No hype, no gimmicks. Just got what I was looking for. Really happy with how it turned out and the results have been solid.
Tl;DR: If you value your time, mental health, and anything that resembles "customer service," DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR SYSTEM FROM THIS COMPANY
Over the past four months, we have been trying to resolve an underperforming solar system with Blue Raven/Sunpower and have experienced some of the worst customer service we’ve ever encountered.
In November 2025, we contacted our sales consultant after noticing that our system appeared to be underproducing based on the Enphase Enlighten monitoring app. The consultant reviewed the numbers and agreed the system appeared to be underperforming. He explained that if the system wasn’t producing, Blue Raven/Sunpower would either install additional panels at no cost to get the system within 10% of the promised output or financially compensate us. He directed us to contact post-install support to start the process.
Support initially agreed the production looked low and scheduled a technician visit for December 1. However, we never received any follow-up. When I called to ask about the results, I was told the system was “working as expected,” but no explanation or data was provided. When I questioned how that conclusion was reached given our production numbers, the representative dismissively said that just because I disagreed didn’t mean they needed to do anything.
Later that same day we received a text from someone in the work order department stating the appointment had actually been cancelled because the system was “overproducing for the month.” This contradicted what we had just been told and raised questions about whether the technician visit ever happened at all.
After clarifying that the issue was annual production relative to the contract guarantee, a Low Production Inquiry (LPI) was supposedly opened in December.
Since then, resolving this issue has required constant follow-up from us. We have repeatedly been promised callbacks that never happened, spent long periods on hold trying to reach supervisors, and received conflicting information from different representatives. At one point we were even told we were “not eligible,” despite earlier confirmation that an inquiry had been opened.
As of today, more than four months later, we still have no answers and no resolution.
The most frustrating part is that our production numbers clearly show the system is underperforming relative to the contract guarantee. Multiple 18-month periods fall 17–24% below the expected production, which should trigger corrective action according to the terms of the agreement.
The pre-installation experience with Blue Raven was smooth and professional, which makes this situation even more disappointing. Unfortunately, once the system was installed, getting meaningful support became extremely difficult.
At this point we are simply asking Blue Raven/Sunpower to review the production data and honor the guarantee outlined in our contract. Instead, we’ve spent months chasing basic communication.

We purchased a new home in 2024 equipped with a SunPower solar system. Initially, it worked for a few months, but since late 2024, it has failed to produce power. We've had multiple SunPower technicians attempt to diagnose and fix the problem, but each service appointment is an extremely lengthy process. Scheduling takes at least one to two months, and there is a persistent lack of communication and coordination between visits. Each time, it feels as though the technicians have to start troubleshooting from scratch. To date, they have replaced our microinverters three times, installed faulty ones, and even replaced the monitoring system twice--soon to be a third time. I am consistently left chasing them for updates and pushing to get rescheduled. I am repeatedly told the case is being escalated, but this only prolongs the delays. As we near mid-2026, our solar system has been non-functional for almost two years. It is especially frustrating because no other homes in our community have encountered these issues. The only positive aspect is that the technicians themselves are consistently professional and courteous, though they appear hampered by internal restrictions. Overall, SunPower's service has been a significant financial and logistical burden, and we cannot recommend them based on our experience. We hope to receive compensation for the last two years, but that has not been guaranteed yet.

The Solar Power Purchase Agreement was explained thoroughly and matched up with independent research I did. Very trustworthy with the information that was shared. Scheduling installation and inspections was drama free.

I'm having a hard time assessing my satisfaction. My system hasn't been reporting for a very long time and I've had difficulties when I've tried to reconnect. I received an email with my yearly report and it showed that the system was producing less than half the previous years level. If someone could help me get it back online I would appreciate it. As for the production, perhaps my panels need to be cleaned

Definitely not what I was promised still receiving power bills just like it would be if I didn’t have solar the absolute biggest waste of money that I have ever spent so not happy

2 years after the install, multiple leaks thru the roof. Had a brand new roof before the solar install.
Called blue raven. They said their installers are private contractors and they dont warranty install work.
Great!

I have had a pretty good experience with the panels other than 1 of the panels not showing what's happening on the app. I have had decently low electricity bills.

Our experience with solar has been an investment. We have had a few problems with our system but they have been quickly resolved. Overall, we are satisfied with our decision to go solar.

Getting Solar from Blue Raven was a great experience. They took care of everything from start to finish. Customer service has also been great!

Fantastic, the crew did an outstanding job and the system has been operational for over 2 years. Very happy with the system they installed.

The solar panels have worked as advertised. My lowest electric bill was $13.56 in September 2025 and my highest electric bill was $124.70 in January 2025.
My January 2026 bill was $96.52. Since I heat my home with natural gas, my bill averages $75 over a 12 month period which is less than what i paid prior to the solar panel installation.

I got my solar panels installed about two years ago. I started noticing one of my panels not producing energy. I kept an eye on my production through the enphase app. I called and it took over 6 months before the problem was fixed. They sent out a few different people to switch the panel from one area to another and finally they gave me a new switchboard for the panel. Overall its cool that I have solar but it doesnt void the electric bill. Eventually after I pay the panels off I want to get grid-scale battery storage to store my own energy produced. Overall what used to be blue raven now Sunpower is good but always do your research.

Love my panels and I'm glad I got them. I was hesitant but decided to get them because power prices will always be going up. My panels have off set the price of my power bill quite a bit. SunPower (formerly Blue Raven) installed my panels and did an excellent job. I'm very happy with the results. The "date of experience" only lets me go back to February 2025, but we've had our panels for probably 4-5 years now.

The process and installation was as expected and professional.

The rep didnt accurately account for how many panels my home would need. I now pay both xcel and Blue Raven every month. Which defeats the purpose of getting the panels.

The install took so long that the federal credit was no longer available. They did discount the system to get close to the original cost. The equipment sat in my driveway for a month because the installers didn't show up when they were first scheduled causing me to waste a vacation day. Maybe they could have let me know that they weren't able to make it. The second scheduled install was also a no call no show. Then they finally install about a month after the initial scheduled date. The final payment was requested and payed even though the system hasn't been inspected by them. Now, a month later the system still isn't inspected so it isn't energized. So, eight months later, I still am not able to reap the benefits of the money that I've payed for this system and I can't even collect interest on the funds.

Installation team was professional and efficient. They went above and beyond to make sure the installation met hoa And buildings codes and accommodated my needs to keep the installation in the right place. They even went to home Depot for paint to make the installation blend into my building and look nice.
