Terrible experience since Interface changed

I used 22Seven for many years and had a good experience, but since the interface changed, this platform has become TERRIBLE.
Transactions are missing but shows you spent a certain amount as an average,it created new budget fields that I’ve never used and never purchased within those categories, some accounts not linking anymore, budgets and spending showing incorrectly, not able to find transactions, auto categorizing seems to be completely broken, etc etc etc.

I really don’t know why they had to break nearly everything and make using the app so unpleasant and frankly unusable and not beneficial at all anymore. Have to basically redo more than half of items, go through all transactions to try and correct the category, update to the correct merchant and icon (also broken), etc.

Seems like it is only there to harvest and monetize user data now rather than being helpful for the users.

Very disappointed and not sure if I want to use this platform anymore

Thanks for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, especially as someone who has been with 22seven for many years. We understand how frustrating it is when an experience you previously relied on no longer feels as smooth or intuitive as before.

The issues you’ve mentioned around missing transactions, incorrect budgeting, categorisation behaviour, linked accounts, and transaction visibility have all been shared with the team and are areas we’re actively working on improving. A number of fixes and refinements have already been rolled out, with more continuing over the coming updates.

We also want to reassure you that the goal remains to help users better understand and manage their finances — not to make the experience more complicated. Feedback like yours plays a big role in helping us prioritise what needs attention most.

If you’re open to it, please reach out to us directly with the specific accounts or examples you’re seeing so we can investigate further and assist you properly. We’d really appreciate the opportunity to improve your experience again.

Thanks for flagging this — just to update you, the bank statement import issue has now been resolved.

Please try uploading your PDF again and it should go through smoothly. If you’re still running into any trouble, feel free to share which bank you’re trying to upload from and we’ll take a closer look for you.
