I took a pair of shoes back to Jones Boot Maker, Bury St Edmunds store as the soles were coming off. Little signs of ware, the tread on both the sole and heel clearly visible, no bald spots.
Member of staff took them in and suggested that it was probably a manufacturing fault.
I emailed customer Services who said as I had no receipt no can help. They did have Jones stamped in them.
Took them to the local shoe repairers today who said take the shoes back, manufacturing fault. I explained the position taken by Jones Boot Maker. £36 to replace the soles, the advice from the shoe repairer, don't buy any more shoes from Jones Boot Maker.
I've taken the advice of my shoe repairer, Jones Boot Maker and I are no longer in a relationship.

I was a little concerned about ordering from this company since I was unfamiliar with them. Their price on the product I wanted was much lower than I found locally, or on-line, so I decided to take a chance on placing an order with them (after I researched them first!) I am very pleased with their level of service and communication and will definitely order from them in the future!

Order was on time and as described on line.

I actually sent the boots back because I decided they were a little too formal for what I wanted. They were very nice and well made. Im a big fan of Jones Bootmaker I bought a beautiful pair of leather knee high boots about 15 years ago in England that I am still wearing. They are so well made and a timeless style. Im looking to replace those and will probably order a different pair going forward. It is hard to tell on line. Im happy you are selling to the US and plan to keep looking.

Boots fit well and are good for hiking/outdoor work. Less impressive is that one of the top shoelace hooks broke within the first two days of use.

The size was wrong on the box and on the website and when I emailed to return this item, no response.

Other than a really long shipping time, this experience was flawless.

What I disliked about Jones Bootmaker was when I reached out to customer service through email regarding my 10% discount that was emailed to me for my next purchase. Unfortunately, I clearing out my email I deleted it on accident. I emailed trying to explain with no solution and coupon unable to be resent. Next the moccasins I ordered were nice , but they scratch me on the sides because the stitching is sticking out. I am not returning because of the hassle of returning and replacing However, what Jones bootmaker is doing well is the boots I ordered and came in a timely manner and they were well packaged.The size says US size 6 they fit a tiny big , but I will still wear. Overall, I won’t be turned away from shopping at Jones Bootmaker

The sandals were lovely, but, unfortunately too wide. So I had to return. The return process online was cumbersome. It's all geared to returns in the UK. Finally I got someone on the phone, and she resolved the issue in a flash. Sent me a return slip, which I could take to any us post office. They are now on their way home. Waiting for a credit to my account.

The shoes were delivered as expected. The look great and are incredibly comfortable.

Allowed me to order and charged my card but never shipped the boots, then cancelled the order claiming they were “no longer in stock” ten days later. Super shady and disappointing!

I placed my order and it was accepted but then in a few days got an email that they were out of stock and refunded my purchase . Disappointed but I found boots somewhere else .

I haven’t received any updates on my order and it’s been almost 2 months. No response to my emails

The boot is awesome!! 🔥🔥🔥 Great material and fit. Only issue I had was that the package wasnt addressed to me. I had it delivered to a family's home to avoid theft. Without my name on it, the family member thought it was hers b/c she had ordered boots too and a whole fiasco happened..lol. other than that, service was great and the boot is the 💣

Boots were as described, high quality at a great price. I was worried about shipping from overseas but my package arrived 7 days after I ordered. Would definitely use Jones again.

I love your shoes, I am in us amd they came very fast, I had to return because I didn’t realized they had something didn’t fit me. I ask for help to return it and I was helped immediately.

The boots are good quality. Only reason I put 4* is because the delivery took so long

This is my fifth pair of Neptune short boots. Awesome as usual. Great leather (like the great suedes). Elegant and sleek. Wish they had more suede.

I am so pleased with my recent purchase of Gabor patent leather sneakers. I bought this same shoe last year and it was my favorite. I needed another pair and found them here. Worth the wait for shipping and the price was fantastic!
