PISHING AND SPAMS
After an Instagram message exchange that seemed to come from a bot—triggered simply by my liking one of their posts—I ended up handing over my email address under the guise of receiving important financial information. Eventually, after being constantly spammed with requests to pay for their offer, I unsubscribed. Two days later, I received another email. I unsubscribed a second time. I couldn't quite understand why I was still getting emails after unsubscribing, but I told myself that mistakes happen. A few days later, I received a third email that I had to unsubscribe from *again* (using the same email address). I had to block the sender and mark the messages as spam. I also asked the Instagram account to stop spamming me and blocked them. Who would want to work with someone who operates with that kind of ethics? Not to mention the fact that the profile looked fake—like it was generated by AI. Be careful.

Hi, thank you for the detailed feedback, and I'm sorry for the frustration this caused.
Emails arriving after several unsubscribes shouldn't happen. That points to a syncing issue between our lists rather than anything intentional, and we're looking into it.
Although, as said on Instagram, we have fully removed your email from our listing. Hopefully, you did receive it.
We also take feedback about our Instagram outreach seriously and are working to make those interactions feel less automated.
