My experience of this clinic, so far, has been extremely good from start to finish. The staff in the London clinic were professional, kind and patient in explaining everything. I was provided with a range of treatment plans covering parts and all of the work needed making it easier for me to assess what I could afford at any one time. The dentist also checked with his colleagues in Hungary when there was a question about my suitability for implant surgery which felt reassuring.
I decided to go ahead with the least invasive part of the work needed first - both for financial and practical reasons. The clinic were clear about availability and a date was booked in. I spent 5 days in Budapest and could not have asked for more while there. The staff at the clinic itself were welcoming and clear in their explanations. I also appreciated a welcome text with an 'out of hours' emergency number that was texted on arrival also.
I chose to stay in accommodation sourced by myself but public transport in Budapest is superb and there was no problem getting to and from the clinic even though three visits were required. Trams, Metro and buses and are all nearby and taxis would be an option if needed. Budapest is a stunningly beautiful city which I would gladly re-visit over and over. I would thoroughly recommend a visit (or many!) for anyone who has not been. While perhaps with more invasive dental work sightseeing would be less fun but I am sure the clinic advise on that.
The dental work itself was carried out by Dr Gabor and his assistants. He was kind, patient, thorough and efficient. Despite some long appointments it was all very manageable. I am not a fan of dentists and, atlhough I did not share this with the clinic as I felt focussing on it would make it worse, I have had bad dental phobia due to some bad experiences in the past but was able to manage this very well. Dr Gabor's gentle, calm and confident manner was very effective and helpful in reducing anxiety.
I am very happy with the outcome of the work. Admittedly it is only a few weeks on so I cannot comment on how well the work lasts or what the clinic would do with any problems but I am extremely pleased at this point. I was desperate not to look like I had a mouthful of fake Hollywood style teeth and can honestly say what I have is very natural looking.
I am still to have more work done which will need a bit of time for financial reasons (and is definitely more daunting) but I hope I am able to return to Budapest for this work. For me, it has far exceeded dental treatment experienced in the UK.
I have been very impressed not just with the quality of the dental work but the approach of the company. A particular dislike of mine is the hard sell and, when I first approached, I was expecting to be hounded by follow up calls chasing business. This was not the case at all and I have not felt rushed or pressured into anything. Really grateful for this company making much needed dental treatment accessible.
Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the “Savings”
I cannot express how disappointed I am with the treatment I received through this company. Ten years ago, I had my dental work arranged through their London clinic and carried out in Budapest. At the time, I trusted their process and believed I was making a reasonable decision.
Unfortunately, the long-term results have been extremely poor.
Several of my crowns developed problems over the years. Some required holes to be drilled in order to treat root canals that died after the crowns had been placed. Others had to be replaced only a few years later, and some crowns have even fallen off repeatedly, requiring me to spend additional money almost every year just to have them reattached or replaced.
After dealing with these ongoing issues for a decade, I contacted the clinic to ask whether they could replace all of my crowns properly, given the complications I have experienced. Instead of offering support or solutions, I was told that they could not redo the work because my roots are now too weak.
To make matters worse, the main receptionist and person responsible at the London clinic was extremely rude during this conversation, which was shocking considering I was a returning patient whose treatment originated through their clinic.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating and costly experience. The amount of money I have spent over the years fixing problems caused by the original treatment could easily have paid for top-quality dental work from the beginning.
In hindsight, the supposed savings were simply not worth it. I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before choosing this route. Reliable, high-quality dental treatment is something you should never compromise on.

TL;DR: The basically held me hostage until I paid, despite being a client in good standing for three years.
I first contacted VitalEurope in London in the summer of 2022. I agreed on undergoing a dental treatment in Budapest a few months later, involving the replacement of almost all my upper-jaw teeth/crowns.
That treatment duly proceeded and was completed in December 2022. It cost around US$3,500. I attended twice yearly appointments since then, in Budapest, for cleaning, descaling, etc., costing around US$ 100 at a time. I paid for all the foregoing with AmEx (large amounts) or a debit card.
By 2025 I had spent at least $4,000 at Vital Europe over the course of 2-1/2 years.
In spring 2025 I decided to do a partial crown (re)placement on my bottom jaw, entailing several visits and payment in two tranches, totaling approximately $2,000.
After the first part of the substantive treatment I asked to pay the $1,600 bill by wire transfer. The staff appeared inexplicably perplexed but made arrangements; however, I was asked to email them proof of payment as soon as possible. The following day, just before the wire went through, they called me to again demand proof of payment. It should be borne in mind that I had temporary crowns fitted at the time so the likelihood of my absconding without paying was highly improbable.
At the final visit I again asked to pay, the sum of $500, by wire transfer, adding I would do it first thing when I arrive home. (I live in Budapest, permanently, so that meant a couple hours later.) I was instead directed to a computer at the facility and asked to render the payment there and then. In other words, they practically disallowed me to leave before I effected the transfer AND provided evidence thereof. I remonstrated but the response was that it was standard policy.
It is as disappointing as it is astonishing that they should treat a longstanding client, and one who had spent more than $5,000 with them by that juncture, in such a manner.
Contrast that with another provider (EviDent Pro), just up the road, who performed a surgery (gingival graft, which VitalEurope does not do) AND PERMITTED ME TO PAY BY A WIRE TRANSFER AFTER THE PROCEDURE AND AFTER SEVERAL CHECKUPS, AT MY LEISURE, WITHOUT ANY FRANTIC PHONE CALLS. In fact, they didn't bat an eye when I said I would wire the money later, contrary to VitalEurope's assertion that theirs is the standard practice in the private healthcare industry.
Although the dental treatment VitalEurope provides is truly good (hence more than a single star), their customer treatment is abysmal. "Policy" is not written in stone and is no excuse to practically hold a person hostage until they cough up the money. To treat an old client as if he was in a restaurant for the first time and might "dine and dash" is simply inexcusable.
Needless to say, I will not be having any further treatments done at VitalEurope nor do (or will) I recommend them. My mother was looking at having all her crowns replaced there but that has zero chance of happening now.
Despicable.

I required extensive dental work after a cycle accident and was recommended to use Vital Europe by a clubmate who was very happy with his treatment there.
I must say my experience was absolutely first class. The care and hospitality i was given both in London and Budapest clinics was exemplary. You wouldn't normally associate dentistry as a treat- but I was trully sad to leave- but did smile all the way home! 😃

Budapest is a nice city to visit too and the clinic there is state of the art and staff are brilliant. A good excuse to make a holiday in Budapest whilst having some dental work at good prices!

Vital Europe provided excellent customer care from start to finish. I am a nervous person when it comes to density work. Full information was given at each stage of the treatment with courtesy and patience. Despite the intervention of Covid which delayed my treatment in the timescale agreed, I was happy about their service and would highly recommend them.

I've been seeing VitalEurope's dentists and hygienists for over a decade and I've always received the best care and help, they've always been transparent throughout the whole process, no hidden fees or last minute changes. They've always made me feel welcome and answered all my questions. I do recommend VitalEurope.

Just went to Vital europe and it was so professional! My experience is beyond my expectations and i love the work they have done! only 5 stars i can give but i would give a zillion!
Well what can I say?. I've been to the Budapest clinic this week and once again I received another outstanding experience. I first had treatment here back when the practice was in its infancy in 2007. Back then I received first class treatment and service I thought could never be surpassed, but wait, Vital has continue to grow and strive to heights beyond exception. Be advised by a returning patient who cannot applaud this practice enough. If you want to be made to feel so special and be treated with upmost individuality then chose Vital. I really do find it difficult to describe my gratitude and thanks to all at Vital....to laud one individual in particular would be so unfair. Thank you so much for giving me my smile back.

I have been Vital Europe patient since 2008 and have implants 2008 and crowns 2020. I had trouble with my implants (2014) few years later but headed back to Budapest and had it fixed by them without any problems. 4 years ago I had crowns and luckily no problems. This Friday I am going for check up.
Visited the London branch for a Implant consultation. Was told that the X-rays provided by my local Dentist were related to someone else and not mine. This was completely untrue but a second copy of the X-rays was sent by email. I called them to ensure they had received the X-rays which they confirmed. One week later still no Treatment Plan or cost estimate. They are incompetent and provide no confidence. Stay well clear
In 2014, I had new upper and lower dentures fitted at Vital Europe. The work that was done was very good. The Dentist that done the work no longer works at Vital Europe. The dentures are now getting worn and I decided to go back to Budapest and get everything renewed I emphasise renewed the cost of the of the work was £8821. They told me I needed to allow for 10 days for the work to be done. Let me tell you I didn’t spend more than three hours spread over the 10 working days in the dental chair, the told me David bena coordinator and Attila persei dentist I didn’t need to have everything renewed. I insisted the work should be done and what was more than happy to pay the full price. I told them I have a health condition and I’m terminal. I explained this to them, but the persisted to push me to have only minor worked done, they did not renew anything except for the teeth on the old dentures, no telescopic crowns, no new pin and grommets to hold the lower denture in the lower denture came back damaged deliberately. The pins had been filed down. You may ask why this was done about five years ago , I enquired the cost of a replacement pin with David Benya just in case I lost one of my two pins he told me £35 a couple of years later, I did lose a pin and thought it best to get a spare David benya What did the charge me £105. I was astonished at the price increase. I did offered to pay £50 but he would not consider it so we fell out over him taking advantage of my position. This is why I think he or Attila Pesei deliberately damaged the pin on the denture Which with metal fatigue will probably break. I ended up paying less than £2200, they led me to believe I was having everything replaced waste of time and money on Hotel could of flown back 10 or eight days earlier There are plenty of other good Dentist in Budapest or Poland. Beware you have no recourse from this country. If the dental work goes wrong check all reviews from TripAdvisor if you look deep enough, you will find on TripAdvisor and trustpilot bad reviews.
