Since writing this review on the 19th Dec I have been emailed by the company with an apology, issued a full refund and received today the item which hadn’t arrived since my order date of the 5th December. So although it has felt frustrating the company has since seeing my review done all that they can and more to rectify the situation, so I may take this review down in order to not cause unnecessary bad will.

I am confused by all the positive reviews for this company. On the 5th December. I ordered Blue-Grey Oyster Mushroom Growing kits x 2 ( incl postage cost £35.74 ) they still haven’t arrived, I emailed asking where my order was and received this response.

However, when I put the tracking number onto Royal Mail site it says on the 5th December.

The sender has advised they have despatched your item to Royal Mail.
More information will be available once we have received your item and scanned it into our network.

I have sent further emails and left voicemail messages to no avail. ( they have no-one to speak to, just a pre recorded message) No-one in this supposedly trustworthy company is taking responsibility for this, I can only assume that I have been scammed.
I just received this response, so hopefully they’ll come good in the end:

As we are unable to get replacement items to arrive in time for tomorrow, I have issued you with a full refund for your order, please allow up to 5 business days for this to process.

The Customer Service received from Urban-Farm-It is fantastic, I wish other companies would be as focused on their customer service as this company does. Well Done Urban-Farm-It ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently ordered a lions mane mushroom growing kit as a birthday gift for my daughter. I was given an arrival date but unfortunately it didn’t arrive. I emailed and explained and got a reply back about an hour later.
They couldn’t have been more helpful. After looking into why they immediately put it right by send a kit with DPD next day delivery. It arrived and still in time for me. The speed of answering apologising about the mix up and making sure I had them was brilliant.
I really couldn’t praise them enough and will certainly use them again as I am sure my daughter will. In my mind they definitely deserve 5⭐️

Had a bit of a rough start with the fruiting of my Lions Maine, purely because of my own mistakes.
However the team at Urban-farm It, are going to send me a replacement which I look forward to.
Very kind of them to give me a second chance.
Hopefully this time I will be able to pull it off.

We ordered Pink Oyster mushrooms. The product was delivered on time, well packaged and with clear instructions. We had a query as they were developing and the customer support was timely, friendly and vey helpful. Ended up with some lovely mushrooms - thank you!

I ordered 5kg wholesale spawn grain blocks and made outdoor beds with it. Now we have more gourmet mushrooms than we know what to do with. And absolutely delicious. Great company, and fast reliable service. Excellent content also for people new to growing mushrooms.

A fantastic product!!!! I've had a great time following along with the instructions and waiting for the mycelium to spread. Once it was ready to start fruiting, I was blown away by the speed and quantity of mushrooms that popped up!! Would definitely recommend getting if you're interesting in growing something a little different.

Lovely support from Alice when my first attempt failed. Big success with my second, using the revised, clearer instructions. Had 2 crops of delicious blue oyster mushrooms, and much joy watching the magic of their growth.

Bought 3 ‘ready to fruit’ kits, took weeks to arrive and none of them have fruited, only grew mould. Contacted customer service multiple times, no reply. Waste of nearly £100 would not recommend.

Attempted to buy 2 mushroom growing kits from their website. It stated 10% off if you buy two kits but at the check out the offer didn't show and there was no promo code given to apply. Received no reply to my customer service inquiry. It just put me off buying from them, especially after reading some of the other reviews. Online shopping experience should be straightforward.

My son received a mushroom grow kit for Christmas, we went to use the kit and realised that the spawn voucher was missing. After emailing the customer care I received an email back extremely quickly, Alice’s customer care was exemplary and we received spawn the very next day. They were so very efficient and friendly.
The kit itself contained everything a first time grower would need and the instructions were easy to follow.
I would highly recommend this company and will use it over other well known companies I have used previously.

The equipment and instructions provided in their White Elm Oyster Mushroom grow-bag kit was easy to use and understand. The results of the kit was as described and any other accompanying advice was clear and to the point. Now awaiting my fourth harvest of mushrooms and will not hesitate make further purchases from them.

I absolutely love Urban Farm It. There products are so easy to use and provide great results. The mushrooms I grew are the tastiest I have ever had. Looking forward to my next flush 🍄 Great company, I would highly recommend them 👌🏻

Very disappointed with two kits gifted to me, both of which only produced one flush each. Tried to follow the instructions to the letter for the first kit until the first flush and then was extra careful with the next one keeping it at the correct temperature appropriate for each stage. As mushrooms are obviously a living organism there are probably a number of extra factors affecting their growth.

Great kit, spawn delivered quickly after ordering and nice simple instructions. Great for beginners
