Cowboys. Con man . Scammer. I’m beyond fuming at what they did to my mother a women of 79 years of age he goes by the name Daniel o connor and his work partner Michael witch is his dad his dad just sits in the vehicle eating sandwiches and taking pictures of my family and Daniel just wants the money these guys don’t know how to fix a roof neither do there partners there partners don’t even speak English they left a ladders on the floor and my 90 year old nan slipped and fell and dislocated her hip they scammed my mother out of 20,000 and the roof still isn’t fixed any roofer in cork is better than these guys there’s only one scammer company in cork and it’s upright roofing and guttering I recommend safe guard roofing cork or alupro roofers cork they know how to get the job done unlike these guys and I heard daniel(the owner of the company ) got brought into the Garda station for questioning about his scam work and botchy jobs I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF U DONT WANNA BE SCAMMED STAY AWAY !!!!!please be aware and take caution any other roofers is cork is better than upright roofing and guttering . I engaged Upright Roofing & Guttering for roof and gutter cleaning. While on site, I was informed that my roof was unsafe and required urgent repairs. Relying on this assessment, I agreed to additional work and paid a substantial amount upfront.

Not all of the agreed work was completed, yet the final cost was significantly higher than initially indicated. When I attempted to contact the business afterwards to address the incomplete work and unexpected costs, I received no response.

I also share the concerns raised by a previous reviewer regarding the business’s details. I have been unable to verify the address listed on the invoice (Little Island, Co. Cork), and I could not find a CRO registration for this business.

Based on my experience, I would urge anyone considering this company to exercise extreme caution: obtain multiple written quotes, confirm business registration details independently, and do not rely solely on on-site assessments before agreeing to additional work.

Recently learned: This business shows no VAT number on its invoice, website or vehicle. In an internet search of the VAT database, there was no record of this business being registered.

The website domain was registered in the Netherlands, not in Ireland, on 06/05/25.

They are not registered with the CRO . I've tried to find their address but e z living are there and upright Roofing and guttering have never been there . The only contact is by phone . You can email too . Their warranty doesn't mean a thing . Would nt use them .

This company is not registered with the CRO (Companies Registration Office).
THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A COMPANY CALLED UPRIGHT ROOFING AND GUTTERING IN Unit 2, Nova Park, Little Island or any where around it . Ask the companies in the industrial estate .
The 35 year warranty is worthless .
Once they get your money which is sent to either of 2 accounts which are not based in Ireland you will not get them to call out again .
The only contact is by phone or email and they will not contact you if anything goes wrong .
The ceilings fell in due to the roof not being secure and water flooding in and while they made an effort to fix the damage it was not very professional. They did not finish putting in insulation. They put in wet insulation which left large yellow stains in a big bedroom upstairs and a larger stain on the living room ceiling. They left a lot of debris in the attic .our mother is sick , they knew it and still hung up on her . It is still not finished and we have got professionals to help . We would never have hired this company if we knew it was NOT registered with the CRO and are not based in unit 2 nova Park Little Island . They charge above or the same as registered companies . I would avoid .
