Very misleading business practices. The company listed a a bike as being a much higher and spec level than it was in reality. $2500 retail price difference.

I am 68 tears old and I took a gamble buying a bike on line. Since my 5 weeks I have over 500 miles and I am craving a ride daily. In the early 1970's we rode our pedal bikes in bliss and wonderment ...Great trails and other riders everywhere its the best money I ever spent. Life changing and riding the wind again!

I got a 23 transition sentinel. It was in incredibly clean condition. I worried about their warranty if something was wrong. Turns out the shock blew after a few weeks of no fault of theirs (2023 Fox x2) I let them know and they had a new part in the mail the next day. I’d happily recommend them to anyone. Genuinely great to work with!

Poor experience: Upway ignores its own offer and ruthlessly returns bike

We wanted to sell our e-bike (Kalkhoff Agattu Impulse 7 HS) and saw that Upway offered this exact model. We registered it via their site, providing all details and the original invoice showing every specification.

Within 15 minutes, Upway sent a concrete offer, explicitly confirming our exact model. We accepted and PostNL picked up the bike. Days later, Upway suddenly rejected it because it has an "Impulse motor".

We are astonished. We were 100% transparent; the word "Impulse" is literally in the model name they approved. Upway refused to listen to reason and ruthlessly sent the bike back.

This is unacceptable. Making a binding offer and then taking the easy way out with a flimsy excuse is highly unprofessional. Beware of Upway's potential unreliable business practices.

I purchased a Specialized Epic World Cup Expert from Upway and feel like I won the lottery! It’s a beautiful bike and appeared to be brand new. I called before the purchase and had a great interaction with the Upway specialist. He even walked through the warehouse and showed me the bike via video. It was packaged extremely well, shipped quickly and arrived with all the extras that come with a new bike. I highly recommend Upway if you’re looking for a bike.

Reliable service to get a good quality 2nd hand bike

I recently purchased an electric bike from Upway Spain, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. The bike arrived exactly as described, in excellent condition, and was very well packaged.

The ordering process was smooth, communication was clear throughout, and the delivery was fast. It's obvious that they carefully inspect and prepare each bike before shipping it.

I'm extremely happy with both the bike and the service I received. I would definitely buy from Upway Spain again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality refurbished e-bike. A well-deserved 5-star experience!

I had up way give me a quote on my mock wheel E bike. I paid a little over $1800 for it. It’s a 2023 with 93 miles on it and they gave me a quote of $321. I couldn’t believe my eyes I get you lose money on E bikes, but that is ridiculous.
This was there response when I complained.
Our pricing takes into account a range of factors, including logistics, labor, wear and tear, our 12-month Upway Warranty, 14-day Test Ride Guarantee, and current market trends—especially as new models continue to enter the market. All offers go through a detailed review process and are final. - Since Upway is a resale platform, our offers may be lower than what you might receive through private sales or local bike shops.
They are making any enormous amount of money on each bike. It’s pretty apparent when you look at their website and how much they sell them for. To bad.

Great website, quick service, great communication. And I love my bike!

Not only did I find a bike at Upway that I had been looking for for a long time, but it also had a complex issue with the shock absorber.
I discussed the situation with Upway, and the level of assistance and support was exceptional—truly top-notch. Plus, there are older motors available that are far superior to current ones. Don't hesitate to buy from Upway; it's fantastic.

I submitted the perfect ideal used bike that checked all the boxes. The response they sent back was a list of reasons why my bike was denied.. non of which are true. I have reason to believe they're using AI to respond to customers based on the unrealistic logic. I'm all for leveraging new tools but not at the expense of a poor customer experience. I will NOT be recommending/subjecting this "company" to anyone. This was a complete waste of time, energy, and hope. Just use Facebook marketplace an call it good.

Never got e-bike delivered

The ebike I bought came with a broken, non-original battery, which was a big shame. However, I must say their Customer Support (Claudia and Stefan, Upway Spain) was excellent and in the end I got all the money back after sending them back the bike at their own cost.

I think they should improve on ensuring how well the bikes are "refurbished" before sending them. Even with a full refund, I lost an incredible amount of time and energy waiting for the shipment, reviewing the situation, getting the bike back and forth to a local mechanic, shipping it back, waiting for the refunds, etc. A bike that is certified refurbished cannot come with a non-working battery, that's something I noticed after riding the bike for 2 minutes.

Buying a used bike from Upway was excellent. I looked for a long time and had pretty much given up on finding a good road ebike but one day there was, just what I wanted, 1/2 the price of a new one. I ordered it and had it in about a week. No problems. It was very well packed. It's just as they said it would be. I'm very happy.

The bike itself is decent. My disappointment comes entirely from Upway's customer service.
A simple referral reward has now required over two months, more than 25 WhatsApp messages, several emails and two escalations to the marketing team.
First, Upway refused to honour the referral programme that was advertised when I bought my bike. Only after I provided proof of their own promotional emails did they agree, in writing, to honour the original offer.
My friend bought his bike using the unique referral code they generated for my account. They then confirmed that my €100 Amazon voucher would be issued automatically after the waiting period.
Weeks later, after nothing arrived, they changed their position again and started requesting my friend's personal information (email and order number), even though the referral code is unique and was successfully redeemed.
The issue is no longer the €100 voucher. It is the amount of time, energy and persistence required to obtain something Upway had already agreed to honour.
This experience makes me question how smoothly a future warranty claim would be handled if such a straightforward commercial commitment requires months of follow-up.

Very happy with the bike and the fact that they described it perfectly.
