Absolute garbage. They have no idea what they're doing with tax issues or immigration issues. You wind up having to do nearly everything yourself and hold their hand through processes they should be guiding you through. At the end of the day, it's a huge waste of time because it'd be faster to do it yourself on your own instead of having to do it yourself and then walk them through it. If I hadn't been forced to use their "services" for three years by my company, I would have walked away within the first month. They take forever to get back to you about anything and when they do, they don't give helpful information. They request information, you give it to them, and then they ask you for it again a month later and tell you that some process has been delayed because you didn't provide whatever it was that you definitely provided a month ago. Avoid them if you can.

Very very bad and slow process. Not at all recommended.

They have absolutely no clue how different visa permissions work and what needs to be done if anything goes wrong. So in difficult situations, you are on your own and they will not reply to emails or answer your calls. Absolutely useless for immigration services. I need to contact my work to get rid of them.

Horrible company (UK side). I unfortunately had Vialto contracted by my company to file my self assessment tax return in the UK. Everything is just a mess. It starts with their forms beeing trash and looking like they have been set up by a 5 year old, also not applicable to my case. Any comments I made there have never been picked up. Then, as soon as they have the information to action the case, they don't react and delay the process until it is too late and penatly fees for late filing and numerous letters from the HMRC etc started flying in. Most emails to remind them and express my concern were ignored and/or not answered properly and/or no action was taken. The day before some deadline I receive a WRONG(!) assessment for my review with two emails to pressur me to approve. Prompt response with my concerns got ignored. Eventually I had to escalate to the highest level (C-level) to get some poor woman to finally action my case (one could clearly see how much pressure she got then from her superiors). Of course they asked for ridiculous amounts of money in addition as a consequence from my company. God knows, if they actually paid that. The amount of private hours I had to sink into this is not countable. 0/10 experience. By any means, go somewhere else!!!

Absolutely awful experience filling taxes. Impossible to to talk to anyone remotely competent and their software is riddled with errors.

If you work at Amazon and your choice is between someone else and Vailto, choose someone else. I know the other choice is rated lower but Vailto is unresponsive, doesn't answer my questions, and has given me incorrect guidance during my transition from Canada to USA.

Worst tax advisor ever: do not use these people; they are completely incompetent in filing anything on time, get the most basic data wrong, people change constantly, are completely unresponsive in terms of client communication. We hired them to have our cross border assignees supported and in good hands - the opposite is the case.

The lack of communication is incredible. Such a horrible experience. I do not recommend this company to anybody. Find a company that actually supports you.

Just a terribly frustrating experience all around-they are shamelessly unresponsive and at each, literally each, step I've had to follow up multiple times to even get a response. On top of that the returns that these 'tax experts' prepared for me & my wife were incorrect- thrice for me and twice for my wife. I had to learn about the taxation rules myself and then correct their errors. Avoid them at all costs.

Vialto completed my return as part of a secondment to the UK, which involved some complicated matters between two countries. Timely responses and clear support given. Great service and app.

You would be better off doing it yourself.
Their process is for you to fill in a form and do all the work yourself and never deal with a real person.
They don't advertise phone numbers or addresses and i suspect it is so nobody can actually contact them.

If your company arranges for Vialto services, request a change before it is too late!
They have just cost me an 1800 euro tax refund due to not updating my bank details as requested on my first appointment with them, and being reminded in every follow-up meeting. In my colleugues case, they submitted her tax return after the deadline and she had to go through heaps of red tape to fix it. They cause more problems than what they help with. Every quesion or request 'is out of scope' and then it takes weeks to get authorisation for them to do what one would think is a logical part of the basic process.

Immigration/Visa support with simple questions is not professional. There is No responsibility only mails with 0 results… no willing to cooperate only one generic opinion. It seems for me this Vialto company use chatbot for advice with extremely high costs.

The immigration service is helpful, overload but helpful.

However US tax service is super slow replying.
They are not even replying if there are time sensitive items with tax authorities.
Everything outsourced. No responsibility.
Telephone number not working.
No escalation process.

Messed up my tax returns and got me 200k DKK in tax debts. Wouldn’t have gotten into the situation if I did the tax returns myself.

I did everything I could to make them fix it. The process is lengthy took 2 years, confusing and at the end nothing got fixed

I used their service to file tax self-assessment in the UK.
1/ Awful service -- they messed up self-assessment and I had to check very thoroughly their calculations
2/ Communication was virtually non-existent. After filling out initial questionnaire, they went silent for a few months, I had to chase them multiple times to get my self-assessment form from them. When I had questions, they just ignored my emails (in two months period, I wrote them approximately 10 emails with questions/pings, and got ZERO replies from them; they responded only when I escalated the issue through my employer).
3/ They keep spamming me (4 identical emails in last month) soliciting that I use their service for next tax year (no way) and there is no link/button to unsubscribe.

Absolutely despicable service. They gave us outdated information for our visas which resulted in us losing weeks and thousands of our own dollars travelling to and from the Belgium embassy. Not to mention their lack of accountability for their mistakes, turnaround time on requests and response time on e-mails.

What a bad taste these utterly useless people put in our mouths before emigrating.

If it was possible to give a negative star rating then i would. This company should be avoided at all costs. Myself and some colleagues have been waiting for simple tax returns to be done and they still have not been done properly. This is a poorly managed, amateur organisation who are too big to care about their customers. Avoid at all cost.
