The quality looks like something I could attempt to do myself having never touched a sewing machine before in my life. It’s honestly disgraceful, took well over a month to arrive and I would genuinely feel giving this to a homeless person

This company is misleading. It is based in Hong Kong and items are shipped from China. I ordered lights from them and they look really different from the original images. Now the links are no longer active. Just google Vemlay London lights and you will see what I mean. They have changed the whole shop from homeware to only offering clothing now. Also, returning something, don't even bother, they will offer you 10%, then 20%, then 50% then 75% off and expect you to pay shipping to china, that is more than what you already paid. Responses from them are at 3am as they are not a UK company. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Cheap plastic thing from China.
Worth about £2 on the market and an embarrassment to give as a gift. Took ages to come as well.

Awful customer service. Poor quality of clothing. And refused a refund even tho my dress was delivered faulty with wrong wiring. 100% would not recommend

Absolutely rubbish company! Bought a dress that came damaged, I provided evidence of the damage and they refuse to refund me! There refund policy on the website is a cop out and do not supply a full refund even If it's in the time frame they specify on their site and advise when asking for a return that sending it back will cost £20-£30 to return to get your full refund!! It's a joke, receive a product I can't even try on because it's damaged and there doing nothing about it! Do not purchase from them, waste of money, lies and products not fit for purpose.

Just purchased two dresses for my daughter to cover both sizes, dresses arrived and poor quality and never fitted. On instigating refund option one 15% now (on 80 pounds) to settle or return to china with a package cost estimated between 20-30 pounds avoid this company at all costs as I can afford the hit but there will be many people who can't. The name suggests it is based in London and the clothing ends up being poor quality and from china. Scam,scam,scam!

My daughter ordered a tailored jacket from this website and the item that arrived was not as described. The material is frankly awful. It is such poor quality and see-through. This is meant to be a tailored jacket. If you want to return an item you are expected to pay for postage to China. There is nothing on their website to suggest that’s how returns operate. This is an extremely shady business model. Please AVOID like the plague. If you have paid by way of a credit card or debit card, you may be able to obtain your money back via their chargeback schemes. That’s what we are going to attempt in order to get full reimbursement.
UPDATE: after informing the company we were going after a full refund via our debit card’s chargeback scheme; they paid up in full. Result!

Should’ve read the reviews first but I didn’t and now they are not even letting me return free, I need to pay 20-30 pounds like what

I ordered a pair of shoes online. when they arrived three weeks later (not as advertised in 5-14 days) they were nothing like the post on Facebook and very poor quality. They give the impression that they are a London Company by the name but they are based in China. I have asked for returns details but none received so I shall be claiming on my credit card compant and reporting to Trading Standards.

I have ordered a few dresses but the quality wasn’t that good hence I’ve sent everything back.

Now I am waiting for already 3months that they return my £200. I am afraid that they won’t do it anymore as also no one is responding to my mails.

Shocking! They are now called Valoire London. Terrible. Won’t let you return, if they do agree to a return you have to pay to ship to china. Quality is shocking. You are not buying what’s in the pictures

Terrible quality of product- definitely not as described. Colour and material different to what I was expecting and only offered 30% of original cost back in return. I would also have to pay shipping costs for return so effectively getting nothing back.
Absolutely dreadful company and products- avoid!!!

Ordered 2 items from this company as they looked lovely on the pictures I purchased from. Waited for weeks and nothing came then received a call from delivery driver to say didn’t have house number to deliver to. Was so excited for them to come, could not believe what I received. The parcel fitted through my letter box when I opened it was a pair of black cheap trainer socks. How outrageous cost me £60 for a £1.00 pair os socks. Have emailed company but have had no response. Do not fall for this scam. Urgent action needed to take down these companies that steal from people

Vellon london is a misleading firm, selling inferior, poorly made clothing which you have no chance at refunding as conveniently you have to post the item back to chine for a refund. They offer you a 20 or 30 refund to keep the item but I doubt you would ever see the money. Do not use them or be fooled by their adverts

I ordered a dress costing £49.99...well the dress that arrived was NOTHING like the one advertised , pure cheap tat basically...worst thing I've ever seen , have sent an email regarding a return and still waiting for a reply . My advice STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE.

Ordered a dress, the item that arrived was significantly different to the photos online.
Have emailed customer services, awaiting their response.
Paid via PayPal so have also raised a dispute via their resolution centre.

One star, as there is no option for zero. China based warehouse, zero customer service, quality of product very poor, no communication with company. Eventually they agreed to refund 20 % but month later Im still waiting. And you can only return if you post it back TO CHINA at your own cost. Never again!! AVOID < SCAM !!!
