Had a very unpleasant situation with this crooked company in league with the authorities

Had a very unpleasant situation with a fine from a vehicle with a rear camera, driven by a very miserable looking elderly man with glasses at Bristol airport. It was a situation of total entrapment, broke his own parking rules and he hid the car behind the road sign so you couldn't see it. Had a fine even though there were no road markings to indicate a situation of no parking. I had a sick child in the car and I asked the man if I could park there and he still gave me a fine. What a nasty bit of work, totally disgusting and the adjudication service we're biased and appalling. What a nasty company to be avoided.

Scam because of poor directions to car park

Slowed down in the entrance to Belfast City Airport as the directions to the car park which had been paid for is not fit for purpose and being fined £100. No one exited the car and no one was picked up simply trying to find out where to go.

Email sent to Vehicle Control Services…

Email sent to Vehicle Control Services today.

Dear Sir/Madam.

UPDATE 2-1-26. Owing to the fact that you issued me with a fifth unlawful P.C.N. on 29-12-25. I will now be making a small claims court judgement for £2500 which is £500 for each unlawful P.C.N. I await your response before making formal claim. I will also be seeking damages of £200 per week on top for every week that this 10 month saga has gone on. Vehicle Control Services Limited has until 7 January to address this matter and if it doesn't I will be seeking £10000 compensation.

LETTER BEFORE CLAIM.

Notice of making a small claim against your company.

In March of 2025 you cancelled 2 illegal parking charges against me after I had parked legally in council car parking spaces in the Iceland car park in Abertillery. You have been hounding me recently with threats of court action and bailiffs calling at my home for again parking in 1 of the council parking spaces in the same car park on 19-10-25. Then on 29-12-25 I again received a penalty for parking legally in the same council car parking space on 11-12-25. The South Wales Argus 4 times has reported on your illegal activity and I have contacted them again.

Unfair Parking Charge Notice for allegedly stopping on a road edged by double red lines adjacent to Bristol Airport.

I received a Parking Charge Notice for allegedly stopping on a road edged by double red lines adjacent to Bristol Airport. The appeals process included an option that the vehicle was stationary while checking directions. This was the case. The CCTV photos showed reverse lights illuminated. VCS rejected the explanation improperly and unfairly.

Unfairly charged £100 by VCS for involuntarily stopping at a car park entrance

I have been charged by this company for stopping at Leeds Bradford Airport. I stopped involuntarily at the entrance to the car park as the barrier was not working properly and the entrance was blocked by another car. The passenger I was due to pick-up saw I was stuck at the entrance to the car park and climbed in my vehicle. Eventually the barrier opened and I drove through the car park to the exit, where I paid a £7 charge (even though I didn't stop in the car park). VCS have charged £100 for stopping in the wrong place to pick-up a passenger. I appealed to VCS but they rejected my appeal. They didn't address the points I had raised so I assume they didn't read my appeal or didn't understand the situation. They said I can appeal again but if the second appeal is unsuccessful I will be charged more. I have no confidence the second appeal would be handled fairly and so I feel forced to pay. I feel as though I have been mugged. I will avoid LBA in future.

I gave 1star because there wasn’t one…

I gave 1star because there wasn’t one lower than that.I received a solicitors letter threatening to take me to court if I didn’t pay for a fine that was due, there was no communication from them whatsoever despite them saying there was ,I 100 percent never received any communication and being threatened with a court threat is totally out of order,so beware this company is just a money grabbing shower of ——.

Case dismissed

Just came out of Plymouth county court , having a claim against me by Vehicle Control Services, dismissed. Over a change notice at Bristol city Airport. They will lie to try and get money out of your over charge notices . But luckily the judge saw through them . Despicable company

Why are these companies allowed to…

Why are these companies allowed to bully people. Sent a letter on behalf of a family member to advise that he was in the process of selling the vehicle and was not the driver of a 13min stop at 1am in the morning. no reply just a citation for him to go to court so he is now forked out £160 of his pension for nothing. Government should intervene NOW!!!

Picked family member up at bristol

I picked a family member up at Bristol airport.

I was ticked. The car who took the pictures of me had a bring string of traffic behind him while there was nothing behind me.. I rang the office after getting the number from Bristol airport as all numbers on letter are for payment only.

The attitude on the staff stinks for example the date on the letter was the 13th may 2025 and was not recieved until the 7th June and when i rang and explained it had been delivered late I was told that's the problem of the post office and it needs to be payed before more charges are added.

I then rang up a week later to pay the charge and I also requested a reasonable adjustment to raise complaints of not only unfair treatment but also to the way I was spoken to on the phone lines. I was told that first they have no idea what I'm talking about when requesting a reasonable adjustment under the equality act 2010. I was constantly put on hold when speaking the truth to them and then they would suddenly come back and asked me if I have calmed down and they caused massive amounts of distress, alarm, anxiety and total humiliation.

It is not nice having disability taken the piss out of by these conservative party pirates at VCS and I've found myself taking my complaint to the chief executive due to the fact I was denied many reasonable adjustments and had to call someone to come write a email for me further discriminating against myself by taking my independence away OTHERWISE they made it SO I COULD NOT COMPLAIN which tells EVERYONE EVERYTHING they need to know about this version of the black pearl that VCS use !!

They have 14 calender days or when those phone calls are recieved I will be seeing you in court VCS and I WILL be taking the jobs of those 2 idiots you have answering the phones !

Went to a 40 minute physio appointment…

Went to a 40 minute physio appointment and got a letter approximately 3 weeks later with a demand fir £100. I was parked in the private car park of a building leased by the physiotherapist. I appealed the fine and openly admitted being parked and the reason why. The appeal was rejected because I took too long to appeal. I have now received a letter saying that it is now £160. Sheriff Court proceedings have been instructed if not paid in 10 days. My credit rating will be affected if decree granted. See you in court
