Matt was a great salesman. Friendly, helpful, competent and informative - a great experience.
The other members of the Used Commercials Team were very welcoming too and Reception.
Parking is the only area that needs attention - there is a severe lack of customer/visitor parking at the site which needs addressing.

Avoid: Deposit taken on a vehicle that wasn't even theirs to sell
I put down a £99 deposit on a VW Tiguan advertised at £18,116, believing it was reserved. It later turned out the car had already been transferred internally to another Vertu branch hours before I even paid my deposit — meaning it was never available to me in the first place.
Instead of being told this clearly, I was fobbed off with a story that the car had been "sold to a third party" and was "awaiting finance confirmation." I spent an entire Sunday chasing this up — four phone calls between 11:53am and 5:56pm — only to be told at the end of the day that nothing could be done because "the overnight system couldn't update."
When I pushed back and got a written response from the General Manager, the real story came out: the car had been reallocated to another branch that morning and relisted there at £21,999 — nearly £4,000 more than the price I'd agreed to pay.
To their credit, they refunded my £99 deposit. But they've refused any compensation for the wasted day, the misleading explanation I was given at the time, or the fact that I turned down another car I was seriously considering because I believed I'd secured this one.
If you're dealing with this dealership, get everything in writing and don't take a "reservation" at face value — it may not mean what you think it means.

I purchased a new VW Crafter. For me this was my dream vehicle to build a camper. Firstly the price of the vehicle was super competitive against the rest of the market which is completely inconsistent. I had the pleasure of dealing with Kieran, top class geezer, really helpful!! New car purchase
Recently visited Vertu Hereford to look at some in stock VW Tiguans, We were looked after by India who had good knowledge of the product and listened to our requirements before finding us an available vehicle that was a great fit for those requirements, as the in stock vehicles were not quite right for us. India kept us updated on the progress of our new vehicles delivery date and gave a detailed handover when the day came.
