Verified Investing is a 10 ⭐ service
VI provides significant education with the Deep Dive videos and the portfolio review videos.
Gareth and his team are well versed in market trends, behavior and signals.
They keep the information simple and easy to understand and do not fill their screens with excessive indicators which tend to confuse more than educate.
The trade alerts are excellent and timely. I just recently started in the live trading room. I haven't yet taken a trade but I plan to get involved in the next week or so.
The real time information is excellent. Being able to hear the traders explain what they are doing and why is a great learning feature for me.
Overall I am very pleased with the services.
I started with SMART MONEY COMMODITIES then added SMART MONEY STOCKS AND ETF's, then SMART MONEY CRYPTO. Recently, I finally added the APEX LIVE TRADING ROOM.
My only suggestion is to consider 1 monthly fee that covers all of the SMART MONEY SERVICES.
Maybe SMART MONEY VIP for x amount per month, while leaving the trading room as a separate service (as is).
Overall, 10 ⭐ and highly recommend it.

Inflating Trading Results With Bad Math
Here is the exact quote from Soloway himself last week on a trade gone bad:
Buy ZSL
Entry: $2.85 (Approx 3% of Portfolio)
Average: $3.75 (Approx 6% of Portfolio)
Stop: Confirmation Below $1.75
Target: $6.25
Note: This position was 6% of portfolio, but has fallen to just 3% of portfolio. Thus doubling is only 3% more of portfolio for a total of 6%.
End of quotation. Here is how math actually works. If you have $100 in a portfolio and invest it all in ZSL, 100% of your portfolio is invested in ZSL. If ZSL drops to $90 in value, how much of your portfolio is invested in ZSL? 100% !!!! Soloway's math is incorrectly trying to lower the true extent of losses with this bad math. They've used this same kind of math lowering the true portfolio position with massive losses like NVDA where he has been short for nearly three years and incurred a massive loss on a huge percentage of his portfolio. Additionally, on all of these shorts that have skyrocketed while he claims to have held them (both open and closed), he never considers the carrying cost of the short position such as borrowing costs and dividend repayments. His losses have been much higher than he reports due to the real world costs he literally ignores on shorts that have been a huge part of his portfolio for three years now.

The best money I’ve ever spent
I lost so much money through lack of education when I first started trading just following my emotions, when you start losing all you want to is get back to where you started, and in this day and age it’s hard to know what to believe and what you see. The supposed win rate is not above board
I tried one month of the commodity swing trader. As soon as I started I could see there was trouble. The specific problem here is that they don't know how to chart ballistic or parabolic breakouts.
The win rate is deceptive as they don't close the losers; they leave them as open positions. As a result, almost all of the open positions are in the red. Plus they don't show the percentage allocation to the winners, so a winner might be 2% of portfolio, but you're still carrying losers in the double digits. They completely missed the gold silver platinum breakout this year AND kept doubling down by adding to the short positions, AND the allocation to these positions was double digits. As a result, the current open positions are about -22%. On a 300K portfolio you would be showing about a 75k loss on open positions. They don't update or close out if a position hits the stop loss! I sent a message about this for two of the positions which hit the stop loss and never received a reply. Who would want to be carrying positons that are down 20% or more? Plus during their public videos where they review commodities they don't mention that they have short positions in the commodity service. Not to be trusted, and cancelled subscription.

First, our win rate and trade history are presented transparently. Open positions are not excluded to inflate results, and are actively managed trades by our Pro Traders. Trades remain open in line with our team's trading strategy, and can be open until a technical thesis changes or confirmation levels are reached, which is clearly explained throughout the service. Stop losses can be confirmations, not hard auto-liquidation points, which is a critical distinction in technical analysis and is repeatedly communicated in both the videos and alerts that are sent by our team.
Portfolio allocation is provided with each trade alert sent, including for both initial entries and adds. As with any trading strategy, results can vary significantly depending on how an individual member sizes positions or their own personal risk management. Large drawdowns are almost always a function of personal allocation decisions, not a requirement from our traders.
Regarding commodities, it's incorrect to state that positions have ever been hidden. All active positions, both long and short, are documented and discussed within the service itself. Public market videos are generally market commentary and not intended to serve as a live portfolio disclosure for any of our services.
Trading involves risk, and no methodology performs perfectly in all market conditions. Our focus has always been education, high probability based analysis, and disciplined risk management. While our team has a strong track record, we cannot make guarantees on any particular trade.

Not a great experience, Apex live trading
I purchased Apex live trading because I'm a regular follower of Gareth on YouTube. Unfortunately, the voice and video lag are quite bad, and because Gareth and his team work on microscopic margins, I'm never able to replicate the same price at which they place their orders. I'm actually making a loss rather than any profits. It's not really benefiting me at all.
I literally used it for 2 days and requested if I could switch my payment towards "smart money: ETF," but they refused any change or cancellation. Please be aware of this before you proceed with any purchase. I felt like it was a total waste of $400. Sadly! 😞

Because markets can move quickly, fills can differ based on broker, connection speed, and execution. For this reason, our team emphasizes and encourages our members to focus on learning the setups and risk management that our traders follow rather than strictly matching entries.
Regarding refunds or switching services, all of the services offered at Verified Investing are clearly marked as non-refundable, and this policy is fully disclosed prior to purchase or adding any service to our shopping cart. We are unable to make exceptions or transfer payments between services once access has been granted.
That said, many members typically find our trading room most valuable after taking time to adjust to the execution, position sizing, trading strategy and fast paced nature of the room. Two days is often not enough time to properly adapt to a live trading environment, and Gareth himself generally recommends taking the first week to adapt.

Pros: The daily analysis and technical videos are high quality, especially the ones featuring Gareth.
Cons: I would advise the potential customer to perform the usual due diligence prior to subscribing, in particular investigate the current open positions P&L, asset allocation, and risk management strategy. This might not fit your investment profile. It didn't fit mine.
