We waited and waited and waited… eventually the box arrived. Three pairs of the same Jean! We asked for dark and baggy., we got light blue and tight fitting!!! Obviously my son cannot wear these! They make it difficult to return with very unfair terms and conditions! Absolute scam! AVOID!!!!

They are a scam, we spent 239.90 on ill fitting rubbish, in June this year, had to pay to send them back. We then received a credit note which didn’t work. They still have my money and we have no goods! Despite 10 emails we have not heard back from them.
They are thieves!

this company deletes negative reviews, scams customers with mystery boxes and doesn’t pay the mural artist for the beautiful bears in their shop.

Doesn’t send out merchandise.
No customer service.
Didn’t pay their mural artist.
All round scammers.

Absolute scam waste of money and won't give you refund knowing they gave me girls childs clothing I mean wtaf, absolutely nothing vintage about it 1 out of all the items fit the rest is charity shop crap and by that I mean stuff that charity shops parm off on other charity shops

Beware of this company. They'll sell you $250 mystery boxes, asking you to choose your preference of clothing brands. You'll be lucky to get any of the clothing brands you chose. What arrives in the box is smelly odour, stained, garbage clothes.
When you make a complaint, you'll get computer generated response that go on for weeks.
Not sure how a company like this can operate.

Don’t bother with this place,

Paid two hundred and fifty bucks for a premium outfit bundle and asked for multiple brands and proceeded to not get a single brand just stuff you can get from the op shop for 3 dollars. Asked for sweatshirts and got hoodies, asked for medium and got mainly large. Took like 3 weeks to come as well paying 16 for express shipping

Customer service is abysmal as well.

Awful business, heed the bad reviews on here, any good review must be bots or friend of the owners. I bought a mystery box on a whim, got terrible rags that weren't the brands I requested. I asked for a refund, they say they won't give them (ACCC says you can't do this by the way) and would be happy for me to return the box and give me store credit.

They did not give me a return shipping slip (meaning I would have to pay to ship the box back, then pay to ship a new box to me) which I wouldn't do.

We went back and forth in email over several weeks because they try to ignore you, where I requested either a refund or a paid return label to send the items back. After being ignored again, I just lodged a complaint with ACCC about misleading advertising, and disputed the charge with my bank.

The bank ruled in my favour so I got my money back from them and they don't get their garbage clothes back, I'm chucking them in the salvos bin. I wish I saw these reviews before buying, they must scrub all bad reviews from Google and Facebook. If you've been burned, I strongly encourage you to submit a charge back request through your bank, you will probably win and they will get slugged with chargeback fees and hopefully the payment processors up their ongoing fees too.

Awful company to deal with. Ordered a mystery box. I asked for pants, but received shorts. My preferences for brands were Nike, Dickies, Carhartt, Stussy, Levi, Wrangler, Billabong, Patagonia. The items I received were Fila and Tommy Hilfiger. I understand the nature of vintage clothing means that it’s probably quite difficult to guarantee certain brands and styles, but I feel like the items I was given was really not reflective of what I was hoping for. I asked for a return and refund. Thankfully, I was granted a return, but only for store credit. Their cringey AI-generated default email responses consistently ignored my request for a full refund rather than store credit. To their credit, the store credit is more than what I paid, but I'd personally rather not deal with this scammy company any further. As the items I received were NOT reflective of what I ordered, I should be receiving a full refund as per Australian Consumer Law.

Other customers should also be aware that the reviews on their website are quite obviously fake. There's not a single review below 5 stars, and the photos used are stolen from social media influencers, the majority of which aren't even Australian.

If you're set on trying to scam people, at least try and do it well.

Edit (2/09/2025): They continued to refuse a refund. I lodged a dispute with my bank, and after 3 weeks they refunded my account directly.

Full of promises, but no delivery. I placed an order and was told it was on the way — it never arrived. After reaching out, they apologised, sent me a gift card, and said they’d resend the order. Again, nothing showed up.

I’ve now sent multiple emails requesting a refund over the past two weeks and have received no reply. At this point, it feels like I’ve been ignored and taken advantage of.

I strongly do not recommend ordering from this company. Poor service, broken promises, and no accountability

Don't shop at this place, the stylist for the mystery boxes are unreliable and inconsistent, the other products do not point out obvious flaws and blemishes of the piece, leaving the experience extremely disappointing. Furthermore, they are unable to provide a full refund for a product order which THEY cancelled. Customer service is slow and sometimes non existent. Don't waste your time here.

Be warned! This company sends uttter rubbish: stained, unwearable, wrong sized, garbage that is in no way premium or vintage. A total scam. Can’t believe trustpilot allows what must be fake reviews, easy to check a box to say your review is legit. Awful how such a company is allowed to operate when so many people have obviously been ripped off. Read the other reviews and avoid them.

Shopping with Vintagebox.com was the most appalling customer support experience I've ever had in my life.

My order arrived 2 weeks late, the quality of the products I received were of a shocking quality, and it has since been 2 months since I requested a return and credit and they still haven't done anything.

Every correspondence with Vintagebox was through automated email messages, even if you specifically request to talk to a actual representative they will ignore you or not respond.

It has got to the point where I've lodged a dispute against them with my bank for unfair trading.

I implore you to do you absolute best to avoid Vintagebox.com at all costs.
