Be prepared to pay a massive bill if you leave before the end of contract of £315. far to much and got sky 500 gb, for £3 less than UW 100 gb. Sometimes hard to communicate with customer service

moved my mobile number from Three to Utility Warehouse using a PAC code. The transfer was supposed to be completed using an eSIM, but the eSIM never worked.
I was then promised that a physical SIM card would be sent to my home, but it never arrived. After contacting UW again, I was told to wait another four days. When a SIM card eventually arrived and I called to activate it, I was informed that the number had already been cancelled. I was then repeatedly told to wait another two working days, but the problem was never resolved.
When I contacted Three, they told me it was too late to recover my original number.
I was left without a working SIM card from 8 April 2026 and received no updates or notifications from UW. I eventually had to move to EE, who gave me a new SIM and a new number because my original number could not be transferred.
Despite never receiving or using a working UW SIM service, I received a bill on 18 July. I contacted UW and was told the charge was for the SIM card I had never received. The adviser apologised and promised to resolve the matter under complaint reference 0882995.
However, on 3 August, I received another notification stating that I now owe an overdue balance of £52.00 for the same service I never received.
This experience has involved repeated delays, broken promises, the loss of my original mobile number, weeks without service and charges for a service that was never provided.
The complaint is still unresolved.

Lovely lady answered my call after usual press this etc. She was very, very patient with me as I couldn't read number on base of smart meter. She said that I will receive new meter in the post in 7 to 10 days,
If it arrives I will be very satisfied.

Muhammad was patient and extreme knowledgeable. He carefully explained everything and made sure I was happy with the contract.
Unfortunately we did not renew our broadband contract as we were offered a better deal elsewhere.

I found Utility Warehouse very difficult to deal with. Long waits in telephone call queues; when I did get through, the staff I spoke to had very poor English language skills.
I wanted a statement of why I owed £13 when I received an email saying my account was in credit by £13? They could not do this. I did not have an account with Utility Warehouse to check because I was with Talk Talk and they acquired my business. I soon changed to a competitor because they were half the price of Utility Warehouse.
Do not use this company; I found their staff incompetent and their prices expensive

I have been with Utility Warehouse for so many years, I can't remember. During those many years and using them for Electricity, Gas, Mobile phones, Land Line, House and Building Insurance - I think that's all! - They have never let me down. There has always been someone to talk to and they have always
been able to helpif I ever needed it.
