Would 100% recommend

Had the flip face bluetooth helmet and it just stopped turning on contacted viper via amazon and direct they were absolutely fantastic sent a replacement battery and when that didn't work they sent label for the helmet to be sent back and looked at would 100% recommend viper

Viper's customer service is the best!

I spoke with Helen at Viper and she rein stilled my belief in company's wanted to be helpful to their customers. I wanted a replacement visor for a helmet Viper don't manufacture any longer. Helen not only assisted me but went out to Viper's partner network and sent me the link for the equipment I needed. First class support and help. When I next need a helmet I will be going to Helen at Viper for sure. Keep up the excellent work.

Proper customer service

So, brought a new helmet however the beep the Bluetooth made was horrendously loud and no way of turning it down. Spoke to Helen and she said that I could use another module that has a quieter beep. So quickly sent my module to her and she sent the other one back and what a massive difference. No more grimacing when turning the volume up and down. Helen was fantastic, very professional.

Great customer service and support from…

Great customer service and support from Helen and the team. I had a pairing issue and they identified the issue and promptly resolved it for me.
These are great helmets with good sound quality and intercom functionality and at reasonable prices.

My helmet set on fire whilst plugged in…

My helmet set on fire whilst plugged in to charge with the lead supplied. This damaged the helmet due to melting and there was nothing left of the cable. It was less than a year old and had little use. They made me return it at my expense and then a while later asked for the cable, which I had thrown away as they didn’t ask for it. They then suggested it was my fault that it went on fire. This could have burned my house down, I would not recommend buying one of these helmets. Also if you do have a problem it looks like you have no chance of them taking any responsibility. In response to Viper response, I only used the power cable supplied, I don’t have another. I note the warranty is only 6 months and excludes the battery, this says a lot about your confidence in your products. I am not trying to claim warranty I am claiming unfit for purpose and dangerous. I would never treat one of my clients this way.

We are genuinely saddened to read your review following our response to your initial inquiry.

The helmet did not ignite, which means it could not have caused a fire in your home.

The battery overheating was a result of using an incorrect power cable during the charging process. It is crucial to ensure that the proper voltage power supply is utilised when charging any battery.

We conduct comprehensive testing of all helmet components before they reach the market, and verifying they achieve the correct standards is one of our primary tests.

In our previous email correspondence, we requested details about the cable you used and asked for its return for a thorough examination, a record of which we maintain.

While we did not suggest any fault on your part, we sought clarification on the type of cable used, as such issues often arise from utilising an incorrect USB cable.

Additionally, please note that your helmet was no longer under warranty, yet we still made an effort to assist you.

RS V191 Bluetooth Helmet

Great helmet, good fit (XL) and great spec. However I have to mark it down for the position of the charge port, it’s a bit awkward to get to and I’m pretty sure an easier accessible position could be found. Also when on charge the charge cable plug is below the bottom of the helmet means when on charge on a flat surface the weight of the helmet is on the micro USB socket/cable and the USB port leading to possible damage to one or another or both. So when charging please make sure the helmet is supported in such a way that the cable is not supporting the weight of the helmet.

Absolutely shockingly bad design to…

Absolutely shockingly bad design to fail. Only used helmet a few times and the flip up bolts snapped. Cheap metal screws and even had a hole drilled in the screw shaft making them even weaker! Stay clear of this make!

I had a small issue with my 6 month old visor

I had a small issue with my 6 month old Viper RV-171 helmet, where the visor came lose one side and after flapping around at 60mph, it came off. I got in touch with Viper directly and they have been fantastic. I have been dealing with a lady called Helen, who has been brilliant and got back to me straight away. After I sent a few pictures of the visor as requested, Helen has told me that they would send me out a replacement visor, under warranty today. I am very impressed with the after-sales service and I love my Viper helmet. Thank you Helen

I bought a GREAT Viper helmet

I bought a Viper helmet – the Union Jack – at the "Motorräder" trade fair in Dortmund this year. It's superbly made, comfortable to wear, and not noisy. The support team (Helen) is super friendly and responds very quickly. I'm already looking forward to other products in the future.

Great customer service.

Contacted customer services via e-mail regarding a new visor for my RSV171, they responded very quickly with a link to several retailers that could help me out. 5 minutes later new visor purchased. Had 4 Viper helmets (rsv 151, rsv 171 x2 and an rsv141) all have been excellent.

Great Gear, Great Price

Like their gear, have a Bluetooth Helmet and a riding suit. Prices are affordable, helmet has lasted over 2 years now and still works like first day I bought it. Quality gear with prices that don't burst the budget. Would recommend Viper products anyway

I saw a Viper helmet

I saw a Viper helmet at a bike motorbike fair in Leipzig. It fitted, so it was mine. When I got home, I noticed that the sun shield on top was broken. It wasn't easy to see, but it was broken. I sent a request to Viper. They replied promptly and sent the replacement part. So, one more happy customer. Many thanks to Helen.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Miss Helen was very helpful with finding the right visor for my Viper helmet, and I am extremely thankful.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. I was having an issue trying to remove the chin guard from my RS07 so emailed for help. I got a very quick response and when I still couldn’t work it out (my fault entirely) they recorded an instruction email and sent it to me, again very quickly. The helmet is awesome and the support from after sales is one of the best I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend these guys. Thanks Helen and team 👍🏻
