Really great experience hiring the VR gear for my son's birthday. The sets were a hit! Really easy to use, excellent instructions and clear delivery/return info.

I was very happy with the customer service I had got when hiring the vr headset . And the fun my family and I had was amazing made my sons school holidays so much fun im sure he will be telling his mates all about it when he gets back to school.

Nik was so helpful in every aspect. The headsets arrived well ahead of our scheduled event. We called with a question and heard back immediately. I would highly recommend Virtual Reality Hire NZ for great tech and a seamless hire experience.

We rented the oculus Meta Quest 2 to test it out and the visuals are amazing, the kids found it easy to learn how the controllers work. I’ve use HTC in the past, but Meta Quest 2 is waaay better! Had to give them my ID and take a photo before renting (which is always a concern online), but I guess they do have to check that you are a legit person before sending a $1000 equipment to your house. Renting was smooth, would do it again!

Virtual Reality Is great fun

Awesome business to deal with, the customer service was fantastic. The information on setting up the VR was so easy thanks to the clear and easy directions via email and also provided with the VR (even for the technology illiterate like me).
Sending it back was a breeze, literally a click of the link, no hassle at all.
Highly recommend and would use again!

Excellent service! What stood out for me was the customer service throughout, from the initial order through to the final check in after the VR gear was returned.

I wanted to try out a VR headset before buying one, to make sure I wasn't wasting money on something that made me feel nauseous from motion sickness (an experience I had with an VR headset around 2014-15). The VR headset technology has come such a long way since then, so the gear itself was excellent and the hire packs are very well laid out with clear instructions on how to get everything up and running.

If anyone is considering buying a VR headset, I'd encourage hiring one through Virtual Reality Hire beforehand to make sure it is right for you. It was worth it for me having that peace of mind that a VR headset is going to be a good purchase for me.

I have used computers for years and gamed but.....
This was something out of this world.
The fact that when you view I was surprised that when I turned my head It was like when you normally turn your head you get the side view that follows you heads movement, was a VR option NOT got on Computers, wonderful.

I thank Nik for the experience the different option to view are enormous and I enjoyed nature travels and viewing things/places, movies it was a experience.
