I have recently under went open heart surgery but unfortunately needed a pacemaker unexpectedly as well! I was little upset as I love the outdoors and like sports including rock climbing and mountain biking.
I came across this website and product and I glad I did! (Doctors look at me baffled as I ask if there is anything to protect a pacemaker)
I WhatsApp the company with my measurements to make sure the T-shirt and pocket was in right place and right size, amazingly got back to me quick.
The t shirts were cool max so good for under T-shirts and jumpers. Mine is close fitting that’s good for me as not wearing it as an outer layer and good to keep protector in place at 5ft1 lady uk size 12. (I got size small- size medium if less fitting)The only thing I would say, I would preferred a round neck rather than v neck t shirt.
I have not used it yet due to open heart surgery, so takes longer to heal but can’t wait to get out again and use it. This will give me reassurance and confidence to get started as my pacemaker is very close to the surface.
There is not much on the market and thank you for providing this product to help many people go a live there lives as normal as they can and return to their normal hobbies 😀

You may be the only company that has addressed this issue regarding pacemaker protection. I'm a hiker and have used it for my last two (substantial) hikes in the White Mountains in New Hampshire and it worked great. I'm not using the additional padding either. I was a bit concerned with the pictures on your website as the protector looked huge and bulky on people but that is definitely not the case IRL. I'm average size (5'9", 150 lbs) and you can hardly notice it. Plan on ordering 1 or 2 more t shirts so I can swap em out.

This pacemaker top has been a game changer. I can now sleep without holding my hand over my pacemaker the protective support does it for me. Which is helping me sleep better.

With my first vest the pocket was in the wrong place. However I contacted Vital Beat and they agreed to manufacture a bespoke vest immediately. Unfortunately there was a bit of a problem and instead of my bespoke vest I received another. However the 5 stars are awarded because within a couple of days a new modified vest arrived.

My husband recently had a pacemaker fitted. Prior to his surgery, he was very sporty and included martial arts in his activities. Obviously, martial arts and a pacemaker aren't a great combination. We found Vital Beat and I ordered him two large shirts and a shield. Everything arrived super quick but the shirts were a very close fit. We decided to change them and the exchange process was so easy. I kept the shield, returned the shirts with a note explaining the issue and requesting XL shirts instead. That was eight days ago and the replacements are here already. The new shirts fit well, the instructions on how to fit the shield and foam insert are easy to follow and the service I've received has been outstanding. Although he'll still need to be careful, he's really looking forward to getting back to training, knowing that his device is protected from stray blows or falls. Thank you Vital Beat for your brilliant product and your unbeatable customer service. (And for the lovely notes that come in the parcels). An excellent product from a great supplier.

I have been using Vital Beat 's pacemaker protector and sport shield for over 4 years. As a tree service worker, I feel confident in running a chain saw daily with it in place. Furthermore, it keeps the shoulder harness of vehicle seat restraints from rubbing directly on my pacemaker, which would be very annoying without it. I would recommend Vital Beat's products and service to anyone.

I've never received better customer service from any online order than I did from Vital Beat. When I received my first order, it didn't quite fit right, so i ordered a different sized shirt to try. They proactively identified my order and reached out to me. Based on the size given in my initial order, they felt the shirt size was correct but the pocket was in the wrong location. They provided additional instructions on how to measure and made shirts with a custom placed pocket in them and did not up charge for it.. The new pocket placement fits perfectly!! This is an amazing product run by people who really care about their customers. Couldn't be happier!!

I’ve only used once since getting the pacemaker protection and two T-shirts but happy so far. It’s an expensive piece of equipment (especially the cost of the T-shirts) but it seems to be good quality and if it helps protect my pacemaker whilst playing cricket then it’s worth it.

the shirt us well made with especially strong stitching around the shield that should hold up well and the shield is made out of thick piece of 3D0 material they didn’t cut corners there either

Great product and great service. Replied promptly to my email queries. Delivered to Australia within a week of ordering. The Pacemaker shirts, both short sleeved and sleeveless, fit perfectly, and very comfortable. Does need to be tucked in due to how snug it is. It is a bit tight to get the protection pad into the pocket in the shirt, though probably necessary to ensure it fits snuggly once in place, and will probably get easier with practice. The shirt is working well when I wear a moderately heavy backpack, it spreads the pressure of the shoulder strap well, though unsurprisingly sometimes gets a bit sweaty under the pad after a while. One would normally wear a normal shirt over the Pacemaker shirt, which works well. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the neck a bit larger so it doesn't show when wearing a T-shirt/exercise shirt over the Pacemaker shirt.

Overall a great product. Understandably, the product comes from another country. Arrived within days of ordering. Thadeo was a pleasure to work with. My doctor never heard of the company and lived the shirt and shield idea for other patients. Will be buying a few more shirts in the near future.
