Nor what I expected
I did requested a translation of a document, but they never explained to me that it won't be notarized. So went I tried to submit this document for my Colombian visa process It was denied, and I wasn't able to get it notarizedbin Texas, because it was somehow translated in Maryland. This has been a nightmare. PLEASE!!!! I need help with this document notarized, and sent to my home address. $78 dollars totally wasted!!!

As a translation company, we offer both certified and standard translation services. We strive to be transparent about the services we provide, and our website includes multiple pages detailing what each service entails, including the page where you placed your order. On the same page, in the FAQ titled “Do you offer notarized translations?”, we state that notarization is not included in our services.
At no point during your order did we receive a request for notarization. Had we been informed, we would have clarified that notarized translations are not something we offer and would have gladly canceled your order and issued a full refund.
That said, we regret if this wasn’t clear enough and will work on making this information even more noticeable in the future. We appreciate your feedback; it helps us improve.

Not what I was expecting.
The time required was longer than indicated in the first email (48 hours) and no additional emails with updates were sent. Additionally, I did not receive a draft for review as I have experienced with other companies only a signed final document and no tools or options to request any modifications if necessary. Lastly, no original paper documents are sent, we only receive a pdf file.
I regret not using Validential to translate it. As I didn't need a title evaluation, just a translation, I opted for the US language but I was disappointed.
Review update: 12/02/24:
Can you please tell me when options for revisions were provided to my translation? I received only email with invoice and then final translation.

To avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to clarify our business hours. Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). We received your order on Thursday, November 14th, and it was sent via email on Monday, November 18th. The translation was completed within two business days, in accordance with the timeframe stated in the first email we sent you.
The service we provided includes the option for revisions after the translation has been delivered. While the delivery email does not explicitly state this, the information is provided on several pages of our website. If you have any comments or concerns regarding the translation, you are welcome to contact us via phone or email. If any corrections are needed, we are happy to make them. We provide the finalized certified translation in PDF format to ensure document security and authenticity.
Lastly, as indicated in our FAQs on the page from which you placed your order, we do not provide mailing services.
We hope this clarifies any misunderstandings regarding our services, and we look forward to assisting you with any additional translation needs in the future.
