Seems like a great site for gear, but it's a shame that the delivery ruins the experience
Ordered a snowboard bag on Dec 30th, with an estimated delivery of 4-6 days.
On Jan 9th, I contacted support stating that I was getting nervous about the delivery time frame and that I needed the bag to transport my snowboard for a trip the following week. While support did reach out to their delivery partner, they ultimately did not resolve the issue and the parcel still hasn't arrived as of Jan 16th, therefore I will not have it for my trip.
I would strongly recommend that buyer's shop elsewhere if they want their gear delivered on-time.

Oakley Line Miner Pro L
I ordered an Oakley Line Miner Pro L ski goggle from varuste.net, followed by a second order of two more goggles. One of the goggles from the second order had a small aesthetic defect, so I decided to contact their customer service via email. They responded the same day and provided me with a GLS link to return the item free of charge. Later, I decided I didn’t need the first order either. Once they received the returned package, I received a confirmation email, and two days later, they informed me that the refund had been processed to my Revolut account. They even refunded the shipping cost of my first order (the second one had free shipping due to the higher amount). The money arrived in my account within two days. I’m extremely satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them.

Great for UK buyers
I’m in the UK and was looking for a good price on a Shearwater dive computer and Varuste had one at 20% off. I ordered when it wasn’t in stock but the timeline of new stock arriving was very accurate and as soon as they received it in Finland it was shipped out the same day. I think it was about 2-3 days later that it arrived at my door. DHL will email you to ask for the 20% VAT payment + a small admin fee before customs will release it so make sure you pay that quickly so you don’t hold the delivery up. After paying that, I’ve still saved around 25% on UK prices. Great experience with Varuste and will definitely use again.

There is a minimum order quantity of 165€ VAT 0% ~ 140£. All payment methods are disabled until the value of your shopping cart exceeds 165€ VAT 0%. What company has a minimum order? This is usually a company that is selling wholesale. Varuste.net isn’t wholesale! So, if you want to purchase one pair of shoes, you cannot because the order does not meet the minimum. If I order two pair of shoes, customs will charge as I am over their minimum. I will purchase the same shoes at another store that does not have a minimum. Crazy! G

Poor product quality and terrible service
I purchased a €80 backpack from this shop, expecting quality to match the price. Instead, it arrived dirty, with faded colors, and wrinkled—it looked worse than my son’s backpack, which he’s used for over a year!
I reached out to customer service to address this, but I did not get a response.
Please do not waste time (including mine) with another generic marketing message managing your PR in response to this post--look at the customer complaints you receive and actually address them.
Because as of now, you look like a regular scam shop and I strongly advise against buying from varuste.net.

No customer service. No refund or returns accepted. Bought a pair of Lowa Zephyr GTX Hi FT boots that broke after only 3 - 4 hours of use. Contacted customer service and after about 1 week there's no proper response. Do not buy from this website if you live outside of Finland. Different rules for returns and refunds outside of Finland.
+ Do NOT buy Lowa products. Their products seem to be one time use only.
250€ for boots that only lasts a few hours. Both shoes broke at the same time. Broke from walking in the streets, not in terrain.

Excellent pair of Meindl boots. £170 for a £270 pair of boots in the uk. Unfortunately I then had an additional £60 import tax charged by DHL. Still cheaper than I could get anywhere else and great quality as you’d expect from meindl.

I tried to order some Swarovski binoculars, but they never shipped in over a week. I don't think they had them is stock and they never shipped them. Varuste.net is impossible to get in touch with and customer service is non-existent. I recommend you avoid this seller at all costs. I know their prices are good, but you will never get what you ordered, and you will have one big frustrating experience with them.
