I had completed the entire 90 day program when it was just an email to your inbox. It cost $40 one time and you did the daily exercises. It WAS great. I paid again and immediately regretted it. Apparently I am now "subscribed". I hated the new interface/app style delivery. Within an hour of purchase I requested a refund. Absolutely ridiculous bot responses - days of back and forth and still no refund. The program was good and they ruined it. I checked online and it seems a lot of people also are billed annually - for a 30 day, 60 day or 90 day program. If I can't get my money back now will they bill me next year for nothing? Since I can't get ahold of anyone what's to stop them. THE REPLY BELOW DID NOT INCLUDE A REFUND! TOTAL SCAM. Of course I have repeatedly contacted their customer service. BUYER BEWARE.

This company targets procrastinators with a model that renews annually without any notice. By luck I noticed an unfamiliar charge this year, after paying annually for three years, I don't even remember if I've used it once. You have to email to end your subscription, setting up another barrier for procrastinators. When I asked if I could get a refund when ending my subscription, which I did 5 days after it autorenewed, I get denied as I had to have canceled one day before the renewal. There is also no way to log in to their web page as far as I can tell. As for the product, I don't know. It was apparently so forgettable that I have no memory of using it three years later...

I canceled a year ago and was just charged for another year. Sneaky!

Reply from virtuemap.com
Cancelled last year (as well as first year I used it) – but I keep getting charged.
They give you 'a map' to stop procrastinating. The product itself is a 4-week progress tracker. So why the subscription?

Reply from virtuemap.com
While the product itself may be fine, their business practices are shady. All the reputable apps I use provide me with at least 2 weeks of not 30 days notice that I am about to be charged a renewal. I received no notice from Virtue Map. When I wrote them to cancel my account and request a refund since I have not logged into this app or used it since 2022, all they would do is cancel my account. No refund. If you have a reputable business you give notice and if you care about providing quality customer service then you refund people for a product they are not and have not used. I would never use this app again because of their poor business practices.

!!See below for my original review!!
I originally paid for this program back in 2022. I had some issues with the subscription, considering I didn't receive any service or product from them since 2023, and believed I had cancelled it. This has since been resolved as I reached out to the team via email, as well as this original review, and they have since offered me a full refund in good faith.
I believe the first 30-60 days of this program felt like it helped, but were mostly generic advice that I didn't look at from then. Some of their stuff I used, most of it I did not. The price is fair for the first year, but I would actively make sure you cancel it from then on.
Also make sure you carefully read their cancellation policy, as they do not allow you to cancel without emailing them, which is a definite barrier to accessing their service. Proceed with caution, as I know of many people that have written about bad experiences with them.
I thank them for resolving my issue quickly.
!!ORIGINAL REVIEW!!
I paid for a one-time program back in 2022. I did not sign up for any subscription service, and believed I had deleted my account back in 2023. I received no invoice from them, and no indications of services. I have had no contact with this company since the 23/01/2023, and believed that all business had been concluded. I have just noticed that I have been charged EVERY YEAR for a service that I have NOT RECEIVED and had ZERO COMMUNICATION about this. I have received no invoice, or reminder of "subscription renewal" (despite not signing up for a subscription) or any other form of communication.
This is a scam company. I write only to hope they send my money back. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

**Edit - virtuemap have responded to my issue and I am progressing. I will update my review accordingly after I've completed the course - changed to 3 stars, which I will review and consider after the course.***

I purchased Virtuemap in 2021. It is an email course where they send you emails every day up to Day 87, i.e. nearly 3 months. Due to the volume of emails received I fell behind and didn’t finish the course. However, I thought, as they were just emails in my inbox, I could pick up the course when I was ready. They even say in the FIRST email, “IMPORTANT! Do not get overwhelmed if you are getting behind on the program! It is structured such that even if you fall behind, you can still successfully finish it at your own pace. Don’t let the unopened emails (if that happens) discourage you, and simply work through your plan in your free time.”
This information is wrong! I’d argue it is a lie.
When I eventually clicked on the emails, I found they had links in that lead to downloadable content. Clicking the links now, they are all dead. i.e. This is time-limited course, not a ‘pay once and can access the content whenever’ type content. I was not aware of this when purchasing.
I contacted the consumer services and was informed, the content “has expired now so you can purchase a new plan accordingly.”
I find this unacceptable for a digital content course. It’s not like they have to produce anything new. The first few downloads are PDFs. They refused to even email them over.
For a company that deals with procrastination, I’d imagine this situation happens often (i.e. people not finishing the course due to procrastination), so it surely cannot be an unreasonable request to get access to PDF downloads that have already been paid for.
I advise everyone to stay away from VirtueMaps

The app is fine. Could use more content for the weekly basis, felt a little lacking in material. I cancelled the app and was still charged because I only deleted the app and didn't un-subscribe. That was annoying but possibly my fault.

They answered fast and helped finding a Solution. That was Great.

Keeps charging on your credit card without a subscription. Had to cancel my card to make it stop.

I signed up for a trial about a year ago and canceled a week later. I followed the instructions on the website on how to cancel via email and received a notification that my subscription had been successfully canceled. Ever since then, I am still getting charged 36.99 every three months. I have to monitor by bank account for them so I can dispute it each time. So annoying! I finally called my bank and they said because I used a debit card there is no way for them to stop charges. So I'm just going to get a new card.
TLDR: Will fraudulently charge you repeatedly even after cancellation. STAY AWAY!

With this review, I'm not evaluating the product itself, as I barely used it. I started an annual plan one year ago, used it for a few days and then stopped, completely forgetting about it. A few days ago, I received an automatic and unwanted charge for the annual subscription renewal because, having forgotten that I had signed up, I simply never canceled the plan.
This has happened to me before with other services (i.e. Audible or ConvertiblePDF), and I never had any issues with customer service. I would simply request a cancellation and a full refund for the renewal, as I reached out immediately, and they understood it was just an oversight. However, this was not the case with VirtueMap. They initially refused to refund me anything, and only after I pushed a bit, they agreed to refund 30% of the charged amount, stating that I should have canceled the plan renewal 24 hours before the annual expiration.
This was the first time I encountered this, and I find it very unfair. While I understand that these are their service terms, I think it’s unreasonable not to be flexible with a customer like me, who contacted them immediately after the renewal. It was clearly just a mistake, and there was no intention to take advantage of anything.
EDIT: After this review they finally offered me total refund, so I have modifed this review from 2 to 3 stars because this should have happened immediately and not after making me lose all this time with both the discussion with support and then posting this review, which I knew it would have been the only way to obtain the full refund. This is not the correct way to behave with a customer.

The lessons are short and very concise with the exercises. I think it is very valuable what you share.

The publicity is far from what the webpage offers. You dont have an app. You charge subscriptions without asking and it’s a pain in the neck to contact you in order to get the money back.
Plus, every add and review online is fake and will make you believe otherwise.

I asked for a refund but I'm impressed with how the team handled it by processing the entire amount. I'd give it a shot in the future because of the integrity displayed. It's important for brands to stick to their service offerings to reflect good customer service.
