Terrible customer service

I had a terrible experience with Vitruve Fit.

I received the Vitruve Force device damaged N. order US9033: the screen was scratched and had visible bubbles, which is absolutely unacceptable for a new product.

The biggest problem, however, was the complete lack of customer support. I tried contacting them in every way possible: via email, on Instagram, and even on Facebook, but I never received a response. No assistance, no explanation, nothing.

Non-existent customer service, and the product arrived in poor condition. An extremely disappointing experience; I do not recommend it.

Fast delivery and excellent product

In terms of from ordering to delivery, it was first class. It took less than one week for the order to travel from Spain to Australia.

However, I've requested to exchange the product I've ordered and there has been zero progress. You're directed to use a chat bot and promised to have someone from customer service contact you within 24 hours. This didn't happen. When I received an e-mail, I was directed to contact another department and since then, there has been nothing.

For something easy to resolve, it has been very disappointing customer service. Happy to amend this review if anything changes.

EDIT: Iker from Vitruve called me - it appears that there were some technical difficulties with receiving my e-mail. Everything has now been resolved, return processed and exchange delivered. I'm very happy with the Vitruve Force - it's an excellent product for analyzing your gym lifts and jumps.

Still struggling to understand the app…

Still struggling to understand the app and need to find a time to sit down with staff to understand the new app more since switching over. App and units seem better but need to update you tube videos for instructions when you cannot call to check on how to do something.

The Customer Service

The Customer Service, education, hardware and software from Vitruve is fantastic. They are constantly pushing forward to give coaches the best so coaches can give their athletes the best.

Minimal learning curve and great intent

There is a minimal learning curve so the athletes pick up quickly on what is wanted from them and how to maneuver the software. Additionally it creates outstanding intent from each of them every single rep. The only issue I have come across is that at times my app does not update the training settings across all devices like it is supposed to and the support team has not yet been able to fix the issue.

I think the onboarding seemed distant

I think the onboarding seemed distant. I know that there were videos for merging with Teambuilr, and stuff that made sense if we were going to be using the Ipad per unit. It didn't seem personal because we don't have the capabilities for an Ipad per unit. When there was an IT issue, we got referred back to Teambuildr before Teambuildr helped with communication issues. It turned out we needed to download the app that was different from the DEMO, was not told that from the start.
After the login issue was resolved, I feel like there weren't as many resources for reference us or our athletes. Besides the powerpoint when we got our DEMO unit, I wish we had more of a guide for velocities with each %/load perscribed to help integrate with the athletes. (besides the visual on the ipad because we aren't equipped for that option)

Few months ago we changed our demo process and now we are covering everything you need for a perfect onboarding. This demo process consists in many calls until you are able to use in the way you want to use it.

As a coach

As a coach, one of the biggest tools we utilize is bar speed. This lets us know the relative intensity of where an athlete is at and whether or not to add load or stay where we are at. Usually we can use our coaching eye, but it is never a perfect system and is always room for error. With Vitruve, I am able to track bar velocity for all of my athletes and figure out specific ranges they need to work in with much more precision. This makes my job infinitely easier and allows me to take guessing out of the picture as to whether we are training the right strength quality or not. I highly recommend this product and is great for testing and works well in just about any setting

This device is an absolute…

This device is an absolute game-changer. The hardware is well-made, and the app works flawlessly.

I've used this for every rep of my main lifts for the last 3 months, and the numbers just keep going up.

The biggest thing this has done for me, has been the perspective shift; bar speed is the only thing that matters. Tracking your progress as a weightlifter by going off of "pounds on the bar" is like talking about how fast a car can go based off its cylinder displacement - you don't get the full story, and it's not a reliable metric for measuring your actual strength.

Even on days where I'm feeling flat and blown-out, I can push to make each rep better than the last one.

This thing is the real deal. If you care enough about your fitness to have read this whole review, do yourself a favor and buy one already.
