I ordered a pair of earrings off the website. There was no mention on the website that there may be colour variations in the stones or in the metal around the stones. When the earrings arrived, the stones were a completely different colour from the ones I ordered, and the silver setting was shiny and not tarnished like it appeared on the website.
When I reached out to the customer services team, I asked for the correct earrings to be sent to me, in exchange for me to send back the ones that were sent to me. They refused to admit blame, told me I would have to pay for the postage from the UK to the Netherlands (£9-£18 estimated) or said I could just keep the earrings without a refund (that's not a solution?!). I asked for a full refund, and after over a week of email exchanges did they offered to let me keep the earrings and receive a 20% partial refund. I can't use the earrings, I can't gift them as they were intended because they're completely wrong, so now I have a horrible pair of earrings and I feel like I have been completely scammed.
Additionally, I told them that they should take down the pictures or the listing from their website. It's been over a week, it's still up! Completely false advertising, not worth the money.
Avoid, avoid avoid!
Ps those earrings are called "Vintage Blue Opal Earrings in Sterling Silver". Here's the listing, do not buy them because what will arrive is clearly NOT vintage, NOT blue (the stones were white!) and I would not be surprised if they were not even silver!

As others have experienced: fraudulent dropshipper that fully disregards consumer law, does not bear any entrepeneurial risk, ships faulty cheap products and prices products well beyond 50% margin (offered to send me a new product instead of taking care of the return).
If you read this, escalate the issue with paypal immediately and include the link to this webpage. Fortunately I was fully refunded. Additionally, report the webshop to the Dutch consumer authority at consuwijzer dot nl

Product (slippers) were awful and they weren’t cheap!! Customer service continually tried to avoid giving me a refund. The type of response they’ve put in reply to this post is exactly what they do - lots of nice words but deliberately avoiding giving a refund.

We ordered a good looking wood work to carry bottles. After a veryyy long wait, the product turned out to be poor quality thin sheets of light wood, paint stained, unstable...
Contacting Virelle, they offer to return the product at OUR expense to CHINA (not Netherlands where the order is placed) to get a refund. Completely contrary to their General Conditions.
When calling their phone number, a Chinese voice requests to email.

Already written a review, which was don't trust anything from this company. As others have said, it seems you are dealing with a Dutch company but you are not, everything comes from China and the quality is what you would expect from mass produced, cheap workmanship. And I've tried for weeks to be excluded from their email subscription, but you enter your details, and nothing is confirmed and the emails continue. I will never use this company again for anything, so stop writing to me Virelle.

The watch did not work: the winder did not make the hands move and when the winder was in, the watch only worked for a few minutes before stopping again.

Unfortunately, I feel I have to warn people. This seems to be a very slick and pretty website used as a front for cheap and nasty tat. It appears Dutch but shipped from China, with pictures of artisan pieces which do not resemble reality. I bought two sets of silver jewelry as a gift and I'm very disappointed with the quality. It looks and feels mass produced rather than the quirky handmade versions advertised. They confirmed that these are sterling silver prior to purchase - I have my doubts looking and handling them. Soldering and pitting marks also ruin surfaces and contours.
Virelle sent an email today asking me to rate my experience- it brings you to Trustpilot when selecting five stars but re-directs you to contact them by email when selecting one or two stars- not exactly keen for honest opinion to be out there. I've written off the cost as the hassle reported by people on here does not seem worth it.
In anticipation of their cut and paste replies on Trustpilot: Please do not contact me further and please note that I am for sure not part of the Virelle community.

The item I purchased was not quality- just a plastic pendant. I found the same item of jewelry on Temu for $2.18, whereas I paid $45. Very disappointed with the product (I should have done my research before purchasing). It also took 5 weeks to arrive.

Scam, leaving a review here because they removed my review on their website. Plastic, not as advertised. Took almost 3 weeks to arrive.

Absolute junk. Do not buy from this company. Ordered a necklace. When it arrived it was cheap plastic rubbish and did not resemble the website pictures. Have had better things out of christmas cracker.
SCAM company!!!

Very poor quality, cheap materials. Website details all suggest Dutch high quality but packages shipped from china with similar quality to what you would get from Chinese mass retail sites

Bought some earrings as a secret Santa present. Luckily or unluckily my wife wanted the same so bought her a set too. What arrived was nothing like as advertised. Cheap, nasty, plastic jewellery that I wouldn’t gift to my worst enemy, nothing like photos on the website.
As someone else highlighted when asking for a refund you are offered to ship it to Netherlands at own expense (bit odd as tracking shows it originated in China) or get a voucher for 30% off your next purchase. lol.
Worse than this is that I’ve tried to review on their own website and it disappears leaving only 5 star reviews. Absolutely disgusting. Have written off the £60 I spent as won’t be returning anything. Only fit for the bin.

Ordered some stained glass bird earrings, received cheap coloured plastic bird earrings. Terrible terrible terrible quality. Do not trust the images on the website, have already requested money back. Update: requested return, was given 2 options, either posting the cheap plastic earrings to the Netherlands at a cost of about 80% of what I paid in the first place, or keeping the item and being given a 30% off coupon to buy more cheap plastic rubbish from them. Lose/lose either way. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE

The jewellery is nothing like in the pictures. It is so cheap with stuck-on plastic. Bought as a gift, but wouldn't give it away. Fit only for the bin. SCAMMERS.

The service was good from you, delivery not quite so but I did receive the item eventually. The slippers fit and are comfortable.
