Worst ever customer service I've ever…

Worst ever customer service I've ever had.

Never book a hotel from Strawberry. They will lie, deceive and stall you to get your money. The customer service is not only terrible it is also slow eating up your time. I will never book another hotel through Strawberry again.

Horrible hotel

As a conference guest, I biked to the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have any parking places for bikes.
I asked in the reception where I could park my bike. In the afternoon, I found my bike thrown into the ground and it turns out that the staff themselves have done it. My bike was full of scratches after visiting the ground.
The hotel offered me one (1) free drink at their expense. When I refused and asked them to fix the scratches on my bike that ignored me.

5* hotel ruins your belonging and offer 1 free drink

I was invited to a conference at Villa Copenhagen. I biked to the hotel and there was no parking places for bikes. I asked at the reception if I were allowed to park my bike where I did. And the receptionist confirmed.
When I came out later in the afternoon, the staff of the hotel has thrown my bike to the ground and now it was full of scratches. The hotel offered me ONE free drink. When I refused to accept, they could not care less. I cannot recommend this arrogant hotel. Now I have a cost to fix my bike.

The room 1064 is a cramped corner room…

The room 1064 is a cramped corner room NOT a suite junior/senior or any other variation of the word.
There is NOT a separate lounge area as advertised. The “lounge area” is the 2,5 meter passage between the door and the bed.

There is a king size bed, with queen size bed linnen.
There is a small Ikea style dresser with one tiny cupboard. Virtually no storage.
We were locked out of the room 3 times yesterday. The key cards only work intermittantly, not nice when you are standing in a bathing robe after a pool visit on the stairs.
The staff in reception seem confused, one of them unable to find my reservation twice(to make new key cards), the third time unconcerned.
This is the third time I have visited Villa, the two first times I booked a double deluxe, better laid out a considerably cheaper.
This was to be a luxurious upgrade...a special romantic retreat for my partner and I...
I am left disappointed and feel let down.
Definately the last time I come here, not an experience I would recommend to anyone.
Update. Another visit to reception, a rather off hand young man seems to be telling me it’s all my own fault or my imagination. Selective deafness. Is anyone here hospitality trained? Noone speaks Danish, few have an acceptable level of English, saying “can I help you” every two seconds with strange accents and inflections is getting kind of creepy!
Is this place just a part time job for euro-students?

Hotel has no real food for lunch

Hotel has no real food for lunch, room service or Dinner. Its crazy How a 5 star hotel doesnt have basics such as food. Breakfast is a long queue and ver load. Not a great experience

We have just got back and had a great…

We have just got back and had a great time. We got married in copenhagen so they give us a free upgrade and bottle of champagne plus face care kit. Also the manager found us and gave us another bottle of champagne to drink in the bar while listening to the live music. Pool was amazing and hotel was very quiet.

Have to pay extra for limited pool access?? :-(

So... after 9 visits to this amazing hotel - things have changed! :-(
The fools have decided to charge access pr person for the pool (their best feature) as well as limit it to 45 min.
They argue that charging access to a wellness area is normal - BUT IT IS NOT A WELLNESS AREA! It is a pool - albeit a great one - and SHOULD BE PART OF THE NORMAL PACKAGE!
As it is - the prices are somewhat elevated but that is fine for the quality.
But I refuse to go back now if one has to pay extra and be limited in the time in the pool.
It is VERY ANNOYING to have sit in ones room with kids, and wait around for a few hours for ones 45 min time slot.
Sadly - this initiative is not even a COVID initiative.. they are just trying to earn more money.
So... Guldsmeden and Nimb... coming back to you. Good bye Villa. :-(

The best!

Best hotel in Copenhagen. Went there just before Xmas and we got the best treatment. Super cozy, great breakfast and service. The pool is so amazing. Really happy of the overall experience!

Hotel has a lot of potential but…

Hotel has a lot of potential but service levels are simply not at a level expected for five star hotel. Long queue at check in, room keys not functioning properly, service/tidying of the room not done before 5pm, despite claim of pool hours being for swimming btw 6-9 there was no control of that and it was impossible to swim .... All in all a very poor experience not living up to what should be delivered in such beautiful buildings...
