An outstanding costumer support,
Bought a brand new safety boots from eBay individual seller, after few months had an issue with it. Although wasn’t sure with the outcome, however, contacted Uvex directly regarding the matter. What an amazing costumer service Sue has provided. Can not thank enough for the support I got. Brand new Uvex safety footwear provided free of charge and a prompt delivery.
Thank you again.

From the initial contact, through to the trial of the product, was a great experience. No pushy sale from Fran. She was friendly and clear in her sharing of information. Debbie (our local rep) was also great, taking the time to come to our workplace and meet with the team to answer questions and to demonstrate the product. On the back of this, we are now looking to roll out the safety glasses company wide (UK).

I am 186kg in weight, already had serious pain under my feet. But after I started using uvex boots believe me I feel brand new ..

Having had issues with other company safety boots I started using Uvex2 boots about 8 years ago and have found them never to need breaking in, comfortable and light, as a Master Technician I wear them for 12 hours a day on concrete.
Having experienced a problem with the top hooks breaking I found Fran and her team sympathetic and helpful in the extreme resolving the issue to my complete satisfaction ,so I shall continue using Uvex boots and comfort insoles - as a diabetic the combination makes for happy feet😊

Really great customer service, allowed me to trial the gloves before ordering. Whilst not quite right for the work environment the Bamboo twin flex gloves were perfect for the majority of our applications especially rope access.

I reached out to Uvex because I needed a pair of safety glasses for a fairly specialised use case. I wasn’t sure exactly which model would suit best — I might need anti-fog for indoor use, UV protection for outdoor jobs, and a comfortable fit for long work days. That’s when I spoke to Fran (Francesca) Magari from their customer care team.
She went above and beyond: took the time to understand my working conditions, liaised with colleagues in Germany, and helped me pick a model that meets all necessary safety standards for my tasks. The pair she arranged perfectly matches what I needed. I’m genuinely grateful.
As for the glasses themselves: Uvex does what few others manage. Their design isn’t just about ticking boxes on safety specs — it’s about wearer comfort, practicality, and longevity. The polycarbonate lenses resist impact while being light and clear; the frames fit snugly without pressure, and the glasses stay comfortable for hours. They’re reliable for daily use, whether in workshops, labs, or outdoor work sites.
If any brand deserves the title “professional-grade safety eyewear,” Uvex does. And if there was a star rating for customer service, Fran would get five stars too.
Why I’ve Chosen Uvex
Uvex safety glasses are engineered to meet rigorous standards (EN 166, UV400, impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses).
Their anti-fog, scratch- and chemical-resistant coating technology (uvex “supravision excellence”) makes them far more durable and low-maintenance than typical cheap safety glasses.
Comfort and ergonomics are clearly a high priority: soft-grip arms, metal-free frames, and designs that allow combination with other PPE (e.g. earmuffs, masks) make them much easier to wear day after day.
If you’re looking for safety glasses that offer real eye protection, long-term comfort, and reliable durability, Uvex is a smart choice. And if you get help from someone like Fran / Francesca Magari, you’ll likely end up with exactly the right pair for your needs — not just a “one-size-fits-all” spec. It was unfortunately that I lost my glasses and can’t seem to find locally to me but I would definitely like them again

I bought some uvex Phynomic Allround for general work, where they perform well, but found them awesome as general gym gloves.
Comfortable for wearing for over an hour, provide that additional grip and comfort, and barrier from other people's 'ick' on most bars, free weights, and resistance machines.
Note: would not recommend for any specific sport, or heavy lifting where other factors may need to be considered.

I have now purchased two pairs of safety boots from this company worth over £100 each. these have both completely broken down structurally within a year. I have emailed them and their supplier but have had 0 response both times!
Do not buy these products, they are very poor quality the interior of the sole is made of a foam wrapped in a thin (approx 3mm rubber) there is no way this will protect you from sharp piercing objects in construction

I had a fantastic experience with Lucie. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable — she took the time to measure my foot properly and recommended the right size boots along with high-arch insoles. Thanks to her expert advice, my new boots fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I had been struggling for a long time to find boots that fit correctly, and now I can finally enjoy my work without any discomfort. Truly grateful for Lucie's help!

After speaking with Francesca Magari about a PPE query, I read her blog "You really need to Hear this …." and while it was not all news to me (ive been in H&S sometime) I found it very engaging and informative and really covered the subject of hearing protection so well.

I’ve been wearing Quattro pro boots for 10 years now and up until now always found them to be excellent.
I recently purchased a pair and had to send them back because they absorb water through the sole, in the front toe area.
Now this is what usually happens when the boot soles are wearing out exposing a spongy texture under the rubber sole.
I received a second pair, and they leak too.
I sent an email to your customer services to ask if there was a known problem . And to date I have not had a reply.
Needless to say, I am thoroughly disappointed with customer support (can’t be bothered to answer a legitimate question) and the quality of your boots.
I’ve never had a problem like this in 40 years of wearing safety boots.
Update.
Following this review customer services were effective and resolved the issues in a timely manner.

I recently decided to try UVEX sunglasses for the first time after over 10 years of consistently great performance with my Oakleys. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
After just three days of normal use, the UVEX sunglasses were already damaged. Hoping for a reasonable resolution, I reached out to UVEX customer service. I explained the situation and asked if they could offer a free replacement pair, especially since replacement lenses — something I took for granted with quality brands — weren’t available for this model.
To my surprise, the response was curt and unhelpful. UVEX simply suggested that I either contact the retailer where I purchased the sunglasses or buy a new pair. No acknowledgment of the situation, no goodwill gesture — just a flat refusal to assist.
Given how long my Oakleys lasted and the level of support I received from them over the years, this experience with UVEX was extremely disappointing. I expected a much higher standard of quality and customer service. After this, I won't be purchasing from UVEX again.
As an update you’ll see that they asked me to ‘reach out’ to them, which I did on the 28 April and I’ve had radio silence. AWFUL!!!

My company supplies Uvex SAFETY BOOTS as standard issue.when compared to many other brands
This safety boots after 2 Months scores great being lightweight and comfortable to wear giving you good confidence you are well protected. There is a marking on the outside near the ankle "0il-Fuel Resistant-46 . Not sure what that number means. The lightweight, comfy safety protection feeling of this boot gets completely destroyed by stepping onto flat hard concrete wet surfaces and Checkered Plate made worst if there is film of oil or grease there is absolutely no grip.I am not a shoe designer but on close examination The boot soles although being grooved to make toothed grips is still very flat .The oils I encounter where I work are Silicone, Midel, Antifrogen and numerous high performance greases.and Windscreen Wash .My Team 13 shares the same views on this aspect of this Uvex SAFETY boots.

I contacted Uvex requiring safety goggles that meet specific needs as i could not find any online. Customer care was second to none. Fran went above and beyond to help find solutions and liased with Uvex colleagues in Germany to ensure I receive goggles that ensured my safety. Fran sent me a pair that met my needs and I now know my eye safety remains intact wearing these. I wholeheartedly recommend Uvex UK with extra special thanks to Fran for being diligent kind and generous beyond any expectation in helping me. It's nice and refreshing to find there are still genuine caring kind individuals on this planet and that there are genuine companies that care. Thank you.

I bought a new pair of goggles from Uvex in Avoriaz. I used the ski goggles only 2 seasons and there is already damage on the goggle. I stocked it good, handled it with care so the damage is really just the poor quality of the goggle. I already tried to contact Uvex but they just send me from here to there, nobody is willing to help me. Poor quality, poor service. Never buying anything from Uvex again.

I am very dissatisfied with the quality of Uvex2 shoes, model S3 SRC, made in Italy. I bought these boots in the autumn of 2023, I work as an indoor carpenter and take good care of my shoes. But as of today, the sole has come off in many places and cracked, both on the sides and on the sole. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the shoes. The price does not match the quality!

After buying a pair of UVEX safety boots earlier this year and initially loving them, they started to cause me issues.
I’ll not go into the full story but I cannot praise uvex safety group and especially Rob Jones who contacted me and have sent me a new pair of boots and a spare pair of insoles!!!
Fantastic customer care and support.
Rob, if you get to see this, thank you so much for your time and effort!
Thank you!

After struggling for over 2 years with on-going foot issues caused by the standard, compulsory safety shoes supplied by my employer, Amazon, I was at my wits end!
Nobody it seemed could help me - my employer, NHS Foot Care, even Private Orthotic specialists. Then somebody suggested why not try speaking to a company called Uvex, who are one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of safety shoes based in the UK. To be honest at the time I had never heard of them but now I am so glad I did.
I certainly didn’t expect to be given such genuine and helpful individual support by a large manufacturer. They quickly arranged for me to meet a footwear fitting consultant, Michele, who was particularly helpful, knowledgeable and patient. As part of the complimentary consultation she took an electronic footprint which not only measured the length and width of my foot but also my arch type and pressure points. Using this information she was then able to recommend the correct fitting safety shoes including inner soles.
I was surprised at the depth and breadth of safety shoes that Uvex were able to provide to meet almost any specification. I had assumed that this service was only really available for corporate customer’s but I am so grateful that in such good spirit Uvex extended that level of support to an individual customer. That sort commitment deserves commending, hence I am taking the time to write this review.
Thank you Michele and Uvex for going above and beyond to solve my problem. A problem that had gone on for years solved by Uvex in just a few days!

Customer service second to none. Having left a rather acerbic review of some safety glasses on one of their distributors site - Axminster Customer Service picked this up with Uvex who then contacted me directly. I couldn't have found a more helpful, knowledgeable and genuine person anywhere. You know who you are !
The end result...some alternative glasses to try out. Opinion? Uvex Pheos glasses are some, if not the, best safety glasses I have ever worn.
10/10 to Axminster and Uvex
