Third and final review of NEW CHIC
OK this is my third and final review of New Chic... As described in my two previous reviews... I ordered two shirts from this company back on or around March 30th. Amazingly the shirts finally arrived in early June some 90 days after my initial order... So much for fast delivery... To be fair that is something that was not promised by New Chic...
So lets review what I did receive... One shirt ordered was NOT what I received ... the pattern and style was totally different from the original order. The second shirt was the correct pattern I ordered, but was sooooo small (I ordered XL for both shirts XXL was not an option) it was not even close to fitting . Not wanting to throw away a good shirt.....gave it to my 11 yr old grandson... He is average sized for his age. It's a bit big on him but clearly not out of the range of accepted fashion.
So let's recap the entire story of my order from New Chic.....
1. Order took over 90 days to arrive
2. Thinking I would never actually see my order, I attempted to cancel the order and get a refund but was told repeatedly that option was unavailable.
3. One shirt was completely the wrong pattern and the other soooo small I had to give it to an 11 yr old boy.
4. Based on other reviews on Trust Pilot, returning my shirts would be costly (I have to pay the shipping... all the way back to Hong Kong) and have little assurance I will ever get a refund.
5. My experiences with New Chic "customer service" was anything but service.... I was repeatedly given the same story over and over by multiple "representatives" who essentially respond to your questions and concerns from a script.
My final conclusion.. NEW CHIC is a scam company who use flashy social media and internet advertising to get you interested in their products. Produce sub standard merchandise, have suspect policies and give virtually NO customer SERVICE. My recommendation DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY... They are a rip off
