Our History
The Vitality Institute was founded by Dr. Abdala Khalil who created a custom chemical peel for his daughter, Marya, as a solution for her cystic acne at a time when chemical peels were unsafe for skin of color. After Dr. Khalil’s untimely passing, Marya stepped into a leadership role at Vitality Institute and today, is the CEO.
