Update 29th April: thanks to the lady who suggested to involve Ankenævnet på Energiområdet when requesting money back from Velkommen! Worked right away! Money was back in my account in less than 24h. Of course no explanation by Velkommen given. At this point it took 9 months for Velkommen to return my money, and probably it would be more if I haven’t threatened with Ankenævnet på Energiområdet! Everybody who experience the same issue, involve Ankenævnet på Energiområdet! The only thing that worked against this scam company!

I used to be an electricity client of Velkommen for several years. I terminated my contract with Velkommen in August 2025. It is now end of
February 2026 and I still haven’t received my overpaid balance from Velkommen (>10 000ddk). I have already done all the described steps to claim my overpaid saldo (registered my tilbagebetalingskonto and informed udbetalinger on their email address). I have tried to call them several times and every time I get different and inconsistent replies of why balance hasn’t reached my bank account. This is my first experience that electricity company fails to return overpaid saldo to their client. This is very unprofessional.
Before leaving Velkommen, I have many times told them to reduce my saldo amount as their calculated expected consumption is not close to my actual consumption.
Additionally, they keep calling me and asking the reason why I have left Velkommen and every time I give them the same reply: 1) velkommen kept taking higher saldo even though my el-consumption was not close to the one they have calculated; 2) velkommen hasn’t returned overpaid saldo.
Also, they have done 3 different final statements and it is hard to understand why amount changes in each final statement.
Considering all above, it is very hard to trust this company and their ways of working are questionable.

I have tried for 4 months to close my account. I have received 2 slutafregnings. They have 26.000DKK of my money and I’m afraid I will never get back.

Kunde no 475399.i ceased being your customer at the end of February 2025 and have paid all final invoices in full for both electricity and gas Despitethis, I continue to receive emails from your organization alleging “touch fraud.” These allegations are entirely false, have no factual basis, and are the direct result of errors on your end, you are asking 10400 as a due amount and without explanation how come this big amount came .i tried contact you but no answer . In November 2024, I was incorrectly charged an excessive amount of 15,222. I contacted customer care multiple times seeking an explanation, none of which was provided. After escalating the matter, I was informed that a refund would be issued. No action was taken until I was compelled to leave a public review on Trustpilot, I paid everything long time ago and still you are holding my personal data which is against GDPR compliance. Please look in to this matter and resolve it , this is a harassment

Very bad service, they lied just to get customers. No possibly to solve problems, activation a SIM card before you got it.
I talked with service 7.01 and they say it was a mistake, I never give an agriment for new number. 8.01 - Now I get the messages I must pay 100kr for close it, and my account is -169kr.
Are you really thinking you doing everything right?
I only asked to read an email your proposal. Now I can’t close your proposal and must pay for it. ???

Hello, I don't speak Danish and I'm applying for a loan at the bank.I applied for a loan, then they called me, spoke to me, asked my name, my CPR number, and then an electricity contract arrived in my email. It shouldn't be this easy to deceive people.
