I have to echo the sentiments of other skeptical reviewers: Do not let the polished marketing videos fool you. As someone who is IT-savvy, I’m usually able to troubleshoot my way through most software hurdles, but Vitepos has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish.
The Reality vs. The Pitch
The marketing team deserves a raise, but the dev team has some serious explaining to do.
The "Vaporware" Feel: Half of the functionalities showcased in their promotional materials simply do not work in reality. The videos are a curated fantasy that doesn't survive contact with a real-world server environment.
PWA is a Ghost: They tout the Progressive Web App as a core feature. In my experience, it’s non-existent. While it "installs," it never actually starts. It’s a shortcut to nowhere.
i dont even want to talk about the vitepos user app. Looks like before they invented computer technology. It almost feels like they wanted to implement everything but didnt figure out how the freatures should work to gether. There is no flow.
The Printing Disaster: This was the dealbreaker. They give you a "pinky promise" that printing is seamless and integrated. The reality? It’s the polar opposite. Getting a simple receipt to pull through correctly is a massive time-sink that I never recovered.
Final Verdict
I have wasted an' ungodly amount of time trying to force this software to do what it claimed to do out of the box. If you value your time and need a reliable POS system for a real business, make sure to test it throughly that it really does what you expect before paying the buck. This is a case study in over-promising and under-delivering.
I have set up several POS systems for different WooCommerce clients, and Vitepos is incredibly fast, stable, and user-friendly. But what truly sets this plugin apart is its development and support team.
I contacted them because my client urgently needed a specific feature for their physical retail store (a Gift Receipt option without prices). Incredibly, the developer listened to my exact requirements, coded the feature, and released it in an update within 24 hours! They even included it in the order history section so cashiers can reprint it later.
It is very rare to find a software company that actually listens to its users and improves the product this fast based on real-world needs. If you need a reliable POS with a team that truly cares about your business, don't hesitate. 10/10 highly recommended!

However, replies only go to the payment gateway provider, not to VitePOS support.
After some searching, I eventually found a WhatsApp number on Facebook. I did get through to someone, though they were reluctant to help at first (possibly because of my earlier 1-star review). I had to ask several times where to get proper assistance before I was guided in the right direction.
In the end, I discovered the product does not support bundled or composite products, which makes it unsuitable for our needs.
That said, VitePOS seems like a great plugin for anyone running a simple website. I changed my review to 3 stars, and it would have been 4 if not for the initial pushback from support.
I did receive a full refund after purchase.

I’m honestly shocked by all the positive reviews. Those were the reason I decided to buy the Pro version, but since payment was taken, nothing has worked and support has been completely unreachable.
The free Lite version looks nice but is very limited — it can’t even manage stock levels. That’s why I upgraded to Pro, but unfortunately, the system doesn’t work at all. I’ve reached out to support multiple times, but all I ever get is a link to an unhelpful bot.
I’ve also requested a refund, but so far I haven’t heard back from anyone at Vitepos.

I had pos for woocommerce from the woocommerce store. Horrible! Now this tool is bizar good! You can see the people behind Vitepos know what customers with a store need. Great refund option reflecting to the barcode on the receipt. Easy to add variable products. Light weight. Great to see customer view too. With an mac and an ipad you can put that screen on the ipad so the client can see the cashier its process too! Wonderful! All makes so much sense without any tutorial or support request. The only thing I'm now looking into is custom field note text area I added for adding information to cashier view only. But I think that will be easy to figure out if I spend another 30 min.

I found this to be the simplest POS for a small store that I own along with online sales. Very neet, good looking and professional. The offline feature via cache ensures that your system keeps running if by any means your internet goes down. Simply fantastic.

I purchased the plugin before and then returned it because I thought I (once again) had purchased a plugin that was a bit overkill for my needs. However, a few weeks later, I permitted myself to go ahead and purchase it again because the functionality and reviews convinced me about its usefulness. And it truly is.
I am pretty amazed by the nice user interface. I would love to see more documentation that helps online-only Woocommerce users get started, but other than that, I have no complaints at all. After figuring out that I needed to create at least one store and one counter, I added one user—even though I have no physical store, I could view my online orders in a super nice display with filtering and sorting options, which Woocommerce does not allow.
I am excited to check out the customer communication options and everything this lovely plugin makes possible. My next steps are updating the branding to my liking and enjoying the ability to check my orders online without the Woocomerce app, which I truly dislike.
I recommend this app to everyone, whether in the physical store or not. It may be one of my most useful Woocommerce purchases so far. Thanks to the Vitepos team!
