I have both gas and electric with UW with no problems but have two sim only mobile accounts. My partner is going to Bulgaria to visit his elderly grandparents this coming weekend, who don’t have WhatsApp and they can’t text them. Would seem this is due to some kind of block that we have asked to be lifted but won’t take place until the first of next month. They aren’t happy and regret moving from EE.
Thank you for your response but now five hours later I’m still waiting for your request for further information!

Utility Warehouse recently went above and beyond with their customer service after I'd had an issue with them reducing my monthly direct debit and using the credit i had built up against a monthly bill despite me asking them not to.
They listened, they resolved and they made me feel that I was a valued customer.
Luke the customer service agent was amazing and a credit to UW

Used utility warehouse for years however had issues.
I am in credit but refused money into account. Explanation is my reading are estimated. My Gas metre battery is dead, I have reported this several occasions over the last year and no engineer has replaced it.
My Internet has went so slow, back to dial up standards. While I have 5/6 services with this company, might be time to move on.
The customer service and support has been terrible over the last year.
Better providers around.

I can always speak to someone on the phone and they have always resolved and problems. Not a problem with my services just me not understanding what to do !!!And a big plus is the lady who signed me up regularly checks in with me even after me being with UW for years. Excellent customer service and honest. Which is a rare thing. You’ve saved me hundreds over the years. So a big thank you to all your staff 👍

When phoning my monthly F.I.T through, I receive nothing but help, politeness and understanding that not everyone wants to give their readings on line.

The only criticism I would make (and it is irritating) is the long wait and the message about experiencing an unusual level of activity as soon as you get through.

Be prepared to pay a massive bill if you leave before the end of contract of £315. far to much and got sky 500 gb, for £3 less than UW 100 gb. Sometimes hard to communicate with customer service

moved my mobile number from Three to Utility Warehouse using a PAC code. The transfer was supposed to be completed using an eSIM, but the eSIM never worked.
I was then promised that a physical SIM card would be sent to my home, but it never arrived. After contacting UW again, I was told to wait another four days. When a SIM card eventually arrived and I called to activate it, I was informed that the number had already been cancelled. I was then repeatedly told to wait another two working days, but the problem was never resolved.
When I contacted Three, they told me it was too late to recover my original number.
I was left without a working SIM card from 8 April 2026 and received no updates or notifications from UW. I eventually had to move to EE, who gave me a new SIM and a new number because my original number could not be transferred.
Despite never receiving or using a working UW SIM service, I received a bill on 18 July. I contacted UW and was told the charge was for the SIM card I had never received. The adviser apologised and promised to resolve the matter under complaint reference 0882995.
However, on 3 August, I received another notification stating that I now owe an overdue balance of £52.00 for the same service I never received.
This experience has involved repeated delays, broken promises, the loss of my original mobile number, weeks without service and charges for a service that was never provided.
The complaint is still unresolved.
