A fascinating and tailored experience, delivered in pristine woodland by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

What a find!

My girls have additional needs so finding activities which are truly inclusive can be tricky!

I came across urban bushcraft on Facebook, and from the first interaction to the actual fun on the day they have been brilliant!

My girls had the best time, and are excited to go again.

My two boys attended the Minecraft themed day in August and it was a great success. Outdoor play, set in a beautiful bit of woodland at Bulwell Forest Garden! The boys’ imagination and engineering skills came alive; they worked together with the other children to help create a Minecraft village, they mined, created, explored and shared ideas (and of course climbed trees). Great team work, great spirit and they came out, happy, dirty and exhilarated and thankfully tired! Kirsty and team were great and my boys loved every minute. More holiday sessions please! My only criticism would be that is was only 4 hours and not a full day!

Urban Bushcraft sessions are delivered with such knowledge and care for those experiencing them. My 7yo has attended the camps and birthday parties, not only does he enjoy them and meet other kids, he learns new skills that I regularly hear him reflect on and talk about to others. The sessions are empowering and have built on my sons sense of pride and independence. Confidence building is their area of expertise, the sessions are inclusive, welcoming and the learning never stops, even for the staff who reinvest in themselves by constantly learning new skills, adapting and growing. Urban bushcraft encourage nature, knowledge and connection for all. I can’t recommend enough.

Brilliant! Unique experience for my 9 year old son, he was immersed in the Minecraft session and has raved about it ever since. Creative, exciting and no screens in sight. He can't wait to do another one

An amazing day out! Both our kids (4 and 7) had a brilliant time with Kirsty and the team, the activities were varied, fun and perfectly pitched meaning they were fully engaged and entertained for the whole day. Oh and the food was delicius too! WEe're looking forward to doing some of the other elements soon.
