I ordered a box of 10 sachets of Vital Proteins from the Vital Proteins shop on Amazon. I have checked the dates on the bottom of the box but have to say that the smell of the collagen powder is disgusting. I've had other brands before but none of them have had this smell. I cannot imagine how anyone would want to drink this.

Super misleading website in terms of how to claim your 'free' gifts you have actually qualified for! Common sense such a green ticked box next to your gift does not actually mean that you will receive it - be super vigilant if you really want your 'free' gift! Will not be ordering again! Simply put, I just kind support firms who try to catch you out - this is just not on Vital Proteins!

I created an account on Vital Proteins AU & U ordered collagen from their website. They cancelled my order and deleted my account. I had to create a new one to contact them, and they did not give a proper explanation. After that, they deleted the account again. I have been ordering these products in Europe and I NEVER had an issue like this. It is unbelievable

0 star if I could. This business is a scam and the customer service is ridiculously hilarious and hopeless, building up lies to pushing things back and forth. Items arrived in a fairly messy and gross state, not even sure whether still safe to consume. They would scam you to initiate a return yourself and will never be able to have the refund processed back to your bank account. Kept insisting they have requested a refund when you come back to them but the reality is they just would never give a penny back to you. Really disgusting business.

Dont want to waste more time by explaining the disgusting customer service I received.

I have been consuming the collagen peptides for quite some time.
I have never had issues ordering or receiving my orders on time.I can see the benefits of their collagen and will carry on ordering.

Absolutely disgusted that my order arrived today and the expiry date is less than 9 months! This is totally unacceptable.

As you receive the product, opening it requires you to be bound by their T&Cs and an (although they write it, not binding) arbitration clause. DO NOT BUY.

It is not worth buying from a company that seeks to avoid its responsibilities. There’s a lot of actors in this market — do NOT support Vital Proteins. There’s many more responsible actors in the market.

Dreadful customer service. They can't even answer simple questions about the makeup of their collagen. Their staff don't know the science behind the product so how can we trust the brand?

The recommended daily consumption of collagen is 10g, their suggested dosage is 20g. I presume that's because the molecule weight is so high that it can't be easily absorbed into the system - but no-one can tell me the Dalton weight!!?!!

There are many reputable companies who offer high grade collagen. Choose a brand that has carried out scientific testing as opposed to these charlatons.

Very poor customer services. It’s not easy getting through and they don’t read the messages properly.
The collagen I was using had an offensive smell to it … it was so bad I couldn’t use it.
I asked for advice and if this was normal and because I had bought the product for Amazon they refused to comment and said I needed to go through Amazon.
I won’t be using vital collagen again. I will take my business elsewhere

Don't buy this product or buy from vital proteins if you do.Customer service very poor .There Web site generated wrong postcode didnt confirm went to a different address. When I found out 10 days later the told me not there liability go get it from address .I travelled to postcode and found my product had been used asked them again and they said not our problem .I wrote a review they didn't put it up as they don't put negative reviews about customer care or negative about product eg generated postcodes ,can't cancel subscriptions,lead in previous products ,or damage all true reviews but only keep positive up .Beware!

This is either a very poorly run business or a scam.
Tried to buy product and it wouldn't accept the valid c/c used. Rang them and they said try again. Didn't work so called them back and there was an automated message saying they were closed for the day (3pm!!). Website says open till 5pm.
Tried to email them and email bounced back noticed they had slightly different email address name to the business name using a "t" in front of the company name) ANOTHER VERY ODD THING.
At this point they had all the c/c details so I had to cancel the card just in case.
Waste of time and also reported to SCAMWATCH.
Do NOT use them, read the other reviews if you need extra info about how these dodgy scammers operate.

This is a company that makes it very difficult to contact them once you have entered into a regular delivery. Once you have bought a product, your account gives you no options for stopping a regular purchase, amending a purchase or speaking to anyone. There is nothing wrong with the product I have bought but it's nothing special either and I am stuck in an ongoing purchase which Vital Proteins makes it impossible to stop or amend. The way that the web site is designed is manipulative.

I used this product a few years ago and needed only 1 Tbs. Now it's 3 Tbs, doesn't dissolve, just clumps up so I must use my Nutra-bullet. It's unlikely that the container will provide 28 servings, as advertised.
Very disappointing.

I’ve been corresponding with Vital Proteins numerous times over the last 4 weeks trying to obtain an agreed postage refund. I signed up for a subscription but was not notified in advance of this despatch, so I had no time to cancel. Very annoying. They agreed to refund postage but after several attempts to chase this my card was not reimbursed. I know it’s a small amount but it’s the principal.

I had ordered several products to try them out and I have to say I felt really bad as most jars had been only half full.

One box even had less than half of powder inside and I felt a bit cheated.

Also before they had a lot of Marine Collagen product as I am pescatarian but now most products are made of Bovine Collagen which is sourced from Beef which I am not eating.

I am a bit disappointed.

They claim 14 servings, it's only 9.25!! Lemon has a pleasant taste; not sure it's doing anything for me so far. Only done about 2 containers. Pricey for # of servings!!

I buy this from Holland and Barrett so can't comment on the customer service or delivery time from the actual company. I've been using the product for 3 months. In this time I've had so much new hair growth, all round my hair line! Over an inch of new hair, and it is beginning to feel a little bit thicker all over the scalp too (I have naturally fine, straight hair) which I am really pleased about. I haven't seen any difference in skin. I work out a lot and find that I never get sore joints or get injuries, although this could be due to Omega 3 as well.

In terms of taste and texture, I put two scoops a day into my morning coffee. It dissolves easily. It does make the coffee very slightly thicker than normal and it has a slightly sweet taste, but it is pleasant. You will notice this in your drink. If you don't like that, try it in a smoothie so the fruit flavours cover it up. I haven't tried it in cold drinks as I don't think it would break down well.

Overall I am happy with this and will keep taking it, maybe with a break every few months due to the cost.

Their customer service rep. Antonio is hilarious. I told him their webshop is broken and i cannot place an order because i cannot login to my account and he tells me to make a new account. I try ordering as a guest and that also doesn't work. Like I want to buy my products and they don't give a damn about the fact that their webshop is broken. I stopped getting a response on my support ticket when i insisted my account get fixed.

I have just received my order and unfortunately I will not be re-ordering as the container is only half full which means the powder will only last approx 18 days making it very expensive also the smell and taste is quite off putting. I will be returning to my usual collagen sachets which taste much better also are less expensive.
