A buyer takes several goods in one package. All are sold separately and fit it a small package each. Vinted sends a label for a smallest package where several goods must fit? That is fraud.

It's an easy app
It's an easy app. You look for things you want to sell, you make photos an u ploaded then. There are pre-made positions that you can click on. You made a price and everything goes online. Nice people, nice and creative offers, every say new. This app is really Additive.
Another Lawsuit against Vinted
Extremely disappointing and honestly shocking customer service experience with Vinted. I wish I could give 0 STARS!!!!!
I purchased an item through their authentication service. The parcel was sent to Vinted first, authenticated, and then forwarded to me through Hermes. Hermes falsely marked the package as “personally delivered to recipient,” even though I was not even in the city at the alleged delivery time. Estimated delivery was also set from 24-27th but they came 20th. I reported the missing parcel within the required timeframe and I have screenshots proving this. I also submitted all requested documents, including a sworn statement. Vinted then informed me that the Hermes investigation could take up to 35 days and told me to wait.
After waiting exactly as instructed, Vinted suddenly changed their position and claimed I “did not respond within 48 hours,” which is simply untrue and directly contradicted by my documented communication history.
Even worse: I was previously told that the transaction would be cancelled and refunded and now they refuse to honor this.
Customer support has been ignoring my messages almost entirely and keeps repeating scripted responses instead of addressing the actual evidence I provided.
At this point, this feels less like customer support and more like deliberate avoidance of responsibility.
Buyers should be extremely careful when relying on Vinted’s authentication and shipping system, because if something goes wrong, you may end up completely unsupported despite having proof and following every instruction given by the platform.
Lost 500€!!!!! This will go to my lawyer.
Bad platform and terrible CS
Unfortunately, the platform doesn't provide any support, specifically for the seller. I sold and sent a package that got lost by DPD, by their own terms and conditions, I should get my money and the buyer should get a refund, but this is not what happens.
Even though I have the receipt which proves that I have sent my package, they claim that cannot help me and give repeatedly the solution of “posting my item again”, as if they can’t understand that I don’t have the item.
Other than that, even to operate in Germany, they are registered abroad and seems to not care much about German regulations.
They support team shows themselves very unprepared and badly trained several times before, but this was the last. I am looking for a new platform.
SUPPORT COUNTERFEIT ITEMS
SUPPORT COUNTERFEIT ITEMS! I bought a Burberry trench coat on Vinted that was advertised as authentic and even “verified” by Vinted. After receiving it, an official Burberry store confirmed that the item is counterfeit. The serial number label shown in the listing photos does not exist on the actual coat.
Despite this evidence, Vinted still claims the item is authentic and refuses to properly resolve the issue.
Very disappointing experience. Buyers should be careful when purchasing “authenticated” luxury items on Vinted.

Uploading and selling the item is fast forward. I trust the process and had great experience with the delivery service and money transfer. I would recommend Vinted to everyone.

They don't take complaints seriously. I bought something, paid with PayPal, but didn't get the thing that I bought. Happened twice. Lost 100 euro. Lot of untrusted people unfortunately and Vinted doesn't do anything to stop them.
Vinted kept saying: You don't get your money back if you didn't use Vinted Payment. I don't even want my money back, I just want the betrayer to stop. But she could just continue, cause Vinted didn't want to stop her. Very frustrating.
You can easy lost money as seller
They just support buyer and doesn't care about sellers.
I loose 35 EUR, without any compensation. If buyer will not pay you, you will not have chance to argue and will lose money.
I have sold Lamp. It was good packed and send via GLS.
Byer says that it comes Brocken and have send photo of broken glass.
Vinted just returned money to buyer without any evidence.
Buyer got undamaged part of the item and his money back, i just lose everything.
There is no appellation or escalation process, support just repeat the same answer without any evidence.
As result due to bad delivery service or buyer fraud i lost my 35 Euro and some time

Unprofessional Verification Service & Terrible Customer Support
Over the past month, I’ve had two terrible experiences with Vinted that completely destroyed my trust in the platform.
First, a buyer failed to collect a parcel I shipped, which resulted in the item being returned — and then lost. I contacted customer service multiple times asking for assistance and compensation, but received almost no help.
Second, I sold an authentic luxury accessory that I personally purchased directly from the boutique. The buyer selected Vinted’s “Item Verification” service, which I agreed to because I believed it would provide a safe and reliable transaction for both sides.
Instead, their verification team falsely claimed my item was counterfeit. They provided three vague reasons in the report, but when I asked for actual evidence or detailed explanations, they refused to provide any. They also ignored my proof of purchase and warned me that selling “fake” items could restrict my account activity.
I find this extremely unacceptable. Making accusations without evidence damages sellers’ reputation and credibility. On top of that, having a high-value jewelry item repeatedly shipped back and forth creates significant risk.
Customer support was almost useless throughout the process — avoiding my questions, sending repetitive template replies, and repeatedly attempting to close the conversation instead of resolving the issue.
Very disappointing experience overall.
Fraudulent costumer service fees
No costumer service at all - all the replies are from chat bots giving the same generic, unspecified responses. What am I even paying the "buyer protection fee" for? This is fraud. Go to hell, Vinted.
love the shopping – yet headaches from the customer service and fraud
We all love shopping on vented. But the platform itself is terrible. I had money there from sales that I did, three months later the money just disappeared as did the history of my sales.
Also they continously take down photos I took myself of myself, telling me that I am not allowed to upload photos from a website, I want to tell them "Hey that's just a self-portrait in the thing I took myself" but there is no one I can talk to but some useless bots who repeat shallow phrases.
Also one time I sold some expensive shoes and they were stolen along the way. I had proof of the shipping, vented did not help me at all.
So from the perspective of someone who uses the platform to sell things as well, I have never experienced worse customer service in my life.
And the thing with my money disappearing is definitely some fraud too. Maybe the website hopes people won't realise, when they were inactive for a couple of months.
I highly recommend immediately transferring the money you make to your account.
