Every package I ever received through UPS gone down the same route - "failed to deliver". During these, someone was always home, waiting for the package. Yet, no courier showed up or rang the doorbell or made a phone call. Always end up in a pickup point that is also far away from home. Every package that they could not leave it in the pickup point arrived late and not just by days but 1-2 weeks.
These usually arrive with the outer packaging practically in destroyed condition.
I don't understand how can they keep this up for years.

My package arrived at its destination vandalized, delayed and the products had to be thrown away. Total lack of communication and total indifference. This is the last time I will use UPS services.

They have failed to deliver the same package 7 times

They have cheated me 4 or 5 times in a row with home delivery. They do not even try to deliver, instead they write on the web-page (tracking) "10:47: on the way (no message to the customer sent). 10:50: we were unable to deliver your parcel. Delivered to UPS Access Point". They drive directly to the Access Point without even a single try to deliver home, as it was prepaid, but pretend they tried to + there are delays

I have now had about 8 deliveries from UPS and they have failed to deliver to my door 100% of times. They claim that I was not home when I even daw their truck drive by stop for 10s and then I got a mail they could not teach me. Clai they tried to contact me byt phone show no contact phone call, sma or mail. Do not use tjis service it is expensive a d you end up having to collect your package at a service point. All other compamies manage to deliver the pachages.

Very unprofessional delivery. I received an important company package from the US containing sensitive parts, and the driver left it on the street before getting back into his car. As soon as he saw me, he drove away without even confirming the delivery. Completely unacceptable service.

Driver does not have a phone to get in touch if they have a question for delivery to be successful. Said they did not have the code to enter our building even though I had provided it before the attempt to deliver. It is 2025 - provide the drivers with a phone or a device so that they can access a chat service. That would solve a lot of issues.

Every time same story with UPS delivery. Get the message that they tried deliver but can’t find the adres.
PostNord / DHL / Schencker / Fedex and local shipping is never a problem!!
The only solution is to start calling. Results in a phonecall with some callcenter in Asia.
Previous shipment and phonecall took 45 minutes. And than I can pick up the parcel at the nearest pickup point wich is 45 km away so it takes almost two hours to get the shipment.
It feels like the drivers have to many adresses on one day and don’t have the time to make a call or make the effort to find us.
Really frustrating and sad.

Awful. Didn't get my package and they won't do anything about it.
my recent experience with ups sverige was quite disappointing. I was home the entire day, yet they claimed that a delivery attempt was made. but no one actually came to my door.

Company couriers third time in row faking the delivery to the door. They just telling that the delivery attempt failed, and then drop the parcel in a pick up point. When I called to the customer service (that is the only one way to talk to someone) the waiting time was 59 minutes. If you choose a call back - no one will ever do that. I called them other day, the promised waiting time was 5 minutes, but even after 25 they have nether picked up.

When registerring a new user with UPS, user management seems to use string-based (username) primary keys, so to be able to create an account you have to figure out a completely useless, unique username. You don’t get any suggestions either, and validation is only performed when the registration form is submitted, so prepare to give registration a few tries.
Once in, despite operating in Sweden, it turns out UPS’ database design is staggeringly bad, and I cannot register my address because it contains Swedish letters. Because address is a required field, I also cannot save any other information without giving a misspelled (and thus ambiguous) or fake address (but not to worry, the snide lady manning the phone at customer service tells me the address information isn’t needed or used).
To use basic functions like leaving messages to the driver, I need to wait a week or so while UPS sends me snail mail to validate my address instead of using available digital solutions like BankID and Skatteverket’s API to perform the validation both more securely and almost instantly.
So far the digital UPS experience is one of gross incompetence and a not so nostalgic flashback to digital services in the early 2000s.
Sadly, the digital experience shines in comparison to the physical one where deliveries consistently miss their window, get postponed after the fact, and then simply don’t arrive.
If I could have nothing more to do with UPS, that would still be too soon. Unfortunately, foreign vendors often opt for this garbage excuse of a logistics company and so I have to deal with, time and again, what essentially is the UPS delivery notice: ”we might deliver your parcel some time today, or we might not, so stay home and pray that we do; but don’t count on it, ‘cause we probably won’t”.
A typical UPS experience is getting a notice that a parcel will be delivered early in the day, then (when it’s finally already 45 overdue) the early delivery window I’ve been told to stay home for gets rescheduled to ”before the end of the day”, and then no delivery attempt is made. No call, no heads up. Just an after the fact “yeah no” that drops in around 11 pm in the form of a post facto rescheduling e-mail.
The new rebooked time slot in the e-mail differs from the new rebooked time slot in the app, and the text message seems to be poorly machine translated many years ago (resulting in invalid Swedish), so UPS simply seems to be one of those companies that appears to do nothing well, at least nothing related to the customer experience.
In a just world, UPS would not exist in Sweden.

If I could give a 0, I would. They have been keeping my package for days now and after contacting them to see what is up, I have been told to contact the sender so they tell them to call me on my phone when the driver is near. So, I contacted UPS so they tell me to contact the sender so they can contact me when they deliver the package :) :) :)
Another instance, upon delivering a package that was supposed to be in cold (it was stated so everywhere), they kept it in normal warehouse and delayed the delivery (this time no apparent reason). Needless to say, very expensive package has arrived and the content thawed, thus becoming useless.
Stg, never have I been this perplexed how a company is still in bussiness

If I could give zero stars I would. My latest experience with UPS has been nothing short of infuriating.
They outright lied about making a delivery attempt. Nobody came, nobody knocked, and there was no note. Then, without even bothering to ask me, they decided to reroute my package to an Access Point as if that was somehow what I wanted. Who gave them the right to make that decision for me?
The second package was handled even worse. It arrived at the sorting facility in Arlanda, which seems to be the weakest link in the entire UPS chain. The people running that place clearly have no idea what they are doing. They didn’t even bother to schedule the delivery for the next day. The package just sat there for no reason while I waited and watched the tracking go nowhere.
UPS has become a company that runs on excuses and indifference. There is no accountability, no communication, and no respect for the customer. Every interaction feels like shouting into a void.
Unfortunately, many of us don’t even get a choice in the matter. We’re forced to deal with UPS because the sender picked them, and that’s what makes it even more frustrating. You just have to sit there and hope they manage to do their job properly for once — which, based on my experience, is far from guaranteed

First they lied and said that they had tried to deliver(which they had not, been home all day). Called them and they said they would deliver the day after, as it turns out, also a lie. Still haven’t received my package and now they don’t even have a date of arrival for me. Seriously shitty company

It´s always trouble with UPS in Scandinavia. At first my package would be delivered on October 3, then it was October 6 and today they don´t know when they can deliver. Please leave Scandinavia over to DHL, PostNord or Early Bird. You can´t compete with them.

Reply from UPS Sverige
I wasted an entire day waiting, and the delivery driver never showed up. On top of that, they don’t even have live tracking to see where their delivery van is. Absolutely a horrendous company.

Surely the world's worst run company. Got a text message where I should choose a pickup point. Did so, but the next day I got a message that said they had tried deliver to my home (which I didn't want obviously). Then they sent it to different pickup point and said they would message me when it had arrived there - which they didn't ofcourse. When I tried searching for the packing using my phone, UPS said they cannot track packages that are older than 120 days ... It's inexplicable that a company that so utterly despise their customers still survive!

Awful awful company. Gaslights you saying they attempted delivery but they never do and they drop it at a service point even when you pay for home delivery.
