Not just canceled the sale few minutes before the event,
Now you try to charge me 100€!!!!
I had an extremely suspicious and frustrating experience with Viagogo.
I tried to buy tickets for an event. Three separate times I selected tickets, completed the payment process, and received an official order confirmation email from Viagogo. However, every single time, around 15–30 minutes later, I received another email saying that the seller had cancelled the order.
The most suspicious part is that after each cancellation, the exact same tickets appeared again on the platform, but at a significantly higher price.
By the third purchase attempt, the total price had increased by around €100 compared to my original purchase attempt.
This creates a very strong impression that sellers are abusing the platform:
they list tickets, wait to see if there is demand, cancel the order, then relist the same tickets at a higher price to push buyers into paying more and more.
As a result, buying tickets becomes nearly impossible unless someone finally gives up and overpays massively.
This system feels extremely manipulative and scam-like. A confirmed order should not be repeatedly cancelled by sellers while the same tickets immediately reappear at higher prices.
Very disappointing experience.

‼️‼️‼️Viagogo ruined our concert experience and cost us much more than just the tickets. We traveled from Greece to Germany for the Billie Eilish concert in Cologne, only for our tickets to be cancelled last-minute — after we had already arrived. We had confirmed multiple times with their customer service that we would receive the tickets, but we received a cancellation email 30 minutes after the concert started.
Viagogo refunded the cost of the tickets, but refused to compensate for our other expenses (flights, hotel, phone calls) or the emotional distress caused. Their support offered only a voucher for future use, which we refused — we will never use this service again.
Viagogo does not take responsibility for their sellers or customers, and this experience has been both costly and deeply disappointing. Be wary if you consider using their platform.
