Vital Records Now 

I placed an order for a birth certificate on 11/18/2024...It's now 7/10/2025 and still no borsht certificate. I called their customer service and they told me it will take 22-25 weeks. It's been 32 weeks. I asked for refund and they said no.

Scam, I got caught up in it!
Oder it on feb 2025 and still waiting for the certificate.
Out of 50.00 bucks

This is a Scam. They are charging you $50 dollars to do nothing but prefill out a form for you. You still have to pay the county for the documents you requested even though Vital Records Now makes it seem that you are paying for the documents.

Didn't processes my initial request in the beginning of April. After 4 weeks, I contacted them, they said they never proccessed my request. Then I got word they processed middle of May. After 6 weeks, they said they had backlogged & had to restart the process the end of June. No communication until I would inquire why it was taking so long. Finally received my request July 20th.

DO NOT USE!!!! They scam u for $50 and do nothing at all to get your record. 100% satisfaction guaranteed NOT! That's a lie as well

I had submitted information to order to birth certificates due to losing important documentation in a house fire it has been 3 months still no records sent to me. I have contacted vitalchek and the state and they had told me that it is a scam. I can never get through to the phone number listed on my bank statement. I even paid to have the documents expedited. Because I waited so long my bank now cannot reimburse me for the fees.

This is a terrible process. I ordered a birth certificate over 2 months ago and still haven't received it. Do not use this site. I talked to vital statistics and they have no record of my order or purchase.

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered the birth certificate. Never got a confirmation or email or anything. Started searching again to see if I could find a contact number and found the New York vital records site. I ordered the BC from them and was told it would take 30-45 days but at least they sent a confirmation. I am now trying to get a refund on my money through my credit card. My fear is that they have personal information and can steal my identity.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICES. If you think you're ordering to have it mailed to you, NOT. They send you the document forms to have you fill out and you have to take it to a notary, spend more money, than you send it off, then they charge you more money to pay for the vital record you ordered. It was going to cost me $75 to get one document. They are total rip-off company hiding behind the name of Vital-Records Now. Save your money and go to VitalChek.com. You order what you need and get it right away in the mail fast delivery without having to download any forms and take to a Notary.

I ordered a birth certificate 2/28 and got a confirmation number. Still haven't received an email confirmation. I tried searching the order number on the site and cant be found. I also tried calling the number on my statement (I WAS ALREADY CHARGED) and by surprise my order cant be found. Please help! How can I contact customer service. I was charged $49.00.

TOTAL SCAM. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY, DON'T SEND YOU ANY CERTIFIED BIRTH CERTIFICATE, THEN WHEN YOU EMAIL THEM, AS THEY HAVE NO LEGIT NUMBER YOU CA CALL, EVENTUALLY THEY GET BACK TO YOU AND TELL YOU YOUR ORDER DOESN'T EXIST. EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE A SCREEN SHOT OF THE ORDER NUMBER. THEY STOLE MY MONEY. I AM FILING A REPORT AGAINST THESE CROOKS!!

Company is a scam. The customer service phone number is a hoax; it never connects and hangs up every time.

Fuccckk I cant believe I ordered from this place, what a dumb move ! I've got nothing from them.

Time frame to receive certificate was much longer than the estimated time listed on their website. Not to mention the over 300% increase in price from what the document actually costs at the county assessors office. Poor communication and the additional documents that they stated they needed from me were unable to be downloaded from their poor excuse of a website despite me using chrome, Firefox, and brave.
Gave up and spent 30 minutes in line at the county office and spent $28 to get the document I ordered from this website.

This surely is a scam as many others have said. I never received anything back from them and they wanted information from me which I gave them unfortunately. I'll report them to the FCC if I can or whatever organization I can find. Hopefully they'll shut them down and soon!

I wish that I had read these reviews before placing my order (which several months later I have never received). What a scam. I should have just thrown my money out the window; at least a neighbor would be benefiting instead of these people.
UPSHOT: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Horrible, This site is not in this country. The same application I needed to get my birth certificate is on line. You just need to fill it out and send in your fees (less) . Send in id information.and mail. This is truly a rip off. Go to the state site instead.

Less then one star! Can not call then. Need documents no way to talk to then... I would not recommend to anyone!
