We recently had our fifth holiday in a Vintage Travel villa, and the standard, as always, was excellent. The villas have all been lovely and exactly as described in the brochure, and support from the local representative has always been first class.
We wouldn’t use anyone else for this type of holiday.

Fourth time we have been with Vintage Travel - never disappointed. Spain Portugal and now South West France - always excellent quailty properties and the front end organisation very efficient and friendly. A great company to do business with.

Superb service from Vintage Travel from start to finish. It was a last minute booking and we ended up in a fantastic villa with amazing views and pool. Linda our local representative was super helpful. The mid week clean of the villa and replacement of towels was a very lovely surprise! Many thanks for making our week so enjoyable.

We loved our villa holiday at Son Monavi in Mallorca. The location is quite rural, which meant it was lovely and quiet. The villa is very modern with all the facilities and a superb pool. It is well designed so that the terrace is in the shade so lunches and dinners are cool. The bedrooms are smart and have good air conditioning. Please note that the tap water is not for drinking etc so you will need to use bottled water for tea, cooking and in the bathroom for tooth cleaning. Otherwise a brilliant villa and highly recommended. Vintage Travel are very attentive and give great support.

Three generations of our family of 15 all enjoyed a wonderful holiday staying in Les Arènes. The very comfortable accommodation spread through the three buildings suited us well. A great pool and large garden allowed for both games and quiet corners. We would happily recommend it.

Vintage Travel would now always be our first choice for a private villa. The service is excellent before, during and after your stay. An extremely personal service. The property was magnificent.

We used Vintage travel for the first time this year after a recommendation, the staff when booking were excellent and very friendly. The villa was beautiful with everything we needed, our rep Valerie was brilliant, sorted out some issues straight away and all maintenance men were very professional and friendly.We would definitely use them again. There were six of us, including 2 children and all loved the pool and grounds. All in all a fantastic holiday.

We’ve trusted Vintage Travel for our family villa holidays for many years. I think the difference is that, no matter where you go, you never worry about the quality of the accommodation. It’s always excellent and they set the standards.

Vintage Travel have arranged our holidays for several years now. Their communication throughout the process is outstanding, making everything clear, simple and straightforward. The villas we have rented have all been as advertised, (no nasty surprises!), and the VT local rep is always on hand and quick to answer queries or fix small problems which arise. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Everything from start to finish was easy to complete with no complications. Every Villa we have stayed in, and there have been a few, has been lovely.

Top company and amazing villas. We used them for the first time for our holiday this year and the service was perfect. Lots of support and info in and out of country.

Will be using again for next years break. The biggest problem with this is where to book. So much choice and they are all stunning places,

Terrible Terrible company and hosts. We were miss sold the holiday which resulted in very unpleasant experience at the villa. Completely ruined our holiday. Be vary warey of this outfit, we were mislead which turned into not just an expensive mistake but an expensive mistake that was very unpleasant. My advice is don't use this outfit as they are not trust worthy.

Have been booking with Vintage for many years and always been a good experience. The most recent villa in Crete was exceptional - Vintage always has a great service ethic from start to finish, but this is backed up with great villas. We had a great time in Greece, thanks to all at VT!

I cannot speak highly enough of Vintage Travel. This was our second holiday with them (this time to Menorca) and once again, as in Portugal last year, the accommodation was immaculate and perfect for our needs.
The communication from start to finish was brilliant and it was extra useful to have Tracey as a local rep with years of Menorcan life experience, to drop by and to have on hand for useful tips.
We have no reason to look elsewhere for a travel company when booking for next year. Keep up the good work!!

The customer service was poor and the villa, which is potentially beautiful and certainly well located, is cheaply equipped and in need of refurbishing.
Our check in time was 5pm which is late. We were asked for flight arrival times as they are considered when allocating cleaners. As we arrived the previous day and as we had young children who would need a meal and to go to bed we asked if we could check in at 3 or 4. We were told we could not as the cleaners needed the full time to clean the villa between the departure of the previous guests (at 10am) and our arrival, as the villa is so big. We were not even allowed to use the pool area as it was considered we might need to use the loo and therefore go in the house and get in the way of the cleaners. In fact there is an outside loo so this was not likely to be a real problem.
We were told we would be contacted if the cleaners finished early and we could have access early.
When we arrived at 1230 to leave the luggage the villa was locked. The welcome pack (including milk) was on the steps in the full sun and there was no sign of any cleaning. The cleaners eventually arrived late afternoon and despite our check in being 5pm at that time they were only cleaning the bedrooms and had not done downstairs or the pool area. They eventually finished at about 630- well after children’s tea and bath time, and well after our appointed check in.
The pool was dirty. We had to clean it ourselves before someone arrived to do it. By contrast the day we left they came at 8am meaning we could not use the pool on the last day.
Four of the beds are effectively camp beds with a metal base that is smaller than the mattress which means that if you sit on the bed it tips up.
The curtains in 3 bedrooms were so poor we had to put towels up to block out the light.
The jacuzzi did not work and could not be repaired until after we left.
The dishwasher only worked on a 3 hour programme - on any other programme everything came out dirty. The instructions were to use a particular detergent which was not supplied and not available in the local shop.
There was a beautiful terrace/ balcony which is the main sitting/dining area. Sadly it was completely unusable during the day as it had no canopies/parasols or ceiling fans.
Understandably the downstairs had no air con - we don't complain about that but there were no ceiling fans anywhere. There were two portable plug in fans which in a large villa were totally inadequate.
The parasols provided round the pool were completely inadequate for 12 people.

This is a villa that has the potential to be superb if it is properly equipped and maintained. It was clearly built and originally furnished to a high standard, but the impression is that as things are replaced that is done cheaply - adults could not have slept on the 4 ‘camp’ beds. There were a lot of other smaller issues - but we were on holiday and did not want to spend time dealing with them. It was a question of just put up with it and enjoy the overall holiday.
We were told by the local rep Julie that the cleaners are arranged by the owners and not Vintage Travel. We were also told Vintage travel are not allowed access until 5pm. That seems to rather contradict the email we received saying if the cleaners finished early we would be contacted by Julie so we could go in early.
Julie the resort rep was very pleasant and tried to be helpful and went out and bought a replacement welcome pack.
The villa is well located for Puerto Pollença and the beach. It has a lovely swimming pool. If we had not had such a bad experience we would very probably have repeated the experience next year however the lack of flexibility in our arrival time - 4pm would not have been unreasonable- and the fact we were told the cleaners needed all day when in fact they clearly did not and as a result did not turn up until late and stayed well after our check in time coupled with the poor standard of the villa means we would not risk a holiday with Vintage travel again.
