I purchased a gift card for a friend's birthday and I did not receive the instant email as the website stated I would. I checked both my Inbox and Spam folder multiple times with no such luck. This left me annoyed but Lufti, from customer service saved the day. He responded to each email in a timely manner and continued communicating with me until the issue was resolved. I purchased a voucher for Napa Valley hot air balloon ride and it was a simple procedure. Purchased for 20 percent off retail price and it actually worked without a hitch!

Awful experience. You can't use any coupon code with a gift card, and that's not clear anywhere. In addition, when you go to redeem the experience, there's not even a search option like there is on the pay-with-cash side. You have to scroll and scroll to try to find what you want, and the inventory is different than what appears on the pay-with-cash site.
In other words, you are paying 15-20% more than someone buying directly. You are forced to consider the vendors they want you to see first AND see limited or non-existent inventory. SO SCAMMY!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
EDIT:
I also want to add that the inventory changes if you are using a voucher vs. cash. I was about to buy an experience with cash, and many dates appeared. When I got a voucher and tried to use it minutes later on the same experience, it said all dates were sold out. After getting me on the hook for hundreds of dollars with the voucher!
Fluz and US Virgin Experiences, please add the following information to your purchase pages:
1. Coupons cannot be used with the US Virgin Experience Vouchers.
2. Inventory displayed on the main US Virgin Experience may be different when redeeming a voucher than when using cash.
One other note. Virgin Gifts is actively taking down negative reviews by requiring you to verify the info within 2 days. Luckily, I saw the Trustpilot email and verified, but I'm sure lots of people miss that. This falsely inflates their score. They "challenge" any review that is negative and require "verification" within 2 days, hoping that 80% of reviewers will miss that email. Then, they get Trustpilot to take down the review.
