We were not picked up from airport at Toulouse, they claim they waited for us for 1 hour and 22 minutes. But 30 minutes after we had landed (we landed as scheduled), two of us went to the pick-up-area nobody with a sign was there and they asked around - we were at the right place for picking up (meanwhile two of us had to make claims for four missing bags). The rest of us came to the area after 45 minutes and found we have no transport to our destination, a 1,5 hour drive from the Airport.
We called the two numbers on the Vouchers in total 6 times, beginning as soon as we understood we must make baggage claims, until we gave up and were convinced that we had been cheated of 350 euros. We called in total for 1,5 hours and only got a French voice mail… We had to book a rental car to go to the village where the vacation on a boat was about to start.
We’ have sent evidence of the phonecalls/ call-logs. We have sent them the lost-luggage-reports and the rental-car booking (why would we book a rental on the spot when we paid for a private driver!?) We did not want to drive ourselves because we then needed to take a taxi from a nearby village (the nearest AVIS-office) to the terminus, the plan was to be driven all the way to the final destination.
We had also started our journey at 04.30 in the morning and were quite dizzy by early afternoon…
But they choose to believe the driver who says this was a no-show! (Who made 350 euro, not having to make the drive)
We have waited over a month to make this review - giving them a chance to refund our money and believe the customer instead of the driver. But they don't give a sh-t.
So save money and annoyance and book a private taxi somewhere else or consider a rental car!

We had pre-booked and paid to be picked up at Samos airport. The plane arrived on time and we were quickly in the arrival hall, but there was no driver. We called the number on the booking and were told that the driver was unfortunately late. We waited 30 minutes and called again, were told the driver would be there within 15 minutes. We waited in vain. An hour after arrival we took a taxi to the hotel.
Here, 6 weeks later, we have received an answer to our complaint. They claim, without any documentation, that the driver contacted us to say he would be 15 minutes late and then waited in vain for us with a sign in the arrivals hall. Therefore, the case is closed and we are not entitled to get our money back.
Samos airport is not very big and we were pretty much the only tourists there, after everyone else from the plane had left.
I would caution anyone to do business with this company.

He ended up paying for a taxi after 75 minutes. I am dealing with Karin at ShuttlesDirect who does not even care and tells me to contact them direct... even though they work for FlyBus?? I feel this is a scam company to be honest.

DREADFUL! THEY WERE NOT THERE ON ARRIVAL AT SALSBURG AIRPORT AUSTRIA. IT WAS OUR HONEYMOON, I HAD COMMUNICATED WITH THEM PREVIOUSLY BY EMAIL TO MAKE SURE THEY WOULD BE THERE AND HAVE NO DELAYS AS WE WANTED THE HONEYMOON TO START ASAP. I WALKED THE AIRPORT LOOKING FOR THE DIRVER, I CALLED SHUTTLE DIRECT (NO ANSWER), I EMAILED AND I CALLED AGAIN, EMAILED AGAIN. WE WAITED 40 MINUTES AND FINALLY THE DRIVER WALKS INTO THE AIRPORT TO COLLECT US. I HAVE EMAILED MY COMPLAINT TO SHUTTLE DIRECT BUT THEY ARE BOUNCING ME AROUND. NO INTENSION OF A REFUND OR CREDIT NOTE. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!

We paid online for an airport shuttle service in Fuerteventura and received a confirmation. I called the next day to ensure that they were coming and they said yes. On the day they were meant to pick us up, I called again to verify that they would be coming. They told me that there was no bus coming because I didn't confirm. Nowhere on the confirmation email did it say that I needed to confirm. Apparently calling to confirm and paying wasn't enough to actually confirm the service. I was also told that I needed to contact the driver, whose number did not appear in any email. In the end, we were fortunately able to get the last taxi in the area because they are few and far between. Leason learned, please don't use this service.

Left at bus station 1.3km from hotel
We booked a coach transfer from Girona Airport to our hotel in Tossa de Mar. Having made the same journey before, we knew the coach couldn't stop outside our hotel as the road is too narrow and could instead drop us at a stop local to the hotel. This time the driver refused to take us further than the bus station, a 1.3km walk to our hotel. Luckily we could google the route. On the return journey we were expected to walk the same journey uphill in the dark to meet the coach at the bus station at 5.30am. We are over 60 years old and found this unacceptable. Its never happened before in all the times we've been to Tossa de Mar. I complained and got nowhere. They basically this is acceptable. We had no choice but to take a taxi to Girona for the return journey. Do I recommend? Certainly not.

After a half-hour walk we found the hotel - which turned out to be on the main road into Tossa!! I reported all of this and a mock investigation was undertaken, after which they washed their hands of us saying it's all in the terms and conditions small print. I looked again at the terms myself and they could essentially drop you wherever they felt like, in a totally different town if they wanted. They are cowboy scammers just ripping off unsuspecting people. Please avoid.

Booked pickup in Torremolinos and left stranded by them at 6 AM. Their "out of hours" phone line is plain out of order (no answer). Bus company: Autocares Bravo SA. Booked via Shuttledirect.com, who also did nothing to answer my complaint. AVOID THESE COWBOYS !!

Don't use them! The bus I had in Majorca dropped me 30 minutes from my hotel and I had to walk in the heat and ask directions before finding my hotel. The customer service blamed the bus company but ultimately, they are to blame as they arrange. I do not recommend them, waste of money and good luck getting to your destination!!!

No Show
We followed the provided instructions and expected to be met by a staff member in a yellow tee shirt. Nobody met us. We waited 45 minutes. We wandered the airport and finally found a small kiosk fir the company. No apology. The offer of the next bus in twenty minutes. We took a cab and arrived at our hotel within fifteen minutes and the cost was only slightly more. We decided not to use this company to return to the airport but to take a taxi instead.
Worst communication
Our travel agent booked our transfers in Barcelona with this company because Expedia recommended them. They arranged our pick up time from the airport to the hotel at the time of booking and didn’t require a confirmation call. However they refused to give a pick up time for our return trip from hotel to airport which was on Monday morning but insisted we have the hotel confirm it in Barcelona. Our travel agent suggested a time of 0730 Monday based on our flight time. In Barcelona we tried to call to confirm a pickup time but found out they were closed all weekend till Monday at nine a.m. long after we had to leave. We also sent several emails to try to confirm our ride but got no response. The hotel said they usually get confirmation faxes from transfer companies but nothing arrived for us from them. On Monday morning we waited till 8 a.m. and still couldn’t reach them. Finally we took a cab to the airport at our own expense even though we had already paid 80 euro for the ride. We don’t know what time they finally arrived as they never said, but they claimed we were a no-show even though they were the no-show. On our return our travel agent tried to sort it out and get our money back since they didn’t provide a service and their inaccessibility and poor communication and booking policies led to undue stress. They refused to refund our money and considered the case closed. Needless to say, we are miffed and will never use them again. We will also tell others not to use them. Our travel agent will do the same and report this incident to Expedia so they will stop recommending them in future.

DO NOT USE THIS SHUTTLE COMPANY. This is the worst service we have ever booked and cost us extra travel fees that they are refusing to refund. Their website states transfers from airport to hotel in 45-60 minutes. They took 2 and a half hours to take myself, husband and 2 year old to our hotel. When we complained they cancelled our service without telling us amd left us standing at our hotel stranded. We waited for 20 minutes after our pick up time to realise something was not right, the numbers they give you do not work!! In the end a member of the hotel kindly helped us and ordered us a taxi which cost €80 which we had to pay or miss our flight. We have kept all receipts complained to the company and they have not even thought to refund us for anything. Please DO NOT book this shuttle service, they are on 2 stars for a reason. Utterly disappointed and angry that they have ignored the bad service we have received.
Viajes Alameda is a horrible company
Viajes Alameda is a horrible company. They didn't pick us up at Barcelona airport. We called them and there was a recording saying that their office was closed (at about 4:36 pm on a Saturday). When I asked for a refund from Expedia they said that they will do what the company says. The company said they were "available" to pick us up. But, they did not come to pick us up, they didn't call or text us, nor did they answer their phones.
Shame on Expedia for not refunding our money.
Do not book with Viajes Alameda
Do not book with Viajes Alameda unless you want to be scammed. I should have read the reviews earlier and I wouldn't have booked in the first place. I booked a service from Málaga to Granada, prepaid and received a confirmation and a voucher, all confirmed, no mention at all that the booking was a tentative reservation but clearly said it was paid for and confirmed.
They write me an e-mail 10 days later saying that what I did was a booking request that was not confirmed until the transport company accepted the request. First lie, cause there was definitely no mention of that at all in the booking confirmation nor in the voucher. They said that the price had gone up to over the double of what I paid, and I could contact them to pay for the difference accepting the new price or cancel the booking.
They cancelled my confirmed and prepaid booking and refunded me. They clearly tried to fool me because they published the wrong price and then made up that argument about the "booking request".
I contacted customer service by phone, they told me someone would contact me next Monday. Obviously no one did. I wrote them an email, they answered and asked me to explained the situation and after that, never heard back from them.
It's not an awful customer service, it's just non-existing.
VIAJES ALAMEDA / SHUTTLE DIRECT WARNING
I don’t usually write reviews, but have to warn about VIAJES ALAMEDA (also operating as SHUTTLE DIRECT via EXPEDIA). We booked them through Expedia for an airport transfer to pick up my family in Barcelona. They didn’t turn up. Only an answerphone on in their office. No subsequent apology. Spoke to a really rude lady in their office afterwards who refused to even speak about it!
Only after several emails and a lot of time did EXPEDIA finally agree to refund us. Having read all the reviews now, I’m amazed this company is still in business.
