I don't understand these bad reviews on here??? I went on the actual site (make sure that you are not on a different one claiming to be them or using their name but the actual .com is different) and I put 2 different vin numbers in of 2 cars I'm interested in and I had free info on them within a minute. Its free!! They do not give you a long detailed report like carfax but those you pay alot for. They do tell you if any accidents, flood or stolen history is reported for your vehicle. This site deserves a lot more credit and better reviews! Thank you for your help (:

Got a detailed report that helped me…

Got a detailed report that helped me avoid buying a flood-damaged car, and honestly, the peace of mind it gave me was worth every second spent reading through the data.

Scam Do NoT Use

I can say the same as people below, they charged me 30$ for nothing, I'm chasing them for about 2 months now and nothing, they returned to me only 1 dollar, and charged me 29$ for a subscription, I'm not stupid, I didn't choose that option, that came out of nowhere and report I received was totally empty. They are stealing money from the people, DO NOT use their services! I can show print screens of your support. How dare you still insist that it is a free service, if so return me back the 29$.

Hi,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Please note that VinCheckPro.com is now under new ownership and is a 100% free service — we do not charge users or request payment at any point, nor do we use PayPal for transactions.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have been directed to a different website impersonating our brand as part of a common online scam targeting vehicle sellers. We strongly encourage users to double-check the URL (www.vincheckpro.com) to ensure they are using the correct, official site.

We’re glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue through PayPal, and if you ever need a free VIN check or vehicle history report, we’re here to help.

Sincerely,
The VinCheckPro.com Team

Claims to be free but isnt

Claims to be free, because their mission is to provide free and accurate vehicle history details to the average person before they put their money into a vehicle. However, when you go to access the report, it costs a minimum of $12. Nothing to use here is free. False advertising

Wish I had checked reviews before I…

Wish I had checked reviews before I paid for a report. It was a total scam and the info that was given was incorrect (said that no accidents were found and I know the Georgia State Patrol issued an accident report when someone rear-ended me).

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience. It’s likely that your report was purchased prior to VinCheckPro.com’s recent transition — the site was previously operated by a different company and may have charged for reports at that time.

VinCheckPro.com is now under new ownership and proudly offers 100% free VIN checks and vehicle history reports. We do not charge users at any point to access our services.

Please note that our reports are sourced from the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS). Accident records will only appear if they have been reported to NMVTIS and have impacted the vehicle’s title status (e.g., resulting in a salvage or total loss title). Accidents that do not meet these criteria may not appear in our reports.

If you’d like to try our free report or have any questions, we’re happy to help.

Sincerely,
The VinCheckPro.com Team

Gullibility tax

The $6.95 for the report is a gullibility tax. It had no information other than the vehicle specs, not even the color of the car. The car's owner was at fault in a serious crash which was reported to and covered by its auto policy. There's an outstanding repair recall. The owner died and the tabs expired two years ago. There's a lien on the title. The car was stolen. Before the theft was reported the thief took it to a mechanic who updated the mileage in a system other services accessed but this one didn't (last reported mileage was 39,000 miles, this report showed 19). Most of that information should have been in the report. If you're buying a used car, just spend the extra money for a real report from AutoCheck or CarFax. Saving $20 or $30 on the vehicle history will cost you so much more in the end.

Garbage site

Garbage site. Customer service took 2 weeks to respond to an offer for help. Then committed to fix. Then ghosted me. . Paid for 5 reports, after bring up 3 and storing them in the "my reports" section, all 3 were relegated to "basic report" status in which i would have to pay again to access them or print them out.

Don't waste your money on Vincheckpro

The carfax report from the dealer had more information than Vincheck pro. The carfax said it had damage to the bumper and side panel. vincheck didn't have this. Also, Carfax had a number of owners and if it was a lease vehicle. Vin check had nothing. Don't waste your money.
