customer Telephone numbers don't work..chat is non existent except tobi
It's only a matter of time before other networks like nos completely take over.
Vodafone.com head office in the UK and their Italian CEO don't seem to bothered about their customers in Portugal.
So just use another provider folks !
NO STARS..WHO DESIGNED THIS GOD AWFUL SITE...SOMEONE NEEDS SACKING...TRYING TO TOP UP AND ADD DATA IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.
VODAFONE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND GET SOME NEW MANAGEMENT IN PORTUGAL AND A WHOLE NEW SITE.SHOCKING..IM OFF TO NOS MOBILE !
Awful company to be a customer with.
Bought then cancelled before delivery a mobile phone.
Vodafone took the money and 3 weeks later still haven't refunded the money.
Customer service is staffed by people who are happy to thwart any attempt to resolve the issue, including lying to get rid of you. I've been told 5 times by different staff the money has or will be refunded. The money will go into my account on 15th or 30th of the month, or on Wednesdays and told it's been credited.
All of this clearly designed to stall the client.
I've become exasperated and have now written in the livro de reclamacao online and reported to ANACOM in Portugal.
Bad experience. Contracts only for 24 months with a significant fine at termination. No family plans. No discounts for multiple accounts. Have to pay hundreds of eur for the same internet for me and my partner, for home and work internet.
Bonus sistem is bullshit. You can spend your bonuses only for products with exessive price.
Would give 0 if I could. They are impossible to contact. When I did finally get a call back their own line was so bad that I could hardly understand a word the person was saying. I need to move address and they are charging me €3 a month more now just because of this change and starting my 24 month contract again.
And I cannot pay my bill with a card or direct debit as neither work. Their website breaks everytime. Do not use them.
I would give a zero, but thats not an option.
I had/have a business account for internet. I asked my Business Manager at ZeroUm to cancel the account back on 4th June 2024 as the service was no longer sufficient for my needs. Despite 2 follow up emails to him I have not received any paperwork to complete the task. Now I am being chased by a debt collection agency for the unpaid amount. I have twice contacted Vodafone directly to informed that someone would call me to discuss and resolve the situation. No calls have been forthcoming and I still receive more emails advsing me that I owe them money.
