Madagascar was a truly memorable tour. Sweeping vistas from rainforest to plains to sandy beaches. As always Vintage Rides has provided a tour that so much more than just riding the road, it is a cultural experience. Exceptional tour guide and wonderful tour companions.
Madagascar is not extreme adventure riding BUT it is an extremely memorable riding adventure.

Great trip, reaching parts of Turkey you would never find yourself. A very knowledgeable and skilful guide. Friends and memories made which will last forever.

The whole trip was amazing from start to finish our guide Dinesh was experienced and knowledgable and took us to some amazing places accommodation was spot on and food throughout the trip was very good. Even the local chicken 🐔

Excellent trip with VR in Nepal. Led by Deepak and his team. Challenging experience and a real adventure. A mix of basic and luxury accomodation with the ride difficulty matched to the groups experience. Good overall value and a supportive and enthusiastic team.

A great trip to the Land of the Maharajas, then two extensions to Agra and Amritsar.
Harshu was a great tour leader keeping us together for the 1800kms.
He was personable, knowledgeable and sorted out any problems we might have.
Brijesh was a fine mechanic, keeping the machines running in very harsh conditions.
Only criticism would be the lack of info beforehand for the two extensions but somehow they worked brilliantly.

Just returned from a great trip with VR exploring Northern India on the 'Land of Maharajas' tour. The overall organisation of everything was very well done from the pre trip arrangements, meet and greet at the airport and throughout the tour. The Royal Enfield 500 Bullet is the ideal bike for this type of trip - a few problems of punctures and the odd flat battery but all fixed super quick by our mechanic and all part of the experience. Harshu our tour leader was superb and the support from all the team throughout the trip was great. Certainly plan to book another trip - just have to decide where next.

My friend and I recently returned from a trip to Bhutan with Vintage Rides which was truly excellent and and despite the unexpected difficulty experienced exiting the country, VR and their agents responded quickly and successfully got all of their riders back to Delhi
safely.

The exiting journey took us over night, but merely added to our adventure, so thank you Vintage Rides for your amazing efforts and for what was a truly memorable trip!

Here we go again! This time 9 blokes instead of 8 on a bender in Thailand/Laos November 2019. We had a new guide this time round.
Francois was replaced with Tristan a younger version for our guide.
One thing is for sure he can drink more than Francois !
Picked up from the Airport and taken to our lovely hotel. We watched
England thrash New Zealand at the Rugby with our guide to get the measure of him and it was light drinking with an old mate supporting England all the way!
The ride itself went like clockwork - Great bikes and superb back up.
"Ding Ding" the head mechanic was always there to solve any problems with the bikes.
"Ting Tong" the fixer was great and found us $1 whiskey most nights,
The Laos trip offered all terrain riding and was another trip bagged for our group with VR.
If you are British and looking for a company that does ever thing so well then you need to book with this company. We are returning in 2021 to South Africa with VR. Bring it on.... Doddy.

The trip was one of the most memorable of my motorcycling life.
Bali and Java are two very different places full of surprises around every corner with Bali being green and lush and Java being more volcanic.
Exploring these places on a Royal Enfield just adds to the Magic and soon you feel part of the culture and the faith structure of the islands.
Vintage rides made the experience very enjoyable from the booking and admin support to the actual trip. The guide was knowledgeable and knew his stuff, he was very personable and led the group well
He took us to places well off the tourist trail and was informative in his description.
I would recommend Vintage Rides to anyone seeking adventure on a motorcycle.

One of the most challenging and intense experiences of my life. The route was extreme and remote, but the scenery and experience were both spectacular. The weather provided every season from snow and ice to heat and monsoon rains. Accommodations were rudimentary in the more remote areas, so do not expect luxury. The motorcycles are easy to ride, but well used. Our guide was great, and the support team efficiently fixed any issues with the bikes. This is not a trip for everyone, but I am so pleased I did it.

Vintage Rides, are a great outfit, providing great bikes,fabulous itinerary, accommodation and crew, could not do enough to ensure we were all happy.This was my third trip, and not my last.

The best vacation with a great guide and group

Vintage Rides delivered as they said they would, from the initial booking and liaising (which was all done via phone and internet as I am based in Australia) to the actual trip. There wasn't one thing that I could fault, the bikes were great and suited to the riding conditions, accommodation was great for the region, food was always plentiful and high quality. Our Guide, Mechanic and Support Driver were great and a fun part of the group and also very helpful and supportive. I enjoyed Vintage Rides that much that I am planning another trip in the future as it was that much fun.

My 2nd trip with Vintage Rides and yet another brilliant trip exploring another aspect of India.This was an 'adventure' trip to the Himalays so less comfort and more difficult riding conditions , so if you aren't prepared..beware!. If you have all the riding kit, then it's brilliant.
Just booked my 3rd trip with them , so that says it all

If you're going to do something different, then do it differently; properly. Do it the Vintage way.
We traveled, We wined and dined; We laughed and swore: We lived.
Traveling the highways(literally) and byways of Peru was a super experience. In fantastic company, understood and overawed by all and sundry. From the altiplano to the Amazon basin, it was glorious.

In one trip we had excitement, culture, variety, archaeology and friendship under a mantle of superb stewardship. Through the efforts of Josh (our leader) and Florian; everyone was made to feel Welcome, valued and subsequently missed. Great job guys/gals who integrated all the pieces to produce the whole. Thank you.

It was the first time I travelled with Vintage Rides and I could not be more happy: mythic bikes, amazing landscapes and a great team from booking to guides.
A real adventure I will not forget... and try to come back on another tour for sure!

From the moment I was met at Ulaanbaatar airport to the moment of my departure my dealings with Vintage Rides was a smooth and professional process. The Hotel was a more than I expected, and the free breakfast every morning was most welcome.
The actual bike tour however was something else, and all in all an unforgettable experience. Everyday we rode on different terrain in different conditions all the while surrounded by spectacular scenery. One day your riding on an ice covered lake under clear blue skies and the next your forging your way through ice and slush as they snow falls all around. A pure riding experience for the motorcycle connoisseur. We also experienced local food, customs and hospitality as we were lucky enough to stay with traditional Mongolian families.
The support staff were outstanding, taking care of all our needs. Especially the mechanic whom seemingly performed miracles at the end of every days ride to keep us all on the road. And then there were our guides Francois and Jean. I cannot speak more highly of these two, especially Francois, he has the patients of a saint and dealt with all dramas in a cool calm and collected manner.
Simply an experience I wont forget in a hurry and my hope is to ride with Vintage Rides again someday.
